Amazing view … but the food could be much better: I ordered prawns with salad but came over cooked baby prawns with 4 slices of carrots and 2 slices of cucumber.

Excellent place to spend time with your friends. Great ambience and great food. In general best place to spend your weekend. I had great time with my friends. Friendly staffs and safe place.

This place is heaven.really feels like home.we enjoyed a lot.rooms are hygiene and clean.they have provided hygiene and tasty food.which makes us happy.and worth for money.

A pleasant restaurant on the banks of mahabalipuram. It's on a rooftop and the view is amazing. The starters were good but the their rice items could have been better for the price. They also serve.

Disgusting food. Ordered the seafood platter and Roast Chicken with boiled veg. Fried squid was tough as old boots, and tasted rancid; grilled fish was also rotten and tasted bitter; grilled prawns were overcooked with the texture like that of rubber bands. Sent it all back, only to receive slightly fresher product, but still beyond overcooked (decided not to complain a third time since it was falling on deaf ears, and consume what we can). The roast chicken was just fine, but the boiled vegetables were coated in some sort of red masala which was overpowering. Overall, a terrible dining experience, and the one star is just for the beach view.

My go-to place in Mahabalipuram, peaceful restaurant, excellent view and calm ambience, respectful people and very polite. Food quality is reasonable and for many would not fit the pocket.

Expensive for a shack by the sea.

Tawa fry is their popular method and is indeed tasty - be it tawa fry fish or tawa prawns

Right next to the shore. A hut-styled restaurant lined on the beach and resort rooms behind it. A 50 feet walk to the beach. Food is decent, not excellent. Pricing could not be completely justified.

Went a lil early in the morning around 8: 00 AM.it was more of random pick.was not sure weather they would be open due to lockdown? But to our surprise they did serve.

Sanitization/ Temperature Check / Social Distancing - Not insisted! Sanitizers are available. Can't blame a restaurant as its our responsibility to follow it.

Food - 3.5 / 5 -
Ordered Squid & and pan cakes.it was good & well prepared.

Service - 3 / 5 - Had a long wait time

Value - 3 / 5 - Slitch overpriced.must be due to the foreigners crowd

Ambience - 3 / 5 -
Though its on the beach front.it would be better to have fans.as during summer it gets sultry without sea breeze. Sea front is the only thing.you get to sit on basic plastic chairs & tables only.

Parking – 1/5 -
Cars can be parked on the main road provided you get a good spot as other resort owners might object.as it a small road & then Its 50 - 100 mts lane walk to reach the property.

Hygiene - 2/5 - Needs Improvement

Toilets - 2/5 - Needs improvement

Billing - 3/5 - Process was quick.

Pros - I don't see much here.jus the beach and some decent food.
Best time to visit would be evening after 5: 00 PM.

Cons - Parking / Seating (comfort)
Its common in Mahabs to see a overprices spots.as they majorly focus on foreigners.and ignore localites.

Verdict: Wouldn't say a bad experience but good.

Today we have enjoyed the sea food here. The spices Combination in Kadama (squid), prawns and fish curry make the dishes mouth watering.

The food is not up to the mark. Price is no lesser than any other restaurants around but the same is not kept up with taste and quality.

Its on the shore of mahabalipuram beach. Average food taste. The seafood here is a must try. Price is Expensive.customer service is too bad.

Seafoods are yummy. Try squids, crabs, french fries and even chilli chicken. Environment is nice. Have car parking and rooms.

Great ambience for sea lovers. Good service. Shore temple will be visible from here. Limited options for vegetarians. Only seafood was available. Alcohol available. I have only this picture. This tawa fish costs 300rs, but not upto the taste. Overall costly but taste wise ok.

Went for a short time like 3- 4 hrs. Breakfast is good and nice ambience with beach view. Very near to pagoda temple

Great sea-facing location. That alone makes it a good alternative to Moonrakers.

Overhyped and overpriced massively! I did not enjoy the food at all barring the masala fried prawns. Fish curry, prawns curry, egg curry were all below average. Contrary to most reviews, I found the main staff quite unfriendly. Their fresh catch was way beyond my budgets and I felt people who worry about cost aren't welcome here. I am definitely not coming back here. Only thing that does deserve appreciation is their ambience and view of the sea

This is not a fancy restaurant (neither does it pretend to be) but I absolutely love this place in Mahabalipuram. We have gone there many times over the past 7-8 years. And yes, we do drive down from Bangalore to mahabalipuram pretty often. Great shack experience, food is always fresh, especially the seafood. Try the lightly spiced / continental flavours. Nice people who always serve with a smile. Best for long lazy lunch with family and friends.

Love the place for cleanliness, staff behaviour and tasty spicy sea food menu.
Travellers can choose live sea food from the menu.
Non vegetarian should try this mouth watering menu at least once in visit to Mahabalipuram.
It has small pace of car parking facility alongside sea resort.

Ambiance is very nice but be very careful with the food you order.

One of the best sea view restaurant to taste splendid Sea food along with Bay of Bengal's peaceful sea breeze and admirable view of Shore Temple!

Food they prepare are very delicious. Perfect spot to visit every weekend because this location is right in front the sea shore. Staff's and owner are very kind. Sure will visit most of the days specially for the fresh spicy sea foods.

Wonderful place to hangout with friends, fishes and variety of seafoods available here, it is in Sea shore so you get a calm feeling, fish tawa fry is wonderful and their masala spicy taste is really good to have along with main dishes. We went there at night for dining road side restaurant is crowdy and other restaurant they have is Sea facing one that is less crowded.

Amazing rooftop dining and drinking. Great place to hang with the locals. Very friendly and accommodating to needs and wants.
