Peking Restaurant

It was the first time for me and my children to try the Peking restaurant in Nehru stadium, Coimbatore. Though we passed through it many times in the past, we never had the opportunity and it was always on our bucket list. We went for lunch and didn’t know where to start in their menu. But their staff were kind enough to help my children to explain the menu, especially if they are spicy or not, portion size etc.so it was very guided process to select the few items.we chose a soup, noodle, choupsey and a garlic prawn.all were yummy and portion was right enough for us. Overall, a very good restaurant for chinese food.

One of the best special chicken chilli in the whole of coimbatore.
The burnt garlic chilli noodles were also very exquisite in tastebas far as Chinese dishes go.

Really sad that such an iconic restaurant in coimbatore has lost it's touch.

One of the best Chinese Restaurants in Coimbatore. Food was awesome the quality of the food is good and quantity too. Pricing is on the higher side. Good service. Staff are polite as well.

Overall, good Chinese food. Very limited option for vegetarians though. Their fried rice and mushroom Manchurian is best. Their soups are okayish though, most taste the same.
They don't have gravy dishes, most of what they have is dry, so let them know in advance if gravy is required.
Liked the interiors. It's done up in traditional Chinese style.

I have never tried chinese food so checked in Peking but the food tastes like Indian other than that restaurant ambience was good and the waiters are very calm and respectful while taking orders. Nice spot and I would visit later sometime.

Excellent food. Had Chicken fried rice, Kung pai chicken and Tiramisu dessert. Mangsla and Eiking helped take care of our baby while we ate. Super service. Thank you

Tried delivery. The packaging they use is toxic.
They charge you 399 for dishes and then end up dumping them in 1 rupee roadside silver covers.
Imagine dumping hot food inside toxic covers.
Grow up and show some concern in how you treat customers.change this first then one can talk about the taste.

Small place but good ambience. If you want to try a Chinese restaurant in the vicinity of VOC Park, this place is good. Bit expensive but worth the money. Service is also good. Had singapore schezwan fried rice, crispy chilli prawns and manchow soup.soup and praws no complaints at all but fried rice infact it was my mistake. The waiter did inform that the dish will be sweet and no spice.never thought it will be so sweet that I had to use the chilli sauce to match it

They are using sauce limitless, better eat less here because it gives many problems, very late response, nothing healthy available here,

It's a good Chinese restaurant in coimbatore. Food served on time and very tasty. Nice soup. Thai Spicy chicken was good and chicken momos is delicious.worth for money. And kids friendly restaurant.

This is one of Coimbatore’s long-standing gems for Indo Chinese food. The ambience may seem dated, but the food has been consistently good for about 3 decades! As people with milder taste buds, we generally ask for less spicy versions of their dishes, and the Chicken Steam Rice is our go-to favourite.

6 stars if I could give them. Prices seem high but actually for the quantity they give its totally reasonable. Great prompt service, great ambience. Definitely worth it!

Plse avoid this place. We waited for 20 minutes for the staff to even respond. Saw three family just up and leave the place. Only importance to Swiggy orders. Was a good place but better avoid dine in as service levels is the lowest in Coimbatore.

We tried a Malaysian chicken noodle, a burnt garlic chicken fired rice, chilly fish. All of them tasted the same! Food is also very salty here. Only plus is the quantity of the food, one item is good enough for 2 people. The ambience is bad and the place is poorly lit. I don't recommend this place.

Worst Chinese outlet ever. Even the schezwan rice was bland. Ordered American chopsey, nanking noodles and schezwan fried rice. Roadside shop will serve better food than this. Extremely high priced and utterly disappointed.

Dimly lit interiors with inexperience serving staff was what we experienced. Food was just okay. No wonder thee restaurant was half-empty even on a weekend evening.

One of the oldest Chinese restaurant around cbe. Good location of the place. Customer friendly staff. Average cost. A must try Chinese hangout. Chopsuey, Dumplings, Roasted pork are a must try. Will come back for more.

Very popular place for Chinese food. Personally I feel that it was too dimly lit. I found the food I ate was quite tasty.

Average food billed high, spacious seating.ordered dumplings and soup which was not spicy or sweat, just bland. Most dishes served were cold. Would recommend this Chinese food restaurant as last option in town.

Been ordering food from Peking for several years now.my standard order of Prawn Noodles, Sliced Chilli Pork (Gravy) and Steamed Chicken Momos. It's so good that I haven't bothered trying any of the other stuff on their menu. Superb!

Very nice restaurant specializing seafood and chicken. The fried rice is very good, the spice level is higher for Chinese food, which sits well with south Indians.

Right from my college days been visiting this place and almost after a decade and still the chopsuey and hunan chicken rocks.

Long back it was a good place to have chinese cuisine. Now the food is below average and they charge exhorbitantly.

Stale food.worst service.first of all the restaurant was empty. Moreover he staff were more keen on having their lunch and wanting us to leave asap. Having a child and forcing her to eat fast was impossible. Had to leave halfway. Avoid this restaurant.

Fast service. Calm and peaceful restaurant. Good quality of food. Especially prawn fried rice with pork manchurian.

Went after long time. Food was not great. Ordered veg fried rice, it has only onion n carrot. Earlier it used to be good but now detoriated.

Good Indian chinese food. The cost has been hiked up now. So be prepared to shell out approx. Rs. 600.00 for two for a simple meal. But if you opt for veg.food, better give it a miss. If you order any veg.side dish, you will get a bowl full of porridge with a couple of slices of onion, capsicum, a quarter piece of mushroom and cauliflower piece thrown in. Nothing more nothing less. I'm writing this after trying for two times. In spite of complaining the first time, there is no improvement, so I'm posting this publicly.

Value for money Chinese lunch n dinner option in Coimbatore. This is one among the oldest Chinese joints of the town. Staffs are pleasantly helpful.

One of the fine place to enjoy Chinese dishes. The chicken manchow soup and chop suey was amazing.
