I'm a big fan of Akson parota, butter chicken and the chicken roast. The food is really great. The service is good. Afternoon's and weekends we need to wait for a tablet.
I recently had the pleasure to taste a South Indian Kerala restaurant food and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The highlight of my meal was definitely the fish dish. The taste was simply exquisite, with a perfect balance of flavors and spices that truly transported me to the coastal regions of Kerala.
Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also top-notch. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also worth mentioning. It had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with beautiful decor that reflected the vibrant culture of Kerala. The attention to detail in creating an authentic dining experience was truly commendable.
Overall, I highly recommend this South Indian Kerala - Askon restaurant for anyone looking to indulge in a fantastic meal. The fish dish alone is worth the visit, and the exceptional service only adds to the overall enjoyment. Whether you are a fan of South Indian cuisine or simply looking to try something new, this restaurant is definitely a must-visit.
This is that place which gives homely vibes. Best place to try authentic Kerala food. Fresh fish fry and the price is transparent. Best price. Best to dine with family.
Absolutely worth your visit. Out of the many good moments I had at Hyderabad, the best ones with food were at this place will always have a place in my heart.
They've got some really nice seafood options, primarily Kerala cuisine. We had their King Fish Roast with an additional curry on top of it, and it was very nice with few bones. Would definitely recommend it. Please ask them what is their special/fresh fish that day and take that. We also had their Chicken fry which also had nice Desi spicy flavours unlike many restaurants.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the special parotta (kerala) along with butter chicken. It's a unique restaurant where you can order all kinds of Indian cuisines. Glass windows make an exemplery view of the city and it's a must visit restaurant.
It's really an healthy Kerala good food eating experience that authentically tasted great and it was Extra-refreshing and Re-energizing to myself and I hope you will find something you love very much Thanks for the delicious best hygienic foods.
Great place to have kerala cuisine. Only caveat is there is no beef. Rest all items have good variety and taste. Prawns Biryani was good. Even their simple veg meals along with an aila fry is enough to make you feel happy. Their staff is very helpful and responsive too. Overall a good place
Was a little hesitant to take lunch after I learnt that it was a Kerala themed hotel as I was not used to kerala food. But, to my surprise, I wholly enjoyed the biriyani, parotta and chicken curry. Food tasted really good and is a well maintained restaurant.
Good decent place spacious with sumptuous delicious menu on the offer The staff is courteous and hospitable Go out of there way to make you comfortable.what else could you ask for?
Finally a place which made me feel home. It was a task to find a good malbar resturant in Hyderabad. A great ambience. A great spot to spend time with family/friends. A great food. The food here tastes more over homemade.
Great food. Specially the fresh fish choices. The owner was very forthcoming & eager to help out in selecting the dish based on our taste. I have been here twice & both times had the fish & parotha combo.
It is generally crowded during lunch times however when we went during diner, the crowd was less. They have a small dedicated parking just below their entrance.
Argubally the Best Kerala Restaurant in the Twin cities. Authentic Taste and Proper Malyali Style food and Hospitality. Decent Ambience with Fantastic Service gives it the Cream. Famous for its Parota - Chicken 65 - Prawn Masala and many more. Its a Paradise for Non Veg lovers specially One who craves for Sea food.
So nice Restaurant where u can find kerala taste. Very Good Ambiance and tasty food. Very first class Waiters who serve food. Planning to try all dishes wish they have. So I can comment again and again for others. Worth for money. I tried mutton with kerala porotta. And had one famous Nannari Sarnath also. So tasty so happy. Thank u Akson restaurant for making my dinner delicious.
Very nice dinner with my friends, food was good here special dish is fish deep fry that is also value for money. Ambience of the hotel could be little more creative but other than that, I would eat here again.service was good as well
Their kerala meals was delicious & awesome with plenty of curries just as in kerala.along we ordered prawns fry & fish fry that was also must try. Cons: Appam was a disaster. ” puttu “ & kerala poratta was just eatable neither authentic nor worth a second try.
Very popular malayali restaurant in punjagutta. It used to be a small cafe kind of place at the corner.now they have moved opp side above manyavaar. 1st floor.
Nice place to have food, for person who like to taste the Kerala style, especially to taste the Fish, parota and appam. Prices been reasonable, good place to spend with family and friends
A star less for not serving beef in a Keralite restaurant. The ambience is on point and the aroma of the food, as soon as you enter in the restaurant, feels really authentic. Flavours will certainly titilate your taste buds and the mixture of the spices is really special. The pricing feels a bit on higher side when it comes to the desserts but the food is really worth the price. One must try Chicken roast and Parotta!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Hyderabad for food and ambience. I won't say that it's authentic Kerala food but I think it's as close as you can get anywhere in Hyderabad and well, there is definitely Kappa, puttu and kothuporotta which are definitely Kerala food.
When it comes to washroom, this is not a good place and I think it's something the management need to improve. Sinks are not completely clean and I would love to have a separate toilet for women since women and men use toilets differently, i think it's more cleaner to have separate toilets.
Ordered Fried Fish, Crab, Appam and Malabar Prawns Biryani. Tried Crab and Appam for the first time, it was hard to eat Crab but it tastes good and Appam was very nice. They served Malabar Biryani with some different kind of rice and it was very nice.
In this place I have experienced best customer service till today I literally didn't expect this much best service from waiter. Seriously loved the experience waiter almost can Read my mind and funny. He saved my money during ordering
Visited 2years ago, the chicken tasted very bad. Me and my cousin complained to the person on bill counter, left the place disappointed, don't want to try again
I wonder how i missed a good restaurant like Akson after being in Hyderabad from past 25 years. I had the best Malabar paratha here. Very soft but not rubbery. Prawns fry was mouth watering. Don't forget to try their presents biryani.
Best kerala food in the locality. Old one is bit small and often feel congested. This new location is very nice and spacious with good interior decoration. Parota and Egg curry are the most selling items here. Chicken and fish are also good. Biryani is bit different, unlike hyderabad dum biryani the rice used is different and cooking method is totally different. Some may not like it. So be prepared before ordering. Do try Nannari in summer. Overall it is a place where we eat on and on and on.
Nice restaurant I Went with friends on Saturday. Ambiance is good. Prices are affordable fish that I tasted wasn't so good. Chicken Manchuria is alright, then we ordered boneless mutton Biryani tasted so delicious. Waiter argued over changing plates from starter to main course still got what I wanted. On very next Sunday I took my friends to have that nice homely pulav alike biryani but this time it tasted ok to me but my batch enjoyed it. Thankfully we didn't had any starters though I saw some other customers enjoying their starters. Guess what the guy who served us on Saturday was the Same one on Sunday with that sad mustached face but still we felt satisfied with his behaviour this time. Let's see how it'll feel next time. Bubye have a great meal.
If you are a keralite craving for some kerala dishes or someone who wants to try some kerala food then this is the perfect place for you. The restaurant is located on roadside. You can reach here by metro getting down at irum manzil or Panjagutta. If you are coming by bus get down at NIMS. The restaurant serves good quality food at a moderate price. It will cost you around 150 to 200 for a stomach filling experience. They provide dishes like kappa, puttu, appam, fish curry etc. However beef is not available on most days. The food quality and quantity are great. I personally recommend this restaurant than Malabar (another kerala restaurant located at Nampally)
Said to be a good kerala hotel. Atmosphere, neatness are all good. About the food its fresh, taste wise is average. But then you ll get kerala foods. Rate is also affordable.
