Worst customer service. They did not offer water at first' place.
They mentioned Chapati in the Veg meals menu. However served without gravy or any sort of subji. When asked server directed to eat with kootu which is meant for rice: (Pathetic.
Offered 2tps of podi with oil.when asked to fill, he took 20 mins to refill.: (Worst customer service. Don't want to step in to Vasantha bhavan anymore.

We are your customers for decades. Really annoying to see the attitude towards giving water. Forcing to drink the bottled water. Should respect other persons choice. Some social responsibility! Not to contribute more plastic to the mother Earth. It's not a big money for you nor for the customers. Then why?

I had vegetarian meals good taste, and also ordered fried rice it came very late & chilled there is one staff to attend entire a/c room, so we have to wait even for bill

After long time after I had went to have aapam with coconut milk.but taste has reduced not except what usual I get. Even sambar quality is not that great

Worst place to visit. They took order at 2 PM for lunch and made us wait as rice was not available. Then after 40 mts they served half cooked rice. In the AC Hall on the first floor only one split AC was switched on. It was so suffocating as there was no fan or windows to open. Horrible experience.

Ambience is very old, cockroaches running here and there. A/c area doesn't have proper light, also temperature was not maintained properly. Food is just ok. Tea and coffee is better. I think non A/c is better. Can opt for takeaways. I just gave one star because of cockroaches

Always can rely on vasantha bhavan Anna nagar for the traditional South Indian dishes, never let's down. Though overall cleanliness can have room for improvement, but considering the crowd they cater, it doesn't weigh much

Vasanta bhavan at vr mall is the worst experience we had of all other Vasantha bhavans.we ordered bajji, mini idly and chole puri. 3nos in a plate, Rs. 90/-. Two chutneys
Few minutes later they came to us and said that as it is freshly prepared it will take some time. So we have to wait. We first hesitated because we were very hungry, but then agreed. Finally it arrived The plate had 3 tiny pieces that too almost burnt. Inside was a very teeny tiny plaintain slice.to our surprise the bajji wasn't hot enough too. Totally wasn't worth the wait.we were wondering why would it take so much time for these little cold pieces. In our whole life most disastrous bajji experience.

Then came mini idly. Chilled idly pieces filled with warm sambhar.sambhar was good but on what world someone serve chilled idlies.

Then chole puri.when you finger dropped on the puri it crumbled to pieces.was having a hard time finishing it. Chole was ok.

We had to pay Rs. 373 on whole. We thanked God that we left our kids at home that day.

Worst hu food, worst hu bathroom, power cut No generator, no proper response from management, never visit again to marriage hall

Went to a function and There was no generator for power backup.food taste was ok.but without power backup had to eat in drak place with sweat

A reasonably priced place to have veg food in Anna Nagar Area. They sell curries alone as well, which is really useful. Ambience and cleanliness is still a question

They need to improve their hospitality and cleaning, staffs are rude, back in 3years ago everything was excellent. However there is no compliant about their food quality and teast

Was looking for a nice place to catch up with some old friends with a light meal and a coffee, this was the best place, food was good, they had a range of menu for snacks, juices and desserts.

Not great. Has lost its charm. Place needs to be maintained and food quality improved. Efforts not to increase prices has led to not so great food.

Situated in very familiar area. Easy to find. Interior is not that much, but very good in service and tasty food

Cutlery is not cleaned or washed properly, all dirty spoons and plates. Server is bringing food on top of each other plates. Very poor service and when asked he says dirt came from his hands.

Place was decent sambar was tasty but the idly were hard for my liking. Hand wash needs sanitization

I have given one rating just because the hotel has space for parking. I was in hurry to catch a train and wanted a quick lunch. Walked in since I have heard of this brand and expected some level of quality. The first thing that i saw was a big rat running on the floor. I was stunned but didn't
have the time to make it an issue or to go in search of another hotel. We went upstairs and ordered lunch. The taste was very ordinary and food didn't taste fresh. I later got to know from my car driver that Ice cream was part of the meal but it was not served.

Food safety authorities need to check this hotel thoroughly. I strongly feel it will not comply with many requirement of the regulations.

A kind of Vintage hotel.serves good south Indian dishes with varieties of Chutneys and Podi.

There is no proper response from billing counter persons. Also there is no wheel chair facilities for disable people. This place is also not anhygiene and environment friendly. People's in cash counter didn't have any courtesy of words said to consumers if any doubts asked.

Very very poor. The dishes are very very bad given that the charge Rs. 140 for a basic meal.which is not worth more than Rs. 60.other dishes also very very poor.
Once 10 years back it was a real star.today it is miserable and day light robbery.you have many good restaurants around Like Akshayam kovai Alankar villas.etc.

Not Satisfied with the food quantity they provide. Not worth to money. Taste is also not soo Good. Think before you dine in.

Lunch non a/c is worth for Money. In AC hall upstairs not much crowd. Food taste is not good as expected.

Worst behavior, not satisfied with management, wheel chair fascility is not there for disabled persons. No one has humanity in that hotel.

Please check the coconut milk which is served with Aappam before consume I had a spoilt one. The parcel tea is priced high 35, albeit I gave flask.

Cheap and good place to eat a full south indian meal. One thing I could say the best is the service here, great staffs.

None of the dishes we had ordered was good. Honestly speaking, aloo Gobi was worst, Naan was too hard and thick to chew, paneer butter masala had the whole packet of food color in it such that my fingers and nails got discolored! The waiters were fighting in front of us!
We had wasted all the money and the food was also wasted.
I hope the concerned authorities take action to improve the food quality cleanliness and remove the unnecessary staff who just crowd the dining area.

Once it was started for Middle income group and now only the Higher income group can afford to pay the BILL - yes of course satisfying your taste buds is there.

Today I visited Vasanta Bhavan for breakfast, It was not planned I just dropped in as i was hungry on the way. I had no clue on the menu so asked the waiter if they have Mini breakfast. He gracefully nodded YES! And said there are 2 option 1 with 40 Rs and the other 100 plus (do not remember the exact price but it comes with some sweet). I asked him to serve me 40 Rs Breakfast.

Meanwhile, the only thing going in my mind was the price, if i heard it correct as the price it too low and how will be the food?

To my surprise, within 5 minutes I received my order. The presentation was amazing. The Mini Tiffin had 1 Idli, 1 Small Vada, 1 Small Dosai, a cup of Pongal, a Piece of poori and 3 Chatnies and 2 bowl of sambar (latter they offered me additional sambar which I said no).

I was convinced that it is not 40 Rs, anyways I was hungry so had it all. Food was tasty as it was presented.

Latter the waiter asked me would like have tea or coffee. I said Tea. The Tea just melted in my mouth with perfect blend of milk and tea.

I then asked him for bill, he gave me the bill for 42 (bill including tax). It was really surprising to have such a wonderful breakfast within this price range without compromising on quality and ambience.
