Savoury Sea Shell

If you are a foodie and wanna try best of all the items ranging (be it veg or non-veg), their huge menu would keep you busy. I would suggest some of my recommendations for veg paneer butter masala and any platter for non veg.don't forget the desert the sizzling brownie.

Sea shell omr branch started losing taste and reputation. Please take necessary steps

I dinned in on day before new year

Ordered fish tikka, barbecue & alfam chicken, hyderabad biryani, hot and sour soup

Service is slow, Food taste is good however most of varieties was not available during our dinner time.

Had a terrible experience here, went for a dinner and found the atmosphere very bad and dirty cloths on table with stains all over and even the food we had is not good, we had starters and biryani which is ok but in the end we had an strawberry cream which is spoiled when we report this to manager he said this is what it will taste like.we visit sea shell on regular basis in velachery branch this is first time we tried in sholinganallur and it would be the last.worst experience

Worst experience ever. Once upon a time it was famous for the starters but today even it is worse. I ordered barbecue chicken half it was very hard and tasteless.

Service not as expected with the brand shown server not at all responded we have been waiting 10-15 minutes to say the order. Floor was not clean and hygienic, food served late and dish is not fresh and masala was raw. Totally worst experience

First of all from price point of view, it is not worth of paying the quantity they provide. Only one person was handling the entire order which took unnecessary delay by the time food arrives we almost got over from hungry. Also they running with very limited main courses. So I don't recommend this if you are more hungry.

Good old sea shell ; after the covid the one thing it changed was the plates, its now paper plates and spoon.taste wise the same.thanks to hotel they made grill on request.service still the same.

A wonderful place to enjoy Arabian feast. We tried menu items from fish, chicken and mutton variants. Taste was good. Ambience was very good.

Vanjiram is a must try. And please go as a minimum team of four members if you wanna try this as it'll be a 2 foot long fish.
Prawn, chicken were good.

Some mutton variants were hard as per Arabian style so please discuss with waiter before ordering the same.

This is my all time favourite restaurant and truly worth for the money. Recent days, they are giving preference to take away orders first and you gotta wait for sometime if you opt out for dine, -in. Taste, service are too good. One of the pocket friendly restaurants in Chennai.

Amazing food and nice ambience. Staters, main course, roti each item is great in taste, oil is not visible at all in any dish.
A must stop for non vegetarians.

I tried barbeque, tandoori, grilled, butter chicken masala with my friends. Tandoori was very tasty, butter chicken masala is a must try.nice place.peaceful environment.nice service.

Ambience and food is good. I gave 3 because there are couple of things I didn't liked like they served malai kofta was not tasty at all. Then fish fry they sent was already half burnt. Staff is good and polite.

This place is good for the seafood lovers, you will get most of the seafood items here. Non veg varieties for decent, food is not so spicy for min. Spice lovers and food taste is really good. Ambience is decent and feel good thing. Services was bit delayed is the wording part.

Overall the experience was good. However, we ordered lobster which costed Rs. 2000 for plate, which is very high. The price is on higher side. Other than that, food taste was good.

I had chicken tom yung soup. And it was the worst soup i have jad in my whole life
P. S I have eaten a 20rs soup in Noida which was way better than this. Not a good restaurant for soups I guess.

The best grill chicken and shawarma can be found here. Their briyani is also nice. A descent and spacious restaurant with a clean restroom. This place is crowded with family ppl just saying.their service is a special mention. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. ️

The service was too late and grilled chicken was not upto the mark, Sea shell keep an eye of empty glass of water we cannot asking to give water again and again

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. Good ambience.
You can also reserve seats if you're planning for a team lunch or dinner.
They serve food at reasonable rate. Must try their Arabian food and dessert options.
Their parking system can be improved. Parking four wheelers can be a bit difficult.

3 ratings for food quality and taste. Shawarma and rest of Arabian dishes scores good but the Briyani is biggest turn off. Don't ever think of trying Briyani at savory sea shell. As always, services at all the sea shell branches are worst. The floor managers at all the sea shells are rude to the customers. One incident happened at sea shell Velachery for an incorrect billing where the manager was stubborn that the bill he made is right and the corresponding dish haven't been eaten by us. As a customer we know what we ate and it created a mess. Although the restaurants scores good in taste and ambience it always deserves 3 or less than three rating according to me.

Taste of food about to accept but i dint find very awesome in this branch. Easy to spot place, Ambiance feels okay okay.need to improve both in food taste and quality.
