Loved this place for its food! Had babai idli, onion dosa, and ravva onion dosa. Everything tasted so good! Although the sambhar was sweet in taste. But otherwise the food was good and prices were nominal.
This place is known for its collection of 6 chutneys that they serve. One of the best places for south Indian food, but they miss out on other traditional items like Bisi bele bath, rasam rice, Tamarind rice. Instead they strive to be a multi cuisine restaurant having chinese and north Indian items on the menu
Good place for enjoying South Indian dishes through the day, while being able to dine in comfortably with good service. Food choices and quality was good. The food court is usually crowded and there is a lack of space to dine in. Chutneys comes as a pleasant blessing. Prices seemed relatively high though.
Its extremely costly, 160 rs for white water in the name of buttermilk. And it was not even worth of 20rs. I am not going again for sure. The problem is not 160 for buttermilk but the quality is. And even the ambiance is not good, i mean, the walls and the setup is not clean. Definitely not going again.
Worst service and food, ordered coffee and found Mosambi seeds in it… Taste of the coffee was horrible and I was surprised after having it why do they even called it as a cold coffee. Don’t ever dare to try cold coffee in this outlet… Chutneys Inorbit…
The food here is top notch with authentic South Indian taste. You can really enjoy all the items and staff is too courteous and that's a reason you will try to go there time and again:)
Chutneys is a multicuisine restaurant for namesake. However, it even fails to cater south indian food properly. The sambar they served us was too thick to be called a sambar, the dosa was average, no difference when compared with some tiffin center's. They serve us 7 different chutneys, but only 2 of them are good. It is quite expensive as well. The only thing which stood out was the Chinese starter. I would not recommend this to be a regular visit, but giving it a try once will not be a bad idea.
Good old Chutneys but with one less chutney on offer. It used to be 6 varieties that attracted all hyderabadi s dosa, idli, vada lover, now 5 varieties are available. Yet, old is gold. Food is delicious and service superb. A warm hospitality make trips memorable.
Been a Customer for over 22 years. Visited inorbit Branch and the Thali which started after a 3 year gap tasted worst than it can ever be. Food taste and quality levels have good gone down the drain. High time they get their act together to reinstate the lost reputation.
Too expensive for the value delivered, the restaurant staff don't have any idea about the items they serve, poor quality compared to past, the range of products offered is limited to what it was before
The food taste was nice and it was pleasant ambience. Am giving 4 start bcos of the cost. The cost was very high.that's the only concern here. Apart from that nothing else.
Chutneys as the name is, there are different kinds of chutneys you need to try and the special items on the menu are amazing. It was good but not as good as before, like it was amazing a few years back. Overall I would say they maintain the same taste in their chutneys.
Specially requested to expedite the plain dosa for my 4 yr old nephew and it took so long to come. First they messed up the order by bringing rawa dosa which we did not order. When they fixed the order 45 mins later. They got 3 dosas instead of 4. Not recommended during rush hours'and holidays. They couldn't expedite one order of plain dosa for a kid. Let alone adults. They could do or say nothing except sorry.
Had an occasion to visit the "Chutneys" at Inorbit mall, Hyderabad on 25th Sept 2021 at late evening around 21.45 hrs.
This is the place standing at the bottom of the 'Chutneys' ladder. Avoid going to this place as far as possible. It's on the food court cluster of the mall and there are many other options which you may not get outside this mall. But Chutneys are many in town.
Chutneys have many outlets in Hyderabad and are best known for their food quality and service besides the locations. One can easily drive down to any of their nearest joint closer to inorbit, rather than going to their eatery in this mall.
The quality of the food items are not at par with those in their other places. And if you happen to enter this place late in the evening, say around 10.00 pm, their chutneys which is their USP are likely to be not available. Many items on menu are not available. Only a limited items are served and the quality of these items are also not as they are famous for.
Probably, the chefs, waiters, staff are in hurry or anxious to close the shop and go home sooner and therefore may not be in mood or in a proper frame of mind to churn out quality product as they are known for. You are most likely not to get good food.
Strictly avoid going to Chutney, Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad if you are late for dinner. In any case their other places in Hyderabad and this place are different from each other in so far as quality of food and service are concerned. And yeah, you also pay more here than at their other joints. It's not VFM here.
The sad part of the story is, if any one is visiting the "Chutneys" for first time and that happens to be late evening in their Inorbit mall joints, one may surely be in, to form unfavorable opinion about the "Chutneys" Hyderabad. Let it not happen to you. And to the "Chutneys" too.
P. S: I had a lunch at Chutneys, Punjagutta, Hyderabad and was so pleased, I took some items (Vegetables) parcelled and carried to Mumbai for dinner with family.
The waiting time was tto long and after the long wait they were out of most of the items on the menu. The place is usually good but my advice is to not go there if it is is very busy
It's a very big restaurant with different sorts of foods and cusines available. You can have a great lunch and can dine with your family and friends. P. S: Must try dosa there with different chutneys available.
It's menu is more Chinese than South Indian. Thali was discontinued, Vadas only available till 4 PM. Nothing unique in South Indian dishes as well.disappointing.
Waste of money.such high prices om what basis they are charging. Palak or any veg curry 350 Any starter ia 375 Chole batuta 250 Coffee 88 Are we eating food in space?
One of the worst experiences ever had, thought of good Chain of hotels which maintain hygiene, quality and service. On 28/3/21 went to have dinner at this hotel, ordered for idly and ghee Karam dosa. The chutneys were already getting smell of stinking, the banana leaves weren't cleaned at all, they served the food in those leaves only, when we raised a question about this, they were putting a question mark face and saying sorry, no one at the level of supervisor or manager didn't address it. Better not to visit this chain of hotels for the next time, in my personal opinion.
I personally like Chutneys and visiting the restaurant from past 10 years. But today's experience was pathetic and even haven't taught so. Being the first experience after this pandemic, visited with complete family. All of my family members were disappointed with the food quality. None of the chutneys which were served are good in taste, looks 2 days old food was served. Really disappointed. Looks Chutneys brand will take a beating.
Generally it's very good. But last time, one of us saw a small insect in roti, which we can generally find in wheat flour. We called the manager and he was offering se number of rotis again, which we didn't want because it's the same wheat flour! Other items were really good!
Chutney is among the most popular South India restaurant with North India Cuisine and other quick bite options. Very famous for six variety of Chutnies (Natural Ingredients with Mixed Spices or Sausage). One should try this once with Idly it's all together a different experience. Rasam and Sambhar are add on to the taste.
Huge seating, good service, sophisticated classy ambience.
