1) No space for parking
2) Charging chicken briyani.around 240rs. Which is not worthy. RAITHA Is worst.
They don't provide Brinjal dish for the briyani.

Went for lunch. Food is just ok. Though it was an AC restaurant, it was not enough as it was still sultry inside. All waiters are non-Tamil speaking folks. So it is a bit difficult to make them understand our requirements. Better service provided for larger groups and not when you go in a small group. All payment options available.
1. Schezwan Fried rice - Okish but they were ready to accommodate requests as per our taste
2. Phuket Fish - Not up to the liking. It was more on a white garlic sauce and not good quality fish used
3. Lime soda - Very good and just tangy enough and refreshing
4. Manchow soup - Just ok. Nothing extraordinary

Pricing is a bit high for seafoods.

A good place for big meals. I've been there for lunch with my friends. The items were so good. The ambiance is cool and lovely. The prices were normal. The staffs were customer friendly and even recommended few dishes based on our choice. I recommend this place for office meet-ups and get together. Make sure you reserve a table before an hour if it's going to be lunch or dinner.

Varieties are plenty, one must try Snapper Fish BBQ where it tastes good but spicy, shawarma goes good though, service were good even. Recommended for family as we have lot of options

Ambience is good. I ordered mushroom fried rice. Taste is avg. Price is normal. Quantity is good

We went for new year eve dine out. Its a good experience only limited people were in restaurant.

We tried non Arabian cuisine for first time. Chinese starters were moderate but main course was top notch especially mutton bhuna roast.

One of the finest places for good Non-Veg and Veg food. Right from Soup, Starters, Curries, Biriyani, rice varieties to Deserts, you will love it all. Lot of Arabian dishes are available, along with North Indian, Chinese as well. Truly multi cuisine. The portion size is also good.
The seating capacity is good enough for even large gangs.

Mediocre everything.
Service felt kinda sluggish.

Hope they improve that before my next visit.

Good service my the persons work there. I went there for breakfast. Chicken curry with parotta is awesome.

The milk shake is worst and taste less.they used only ice cubes and not even 10% ice cream.

It is not restaurant it is road side fast food Worst ever biriyani, they just mixed old rice with some gravy and served and also old meat

We ordered Ikka tejaj it's a chicken dish and it was very delicious and prawn tawa fry also very tasty.
Mutton Biriyani is not very tasty.it was tasted like reheated Briyani.

Comparing to other restaurants price is little high

Awesome food. Very good quantity as well. Their briyanis are excellent. Prawn briyani to be precise. Sumptuous for lunch. Good packaging and vert good dine in service. Friendly staff. Good work. Highly recommended. A must try.

Great place to have food with family or for couples. Nice staff. Good service. There was a special chair for toddlers i loved it. My 1 year daughter was super comfortable in it and we were able to have our food peacefully.

We did a party here. The food and ambiance are awesome. The starters are very tasty. Indian and Arabian dishes are so nice.

Why does all the food taste so bad.not even meeting requirements and should be closed if pandemic is reason for the change in taste.

Ill treating if not knowing hindi. All servers are hindi speaking guy, not knowing basic tamil also. Servers are asking customers to talk in hindi. If not knowing hindi, they are asking why coming without not knowing hindi. Where are we living. Chennai or north India.

Renovation required for the place, taste and quality is okay but need to bring back the old taste. Service is good. Parking on service road only.

Arabic type restaurant in the OMR with also North Indian and Chinese menu. With diverse menu, the food quality and taste is okay and average. With some focused changes in restaurant set up and in menu, the place can be made a good place for office lunches and family dinners.

First time for the sea shell. Experience was not so great. Taste is not bad and service is very poor. Hotel is not so crowded also. Not the great place to hang out with friends or family.

Best place to visit for a arabian feast. Be vary while ordering. Because the portion is more with every items. We have ordered a lot and ended up packing few doggy bites.

Ambience was good service can be better and had a high expectations on the food except the tandoori chicken and soup's everything was quite normal and there was no pasta varieties.

Delicious menu, it was very tough to select a dish from the varied varieties of food available there, i will surely suggest this place to everyone

It is one of the good place to have good food. The ambiance and the interiors are good. The top floor is better than the ground floor in getting served quicker and for better ambience.

Wonderful place to eat crab lolly pop, and mutton dishes here are very tasty and well cooked. Briyanis are okay okay taste comparing other places in Chennai.

The hyderabad mughal biryani is must try, but the quality could be consistent and the sea food menu with the arabian touch is awesome

Pretty good restaurant for a casual outing. Great place for Arabian food. Limited choice for vegetarian food though. You'll need to wait for 15 to 30 minutes if you are going during peak times.

Me and my family have been a fan of savoury sea shell for almost a decade.
Our all time favorites are the Chinese platter,
Chicken shawarma roll, crispy cauliflower,
BBQ chicken and their accompaniments which are drooling, especially for non veg lovers. My kids love their famous accompaniments for the grill and BBQ which are kuboos, garlic mayo and peanut sauce.
They've got a good and child-friendly ambience. Good service too!
This is a good place for friends and family to have the best Arabian delights in the metropolitan!

Ambience of the restaurant is great especially the first floor. Be particular to choose the window side table if you like to get the view of the posh front road.

There is a variety of Indian, Arabian and Chinese dishes in the menu. We have ordered soups (sweet corn chicken & crab), chicken kebab wrapped in beaten egg, french fries, variety of burgers, pasta, chocolate brownie sizzler and pulpy grape juice. Taste of all the dishes are good. I suggest you to try crab soup, brownie sizzler and pulpy grape juice.

Serving time is quite long and hence better order starters, main course and the sweet dishes in one go.

Valet parking facility is available for four wheeler commuters.

Im continuosly ordering here every time they give less myannose, if we ask more they will charge. Money minded

Food is half cooked, services is very late, asked for finger bowls and got reply as hot water is finished.hahahahahaha

Went here for Sunday lunch. Table was booked already.the service was very bad.once two waiters were there for the full floor. We waited here. For our food at least half an hour.the food was not good at all. Taste was very bad when compared to other seashell.overall a worst experience

Can't say much as we were the last order they took for the day by 12: 00. Butter naan tasted good. Dragon chicken nothing much to say, for me it's in ok range. Butter chicken was not good. Maybe it's due to the time at which the order was taken. But restaurants need to keep up their quality at any time I guess.

My recommended restaurant for quality food in affordable prices. Good spot for hangout with friends. Try Arabian menu and sizzling brownie.

Nice hotel. Don't eat HYDERABAD BIRIYANI alone. They won't give onions. It will be charged if u get that.

Sea shell is a restaurant for people who don't want to risk. Most menu served are either average or above. So you know the food won't taste bad! Few sea shell restaurants in the city serve tasty food too! Coming to sea shell Velachery, the food quality and taste is average. Overall it's a decent place to have both veg & non-veg food. But for vegetarians who don't prefer the non-veg smells all around, this may not be the right place. But for sure, veg food here taste good. Hope this helps
