Guys this is just an other fast food that's it. Don't assume it's a fine dining restaurant or it provides quality food. A Big NO. Kumarakom was good a decade back. Now its totally worst to the core. It will harm your health for sure. Not at all recommended.
Cold water bottles were not available. Prices are too high. When I dined, paid same as swiggy order. Supposed to be less price than swiggy while you dine in. Not much options available. Don't reccommending for families.
Nice restaurant for authentic Kerala Food.nice ambience in a new built place.
26 mar 2023, visited the new outlet at Mogappair East, but it was a confusing place to identify. They just have made up floor not fully furnished. The food as usual was very good but a bit spicy.
Kerala style yummy fish meals and porotta are class apart. The quantity provided in more than sufficient. The taste is very good. The service is prompt. The premise is very clean and spacious. The visit was very satisfying. Totally recommend this place. Pricing is also genuine.
I ordered chicken biriyani online.got pathetic quality of biriyani.dont know if it because of app based booking. The egg used the biriyani was not boiled and the biriyani rice was not cooked well.
Always tell them u need kerala style. There are few hrs when North Indian cooks are thr and thy cook in North indian style. So if u like to taste kerala food. Tell them in advance
Ordered through zomato. The packing done by Kumarakkom was pathetic and the whole curries ordered spilled and spoiled. Poor zomato guy.had to clean his entire bag.
Good food.kerala varieties are good. I bought Puttu, kappa and Ayala Curry. Puttu was very dry and not at all good. Other two was ok.cant say it's a great place.but medium level.
It's a house converted into a nice restaurant. The restaurant has it's own limitations due to it's conversion. But the dishes are hygienic and super tasty
We had ordered beef fry, kerala paratha, beef biryani, chicken lollipop they were delicious and nice. We had also ordered one fish fry covered in leaf which was not fried well and the masala was there just like that. Overall we enjoyed the tasty meal except the fish.
Worst food I have had in my life specially sambar is like ro water and no vegetables and no taste and they gave karimeen polichadhu it is not karimeenu it is karingupona meenu and at last they gave paripu payasam in that only paripu is there no nuts and no taste and also one thing I want to say that when you are going to eat in kumarakom you order in one day before because when we ordered they took one hour to bring one meal so service is too late so don't approach this hotel for your safe who are going to that hotel is taking your own risk so take care of your health.thank you by public person
Worst service ever. No waiters and everything was more like self service. Food was served late and it took like almost 1 hour to get the food. Came here mainly for karimeen and it was also bad. When asked at the reception they told to order online cause there are no waiters. If so why is the restaurant open for dine in, it should be closed and give only takeaway. Worst service ever.
Nice place to have Kerala parottas. The appams, egg-appams and idiyappams are authentic in taste. The Kerala chicken curry is good. Pepper chicken gravy is a bit spicy. Their authentic Kerala dessert, ada pradhaman, is of excellent taste and is a must-try here.
The ambience of the restaurant was good and very friendly staffs but taste of food is not the best when compared to other kerala restaurants moderate pricing and kerala chicken masala and idiyappam was damnnn combo
Ordered beef ularthiyathu, palappam, chicken chettinad and sweet corn chicken soup. The soup was ok, the appam was excellent and chicken chettinad was above average. The beef was disappointing as the meat which was used isn't fresh. The ambiance was ok and with mosquitoes
I have ordered a mutton biriyani. The biriayni was not at all tasty and too costly. I have informed it to the manager who told that Malabar biriyani is like this only and suggested to have regular biriyani which cannot be considered as a valid point. Lot of improvement required. However service is good. Being a Keralite we can easily make it out the taste difference.
Nice place to have some Kerala food. May not be too fancy or exceptional and maybe a bit overpriced. But it still gives you a good vibe to be nostalgic for some time.
Went with family for dinner. Place is neat and services were prompt. Taste of food is average. Mutton curry was ordered and quantity was ok but not cooked fully. Prices are reasonable.
Man. Do not try Kerala biriyani, its like eating white rice with gravy and kareen no flesh at all, only bones.but I heard from a malayali that it is like that, tamilian like me it is a surprise. When I complained about in cooked mutton in my Briyani manager said no body is complaining except you. F.k. At evening it is full of musqitos.
The best kerala food Restaurant in Chennai. This review of for their Anna Nagar joint. They have great varieties of Kerala food. Though North Indian and Chinese food are also available here, Kerala food is the highlight here. Very courteous and professional staff. During Sunday's lunch time, you can expect a waiting period of around 15 min. The Veg meals itself is very good. Seafood such as Karimeen Pollichadu, Neymeen etc.are too good. Their Manager Shafeeq is a real gem of a person and is always @ your service.
A great Kerala cuisine experience! Bit of crowd expected on weekends Great kerala meals Good service guys to help you out in getting good items available
