there is a difference in food, between chrompet and potheri shops

potheri balaajee is better in many aspects

but chrompet shop is no match to potheri shop
do not want to describe more about the negatives

interestingly, this chrompet balaajee bhavan maintain a strategy, that customer have to run behind different counters to get the bill for what they paid

even card payment copies are denied for me

employee at the counter behaved in a way that why you want that bill, bloody that belongs to me

so, don't expect the bill, or roam and fight for the bill

Food served fast.recently tasted south Indian meals.quality of food was ok.tatse was not to usual.decent service but food does not feel good to the price.generally crowded after 12.30 noon for lunch and 7.30 pm for dinner.takes time to deliver ordered food other than meals.decent coffee.

I placed an order over Swiggy app. The delivery time shown was 35 minutes while placing the order. Even after 1 hour they haven't prepared my order and made the delivery partner wait for more than 45 minutes. When asked they simply responded saying that there is a delay in order because of Sunday. If so, why can't you update your delivery timing on Sunday to be 1 hour? Also when asked to hotel they responded very carelessly that its because of Sunday crowd. If people who's arriving at your restaurant takes that privilege to be delivered on time, you can stop delivering the food on online order since you're not capable of handling the online order. Such a pathetic service. Definitely not going to place next order for the way you speak or provided service.

It is situated in congested area. But separate car parking area. Not enough seats. Waiting period is more.

Food is good, but service has to be improved a lot during rush hours. We need to chase every server to find out who is the server for our table.billing also a nightmare and server had to say every order he remembers to get a bill by waiting in a long queue along with other servers.

We had lunch here. The food was good. Enough parking space available at the backside of this restaurant, not many seem to be aware of this. Service was also good.

After catching the latest action-packed flick, "Jawan, " my friend and I were in the mood for some delicious veg fare. We headed to Shri Balaajee Bhavan restaurant, a cozy restaurant that promised an array of delectable vegetarian options.

A pure vegetarian pocket friendly restaurant. The food is very tasty and the restaurant serves both south and north indian cuisine. The restaurant has two ways of serving: non AC and AC. It is usually very crowded during weekends and peak hours. Swiggy and zomato delivery is also available.

Absolutely a good place for quick eat. The food tastes good and their service is always quick.

Worst experience, we were standing in a queue for a long time and dine in AC hall keeper must give preference as per queue number but he failed to do. Adding few more tables would help to tackle more customers.

Pure Veg restaurant.

The best South Indian recipes they have. Especially meals is too yum. Do not prefer or order any Chinese cuisine (fried rice is not at all good and the Schezwan fried rice was sweet in taste and not good)

Great restaurant for breakfast. I ordered the Two plates of poori and the potato MUST be improved more, Pongal with vada and masala dosa. Food taste was nice for that 3 stars and I'm not satisfied with the potato given to the poori.

I can say it is the BEST veg restaurant in that GST road. The quality, taste, service, mainly timely delivery of items even if it is fully crowded and best in price too. If you plan for any shopping in the GST road, this is the best option to go as family both for Tiffins and Lunch!

Tried tandoori meals - ordered for take away. Kesari (sweet), tomato soup, gobi starter, 2 rotis, paneer subzi, biriyani, onion raitha, 2 portions of curd rice was packed. Only gobi starter tasted good. Rest all was very average in taste. Kesari and curd rice was poor. Not worthy to try.

Good spacious place in city to dine comfortably with car parking. High class veg neatly served by white uniform persons. You have to have enough money in your pocket if you go with family & friends. Little costly for the standard of food. Felt fine and peaceful in the morning. Seen busy always to find place to dine in the evening.

The worst restaurant and the manager seen in the surrounding and the way they speak to customer thinking we ordered the food for free.but if the owners of these restaurant see this please call me so that I can share the experience of the manger and the waiter how they spoke to me.

The restaurant in Chrompet is small and the AC hall has a queue. The ambience is almost zero as there are a lot of people always in the restaurant. But the biggest plus point is the restaurant's taste. People throng to this place bcoz it is cheap and tasty. If you are looking for some simple lunch or dinner within budget, then this is the best place in Chrompet. Shri Balaajee Bhavan also delivers through Zomato and swiggy within the surrounding areas and the packaging is also good. Though they deliver through Zomato and swiggy the waiting time for the items that we order is not high.
So overall apart from the ambience it is a good restaurant.

I give 100% marks for the food quality and taste. Podi Uthappam, Pongal, Poori Kurma are really very tasty. I ordered Podi Uthappam twice as the taste was ultimate with chutney thot sambar.

Nice place to have food. It is on the main road (GST) very near to Chrompet Saravana Stores and opposite to the new Pothys Swarna Mahal. Hence this hotel is always crowded. There is a party hall broad and spacious. About food taste: I had Naan and allied dishes. I didn't feel the actual taste.

Went here for a baby shower function of a relative. The ambience was good. I need to update the prices and details of the venue. But the food was good as they had rasam. And only veg. And other varieties were also good. But the bisleri water bottle (330 ml) was like tap water. Wonder where they got it from. Other than that it was all good.

Worst service. Waiters don't address you if the dish is getting delayed. Need to wait for more than half an hour without anyone asking you if you want anything in place of the order which is getting delayed.

Hotel would ever be crowded when ever time you visit, can't relaxly eat. Menu prices are bit costlier comparing with other hotels also taste are average.

A frequent visitor to Balajee Bhavan, though didn't like much the one in Palavaram, no complaints about food though, our favorite is one in Guduvanchery, Tnagar

Located on the main road of Chromepet. About the food I have no complaints, it tasted so good. And it's a pure veg restaurant. The foods were served hot and the ambience was quite simple yet good and also the service was pretty good. Finally, the price was very nominal and there were different kinda dosa but as I've been there for the morning breakfast I couldn't try those so ordered Onion Dosa and Poori. So definitely I could give 5 stars, I didn't face any issues, well disciplined staffs

Good place to have a quick bite. Non AC room dishes are ranging from 30 until 200 Rupees. AC room menu can be a bit expensive.

Good food. Prices slightly on higher side. Once you are out of Arrivals in Meenambakkam Airport in Chennai, you will find it on your way to Pondi. Since I didn't use washroom, i cannot comment on it. Tea was better than in many other places.

Best hotel for vegetarian. Whenever I travel with my parents I always prefer this hotel because of its taste and stomach friendly. It's but costly hotel but at the same time they are maintaining the quality as well. Roof top is also there during dinner time. I always recommend this hotel for everyone. Keep it up the service and quality.
