Savoury Sea Shell Restaurant - Velachery

We had a wonderful time for my daughters 1st birthday in sea shell Velacherry. The service and food was awesome. Initially I booked 150 members but unfortunately 200 + members came.they have arranged food very fast and delicious. Especially mutton Briyani chicken varieties and soooooo.
Staff ‘Jomon’ arrangements was good and very friendly move person. Much appreciated, pls keep it up. I ll recommend my friends if they search good hall and restaurant in Chennai. Finally we are so happy for the whole setup till last person came out.

We ordered chicken Soup, couple of startes and chicken Briyani. We recieved worst service and food.

Do not try dum biryani. It is one of the worst briyani I ever tasted. So oily.

Fish finger and Gril chicken are also not that great. It is of average taste.

Excellent service provided by Pawan Thappa Sir and Team.

Delicious Food and especially samak meshawi Fish.

As usual no compromise in food taste.

Recently we visited this one. Enjoyed the food to the core. Very tasty.mutton kuruma was excellent.

We went for dinner and lemon chicken was our fav. They made hakka noodles to another level. Decent and nice ambiance

Ordered chicken sheek cabab, mixed fried rice and noodles. All are good and tasty, especially the tomatoe chutney they provided was too tasty. Nice dine in experience with my family. Wash room should be a bit better looking. Besides water leaking roofs should get fixed.

Biryani No taste. Should not be called Arabian.
Chicken 65 is the worst.
High cost. Not recommended.

If you have an idea of eating biryani then don't even think about this place.they just mixed some gravies and masala with plain rice and served it as biryani and it was too spicy that i cant even eat 10% of it.it was a complete waste

Sea Shell has became my favorite restaurant for it's Service. Staffs are very friendly and kind. Either your orders are in great numbers or 1 they will be kind and serve with most responsibility. Next comes the Location and Ambiance of the restaurant. Even though it's located on a hotspot zone and high traffic area once you get into the dining literally you won't hear a single horn sound or traffic sounds. Dining is made such a way to have a peaceful food. Do check out this amazing place and have a good day.

Tonight me and my friends bought half Al Faham parcel, billing guy said only one kubus comes with half, we asked one more and paid for that extra Kubus too. But one Kubus was not hot that even ok but it smelled bad. Why would anyone do something like this another human. Pathetic.

We visited for Sunday dinner @7pm. Not very crowed.
Got seats for 10 persons as per request. Food delivered quick. But further service on checking water, refill, next orders needs to be improved. While you order please mention the spicy levels you like. Starter items were good. Curry items were just OK, Alfaham dejaj chicken, Phuket fish, Paneer 65, Mushroom 65, Egg paratha were good. Desserts try Kulfi falooda. Over all it was good.

I was eating on October 26 th in seeshell hotel.all dishes are not good preparation and prawn briyani is very speicy.i am getting a stomach pain also.so please friends order before check that food good or not.few years before Velachery branch good but now total waste of money and same likes street shops this is my experience in sea shell hotel at Velachery.

Very very worst. We paid 240 rs for gravies (take away). Not even single person can eat with that quantity. If you are going to serve customer like this u have to inform them about the qty. Worst shop ever seen.dont waste your money

Great place to have food with family / friends. Very good parking facilities.
Ordered for BBQ chicken, tikka, squid fry, butter chicken masala and chicken fried rice. The quantity as well as the quality was excellent. Definitely you will not be disappointed coming to this place.
Note: During weekends it will be too crowded so plan accordingly.

Amazing taste and its cheap too. I ate for 1000 here with my family which wouldve costed me 3800 in any other good restaurant

Went for team dinner on a rush day with 15ppl.
Every food was delicious, only minus was they took around 20-30mins for each food to serve.

Average. I like the anna nagar and greams road branch.the service and food would be much better

Dispoinment my exceptation.cost of the food is high and quantity aslo less for this price.taste is not gud.service was gud.

Was a Okay experience, not good. We ordered Mutton Raan (870Rs), it wasn't cooked well, so we asked them to check. They again did some grilling and served us. But it wasn't as like before we had. Quite upset with that dish.

We also ordered Samak Tawa Fish (1350Rs). Fish size was Okay, but the masalas didn't get into the fish completely. It was like we were eating a plain fish.

There was a offer stating 2 free mini falooda for bill above 1499Rs, though we billed for 3.9k we asked for 4 mini falooda, but they provided only two.

Food quantity is less for the cost which they are charging. When we were asked veg kurma, navaratan kurma has been served to us. I hope they need more maintenance. Felt not worth for the money which we gave. Nungambakkam sea shell foods are good in taste but this velachery restaurant is not meeting expectations

This restaurant is situated in an easily accessible location in Velacherry opposite to Grand Mall. Spread across two floors they offer varieties of dishes. Seafood dishes are also offered subjected to availability. Taste and quality of food is good and they charge reasonable rates. Interials of the restaurant is good but it was crowded. Wash area is not clean.

The barbecue variety in non veg they are special, but in the display it looks good and big pieces, but when we order small quantities they don't give proper pieces other wise service is good and taste is good

Good and neat restaurant.foods are good at.little bit higher in price.but it's worth the money. I would rate it 5 star due to glass they severed water is not tat clean and its smells bad.

Worst experience today lunch, in savoury sea shell 45 minutes waiting for Butterscotch ice cream, chocolate milk shake after lunch (almost 50 minutes waiting for lunch) but not to get the taste, even compliant to manager there is no response, getting water from the restaurant 20 minutes waiting

Good service.good place to go during weekdays and not during weekends because of the crowd n. Courteous and kind servers

Good food good ambience. U get some great Arabian food. Not sure whether it tastes exactly like the authentic Arabian foof

More variety of sea foods available. Tasty starters. Pleasent ambiance.but Took more time for each and every order.

Went for dinner and I noticed the quality of food is not good during weekend. I don't like the food at all, the quality is really very bad.

Good only for BBQ chicken with kubbus and dips. Other variants are just above average which Includes Arabian & Indian biryani, pastas, Chinese, Phuket fish platter etc.

Nice place to take out your family for lunch and dinner. The waiter are doesn't talk native language and it's very hard to understand what they are talking about.

So many options for starters. Loved their boneless mutton fry, squid salt and pepper fry. Kobi dejaj was pretty good as well. Crispy lamb in oyster sauce was good but not crispy at all. Chicken lollipop was also really tasty! Bit pricey but food is indeed good.

Attended a party and everything was good. Though you don't have parking area, they provide Valet parking. Food was good.

Tried chettinad chkn curry, naan bread n chilly baby corn.fud was excellent bt price is on d expensive side

One of famous restaurant in Chennai. Grill chicken, BBQ chicken, sharwarma roll will be good. I try tawa chicken wen I went it was very good.

Very tasty items.if you are not worry about cost.bit expensive.as per me. But can experience good taste.especially non veg all items are good

Need to increase the taste a bit more, especially fish items are not that much good and others items are ok compared to their okkiampet branch. CHEF please note this point.

We booked a tables for our team meeting with lunch. There food taste is ok but we didn't get a new varieties in there. For a buffet they serve only 5 or 6 items. Main course is nothing.
