Worst place in the city. And it's overated on the internet. Update for the restaurant: The quality of food is what I expect, most of the dishes are raw. The tandoori platter and aloo tandoori which you recommended was the worst of all dishes, we were a group of 8 and we had almost 80% of the dish leftover even though we were hungry. Just imagine how terrible your dishes are. Naan was ok, pav bhaji, french fries, papad were terrible and gravies were really bad. Only thing that was good is the desserts (fallooda, sizzler, etc.)
Love the idea of customising the spice levels of gravies. The phel puri, starters, naan and gravies were great.
But the food did not taste good when opted for home delivery which is few blocks away from the restaurant. The naan was dry, the gravies were very cold as if they delivered old stock.
Fast service but some items were not nice like the spring roll and paneer tikka was not so nice. Their chat line up for really good and their gravies were also really good. A nice place to try some authentic North Indian food in Coimbatore but little bit on the costlier side. We were 9 people which included 2kids and our bill was 3400 only for chat starters and just one main course of naan and gravy. Vegetarians will love this place and nice ambience. Was crowded after 8 if you need to sit peacefully you need to be there by 7sh.
One of the best North-Indian hotels in town. The service was very good. Really liked the open place dine in. The "Aloo Paratha" and "Dal Makhani" were excellent. They also serve chat items which too were good. Will recommend to anyone who are looking for a typical North-Indian cuisine.
Best place in coimbatore for an authentic North Indian cuisine. Comfy dine in and it's pure vegetarian. Don't miss to try. Super friendly staff. Ask Ranjwwth for food suggestions from the service team. He's an angel will help you
Literally loved the food, ambience and service. One of the best Vegetarian restaurant with top notch presentation. Finally, my fav dish here is mushroom manchurian
Restaurants attracts people. But taste wise needs improvement. For four people it costs somewhere around 2500 if you add extra 500 you can opt for BBQ.
Really.so many good reviews for this place? They served rotten spring rolls for starters. I could get the bad smell even before it reached the table.how come the cook and servers didn't? Kulcha and dum aloo was so bad.very dangerous place for kids.will end up with food poisoning. Bad mannered servers.literally threw the plates on the table. I understand their displeasure.probably they eat the same rotten food.
The food I've no complaints about, but it was the persistent and indirect mannerisms of the staff there that made things uncomfortable. The waiter kept insisting on the fact that they were closing for the day whenever he could. We know you're closing and you just have to mention that straight up once! And decently, not indirectly! You continue this kind of hospitality, you'll close down for good.
Soup served was good. But the other dishes like biriyani etc, were not so good. Location is good. For persons looking for food after 3: 30 PM this can be a good choice
A must visit place for pucca north indian veg cuisine.dahi poori is a must try.harabara kebab best kebab ever tried in veg kebabs. But four star for the tad expensive rates
I was looking for an authentic north indian place and yari ticked everything on the checklist. A very casual ambience, amazing food and super quick service.
Nice neighborhood restaurant in SB colony. Ambience is good and simple. Kerbside parking. Covid19 appropriate SOPs followed. North Indian, Chinese cuisine available and delicious. Competitive pricing.
They have many varieties of vegetarien chats. The quantity and the ambience was good. Unfortunately, I did not like the taste of raw masalas on the tandoori platter we ordered. I liked the Italian Mushroom though.
Nice vegetarian restaurant. Quality of service must be improved. Taste was not great. Probably we were not lucky. Though we visited almost after two years.
Great food. Very much kept up both taste astute and tidiness. Respectful staff. Great feel with incredible assortment which will make a go again place for non veggie lovers moreover.so numerous assortment in Indian, Asian, Veggie lover Well disposed, Vegetarian Choices, Great café for family and will assemble capacities.
Too crowded. Takes too long for the orders to arrive. The malai Paneer tikka is worth the wait. But the other items were really not upto the mark including the naan and roti.
Good place to have North Indian food. This place offer specifically North Indian veg food. Ambience of place is really nice, sitting arrangements was comfortable and staff were very friendly. We tried only chat here and it was good. Shev poori was really nice but allow papadi was not impressive. I will definitely visit this place next time to try main course.
Bhelpuri, Chaats, Roti, Paratha, Naan, Soup, Noodles, Desserts all worth every penny spend, good ambience, spacious and hygienic too, courteous service, my choice for a vegetarian platter around saibaba colony Coimbatore
Not many good varieties are available in the menu. Though the presentation of the food the ambience of the place is good, the taste is a bit lagging! Expecting more
I had researched a lot about Veg dining places and shortlisted Yari based on the feedback/reviews and Menu in Zomato. One of the person who visited earlier also said the Zomato Menu seemed the same they had earlier.
First shock was they had only 1 page of Menu while on Zomato it was 8 pages. When enquired, the staff said no changes and I pointed the differences to which he agreed later. The staff didn't bother to ask if they should serve us. They just were chatting with the old customers and ignored us completely except for Mr. Ranjith. The food was okay and nothing much different from the other places. When I spoke to Zomato, they coolly said please confirm with restaurant next time before visiting.
Be very careful when you visit this place with regards to the food (online menu vs actual menu).
The red one is the actual Menu vs the white one which is the menu on Zomato
Had a bad experience with the food we bought here. First of all the prices are more than any other place for the food. The quality of the food is actually not that great for the price as the food feels so heavy on the stomach. We had ordered Mili Juli Sabji, which actually sounds like Mix Veg. Curry but it had a lot of Paneer in it. Being a vegetarian, I don't think everything needs Paneer in it. This is a trick used by Veg restaurants in Mumbai which makes the food heavily indigestible. Now what anyone who wants to dine/take away from here must remember is that not everyone may like the garlicky taste or may even be able to eat the Paneer in the veg gravy that is mentioned in the Menu. Overall when the food is a let down and you have to pay a lot for it. Does not seem to be a good option for good veg food. Esp in Coimbatore where are a really good food options. Hopefully the management will understand that Paneer should not be in every Veg gravy.
Food was great. Had to wait for quite some time, it being a Sunday but was well worth the wait. Service was okay but can improve. Overall good but a tad pricey.
It's in Barathi park, ambience is pretty decent and a good place for veg lovers. The serving time is bit delay but dishes worth the pay. I ve ordered for Panneer sholey tikka, panneer pepper, baby corn Manchurian and varieties of breads and panneer lababdar. All the dishes are excellent
I don't know what's so much hype about this restaurant, the food is ok, it is the ambience that is great. The menus are normal and so does the food - very expensive for the kind of taste and portion / service.
Looks like Yari. @saibaba colony.has lost the way now. The food is bad now and the worst is the service.the waiters are a pain with overdoing what is not required in serving food. Once the best paav bhaji in town is now served like a small chutney bowl.sic.
South India is is blessed with the extensive cuisine it serves but sometimes you do long for North Indian. So if you are in Coimbatore, go for it. Authentic taste. Great in service and space. Try whatever you want, you won't be disappointed. They have really good cheese kulcha. Their gulabjamun could be better and they have remived continental platter (hence one star deducted).
Excellent. Really worth it. Soooooperb food taste and quality. Such a awesomeeeeeeee service.hygiene.ambience.travelling with them for 3 years now.very consistent.
Pretty decent ambience, good food. Everything other than the fried rice items are good, special mentions to the Yari special paratha and the macaroni cheese pasta.
Good North Indian menus are available.nice place to hangout with friends and family.this has cozy chairs.clean and hygiene food served here.varties of North Indian foods are available.best place for family get-together.
Great food. We went late and during our final order friend rice was exhausted. So we order es rotis.how ever the in charge person brought us some other pulao as compensation and it was on the house. Excellent hospitality.
Wow! Feel bad that we took so long to visit this place. Absolutely fabulous food and ultra fast service. The person who served us suggested just the right dishes and made us full on the stomach and hearts too. The kitchiya papad was fantabulous! The yari special tawa pulau I relished! Veg Peshawari was awesome with the Naan and pudina wheat butter parotta they enjoyed devouring. Out of many veg experiences of ours, this has been noteworthy and made a mark in our minds.
