It's my all-time favorite place for chineese food. I've been visiting here for a very long time. Food is very tasty, and the menu is widespread. The quality of food is also good. Try everything if u can. I recommend their fried rice with diced chicken and appollo fish.
Food tasted really good. U have to spend 1-2 hour there because ur order takes too much time to deliver on ur table. Really we waited around 30-40 min just to receive one order then again 30-40 min to receive another order. Food is good but they really need to work on our waiting time
Tasteless food. Was here for dining. I would never recommend any one to go here.chicken Fried rice was oily.garlic chicken was tasteless and smelly. Prawns were bad.chicken corn soup was tasteless. Apollo fish was okish.chicken brumstick (wings) and chicken pakoda were nice. Taste not worth the prices mentioned.
There are some places that give you nostalgic feeling. This place is one of those. Whether it be the food, service or the atmosphere, everything is love. If you're there don't forget to try the chicken American chopsuey. It is one of their signature dishes that you won't get anywhere.
Food taste is average.coming to ambaince is below average it can be maintained well. Even food taste can be improved.serving of the food is not at all good i would not suggest anyone to visit.
An old restaurant serving for decades. They serve you authentic tastes and egg varieties are a must try. Affordable place, best place to visit with friends.
They say it's a Chinese restaurant but definitely not an authentic Chinese. I won't refer this restaurant for Chinese cusine enthusiastics I would rather ask them to try Chinese in any random multicusine restaurant.
One of the oldest Chinese restaurants. Going there from last 15 years. But from last 1 year, taste is not all good and lost its authenticity. I will never visit there again.
Delicious Chinese food! Must try if you're around. Both vegetarian & non vegetarian restaurant. It's pretty old and well known restaurant in Chinese food category. Mostly busy on weekend evenings. It's not so big but can accommodate around 40 persons at a time. Parking is not a problem.
Decent Ambience. Service was rather quick which could be due to the odd hour and a weekday. Starters were just about average including the soups. American Chop suey was sweeter than it should be. Must Try: chicken soft noodles. Right amount of spices. No oil or grease at all. Loved it. They don't serve any kind of desserts which is weird. But luckily there is a ice cream parlor right across the restaurant. Note: they don't have dedicated car parking. So good luck finding a place for your car in the main road of Himayat Nagar.
Pathetic food. We had golden fried prawns. It was really bland. Chicken drumsticks were just okay. Vegetable fried rice was bad too. Totally disappointed.
Ambience: 5/5 It is spacious enough. I am actually quite surprised why I didn't notice this place before eventhough we roam around in the centre of the city alot. I got to know about this place from a friend of mine. It's more of a family place.
Food: 3/5 Crispy corn: 1/5 It wasn't good. Crispy corn were sticking around to each other. The taste was quite different than usual. I suggest not to try
Machow Soup: 3/5 Its average.
Manchuria: 4/5 I liked the Manchuria here. It's perfectly cooked. Neither chewy nor hard.
Price: 4/5 It's reasonable according to the place where it is located, food quality and ambience.
Service: 4/5 They don't take much time to serve your order.
I liked the way the menu was sticked inside the glass top. This way, we can avoid touching the menu, which is quite a kind of precaution from covid.
Takeaway food! Ordered Veg Fried Rice, Veg Manchow soup, Veg Fried Noodles. Food was decent and better than many similar places. Recommend you to visit it
It is one of the authentic old Chinese restaurants in twin cities with wide verities of Chinese dishes available. I like non veg American Chop suey but veg is also tasteful. Always try different verities of whatever is not available in other small Chinese restaurants/fast food centres. Though the ambience is not so good but the interior design is excellent. Now a days, I could see no waiting in the reception area (post Covid).
Went to have momo’s it yummy tasty, pricey when compared to other places where we get 190 rps for 8 pieces. The place was neat the staff was good got momos in 10 mints of placing order. Would go again for taste.
It was good that's it and if you guys like spicy food then that's not the place you go because all the food is just decent not spicy at all but overall I liked the chicken soup
Superb place where you can find peace and you will definitely enjoy your food. One of the most known place in himayath nagar. Best place to have lunch, dinner with frnds and family
Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Hyderabad if not the best.their version of Chinese Chicken Chop suey is the best i have tasted, even their MOMO'S are very much tasty.if you are in and around himayatnagar do try Alex Kitchens once, i am sure u will love it.
Alex's Kitchen is a nice place, food is nice and also very feasible. You have many variaties for the Chinese food. It's worth spending and coming! Best part the restaurant respects customer and the food too.
Hidden from view. Ground Floor of a commercial complex. Best for Hakka Noodles and Fried Rice and Hot & Sour & Sweet Corn Soups. Huge portions. Reasonable prices. As the servings are huge, 2 persons can make do with each portion. If one is shy of doing this, a better option is the take-away. Average for per person works out to about Rs. 300.
A restaurant that started its journey in 1984 has attracted the Hyderabad citizens with its tasty Chinese food which is reasonably priced. It's a cozy restaurant with friendly service from "Hindi only" speaking staff. I have been a regular ever since it threw its doors open. Many of its customers are sticking with it for a long time. Though parking is a bit of a challenge, the food taste will take care of it.
The old charm of this Chinese restaurant is slowly fading, the last time we went there we ordered veg corn soup & manchow soup, there was a hair strand in veg corn soup, the manchow soup also was not that great, then in starters we ordered mushroom Manchuria it was spicy & not tasty. Lastly in main course we ordered veg noodles it was salty.so overall we went there with lot of expectations and we're horribly let down
I have been an ardent customer to.this place.for the last 3 decades at least. Only problem with them.is they haven't changed the menu in the last 30 years nor.the taste. Things eveved but Alex is one place that clock just got stuck with them. They changed their interior's other than that same menu staff and attitude.
We’ve been going for many many years and I have fond memories with friends and family.over the years the taste although good, is seldom consistent and there were bitter visits too! All in all, I still go here for dinner once in a few years.a little wait time, compactly arranged tables, courteous staff, good Chinese food.what more can we ask for! Cheers!
