We had a buffet dinner here. The price is so nominal. Pure vegetarian buffet with no of varieties. The food tasted good and it didn't spoil the stomach even for the kids. They started with the welcome drink, soups, starters, chaat items, dosa varieties, naan, roti, pulao, biriyani, 4 - 5 curries, veg meals and the desserts - so many options with good taste. Especially the moongdhal halwa and gulab jamun.

The atmosphere is very pleasant with the background music. Had a very good time with family. They didn't even charge my 5 yrs old niece. The vegetarians will enjoy this place. They charged 600 and GST on Friday night. Valet parking is available. Overall

I specifically came to write review here buffet in taj it's a worst idea they will charge around 650 for our veg it's not at all worth at all, worst times, worst taste

It is pure veg restaurant. Food items in buffet are not so good are not so bad. Dessert's is good. Live counter is there and also live music too. Ambience is ok.

Very bad service. Takes one hour to deliver. Ordered food, if not available is not informed to the customer. But they get the curry of their choice.

A good restaurant with reasonable prices (550 for buffet) with decent range of food items. Quality and Quantity of food was good, but could be better. Friendly staff and excellent service. Ambience was fine with comfortable wooden seating. Special mention to the flutist for the pleasant music.

Previously when we had dinner we had great experience food was too tasty but today when we had dinner the ambience was not that good also food was bit at all tasty. I did not like the taste a the all adding to it ice cream they offer for buffet is not good. Overall today I am no where satisfied completely disappointed

Food was good little concern should be given for the cleanliness. There were more mosquitos more concern should be taken regarding the health of the family customers

Better not to visit after 1.30 PM on week end days, as you feel too much crowdy, dishes getting emptied fast, some visitors taking food around the buffet table itself (looks embracing), staff not bothered to request the visitors, to get them seated and enjoy the lunch. Earlier they used to put more varieties of dishes but it is not the same case now. Food bowls, supplementary item bowls, left empty, and they are not filled promptly (may be items got exhausted) They are more interested in putting more sweet items, as it is very easy to arrange, at any point of time. There is no meaning in welcoming the visitors after 2.30 PM, when food items are almost exhausted. Even welcome drinks / soup / starters are also not to up to the mark. Popular soup items are not kept on the menu. Disappointed much, today. I have great expectations from Taj TriStar. Expect the management to take corrective steps.

The best place in Hyderabad for vegetarian buffet. The staff is absolutely amazing. The most underrated vegetarian restaurant in Hyderabad.

I have been going to dakshin since last 10 years.be it for a extented family outing or private dinner.dakshin lays out a unforgettable feast. Tasty food, great music and service.

Even to take orders it took 15 minutes and supply took 15 minutes for each and every course to supply it will take 15 minutes fed-up with service, half way we left hotel paying full amount, we went back home prepared meals and had.thre were only two supplies to attend twenty gusts we can't blame servers only management is responsible for the mess up, even to get the bill after repeated reminders we got the bill, after 15 minutes, really disgusted

Ordered a South Indian sampoorna thali and it was the worst ever. The buttermilk was stale and when I brought it to the managers notice he said it's jaljeera! Dint buy it. A lot of Andhra mess' serve amazing, authentic meals at half the price and double the satisfaction.

The quality of the restaurant has gone so low it cannot be even considered one of the decent restaurants in the city. The quality of food is decent but the sanitization part isn't even close to average. The dishes served are incomplete in regard to the description on the menu. I had ordered an ice-cream sundae and 50% of the described product was missing. When asked the staff told we don't have those material. When asked for thali, their answer was "it's over" and mind I went at 1: 20pm. This isn't the kind of service expected from a Taj Mahal restaurant.

Real vegetarian heaven, this restaurant has only veg buffet with a price of 400/- incl taxes. The variety they give at this price tag is immaculate. Better to commute by cab. You will get cab within a min on booking. When you visit for the first time, feel free to look at menu first. Desserts are mind blowing. Visit by 1230 to 1300 hrs for enjoying the great taste for longer duration.

Good buffet if not excellent. Pure vegetarian. Not much of varieties available as others. But a bit karnataka style can be sensed. Bisibelebath is an example.

I have been to celebrate our first anniversary. Food was awesome. I loved it. Ambiance was soooo good.

The quality has reduced as compared with the year 2016. The items also they have reduced. Not worth paying RS. 425 per meal on week end.

Very very poor taste. Poor Ambience. Selection of soups very bad. Starters Gobi Manchurian is saggy. No onions. No raw vegetables today. Reminded them three times for starters. Their authentic dish bisibelabath made very poor. Display of items very poor. Waste of time and money. Will give Ohri's Begumpet 100 % and Taj Tristar 25%. Hope they will improve atleast for the charges they put.

Great veg Buffet Restaurant in Secunderabad, i been visiting there regularly from past 15 years, quality and taste been maintained, with good ambiance, value for money.good for groups, excellent service.

Had Buffet Breakfast for the first time. Food was good (not so great) but placement was pathetic, accompaints were missing. Replenish the servings was not on time.

Good taste is available. Located at good commercial centre. For lunch in groups is preferred. Welcome eatables are also served. At increased prices of all the rate charged is not much. Varieties of vegetable curry, dal, ice cream are placed.

The buffet dinner was good. Even though the spread was less it justifies with the cost of the individual buffet (400/-) for which they are charging.

Break fast buffet is a disaster. Filter Coffee was very light. Strawberry milkshake wasn't tasty and idli wasn't cooked. Overall disappointed.

If you love to have some authentic South Indian food then this should be your stop. It is indeed one of the best places that serves South Indian food.

Served two soups namely
hot ginger, broccoli cream.
Followed by two starters one I remember was with cauliflower.
Both of these are served on table.
Equally have good salads and Pani Pori options.
Not to forget the wonderful soft cheese sandwich.domt forget to try this.

It is a popular place eating place. Buffet lunch and dinners are served here. Soup, starters, Nan, white rice, curd rice, noodles, dahi wada, yellow rice, sambar, rasam is served with sweet dishes like rasogolla, barfi, gulab jamun, pastries and ice cream. Sometimes you can get even pani puri.

This is the one and only hotel in Secunderabad which offers you a multiple variety of veggie buffet lunch. It's a pure veg hotel with good ambience and an extraordinary taste

Worst serving on 8th of October. No response from the waiters even after calling several times. Most of the food items were already over.

Never go this restaurant for Buffet if it's close to 2.30PM. They will not fill any empty dishses but charge you full amount. The waiters r useless and r not bothered to refill.

Worst place to go for Lunch at around 2.30PM. The Display Board says 'Buffet Available till 3.30PM', but at 2.30PM itself half the items were empty and remained empty. No proper starters, main course, or desert. Taste was average. Service and Quality has deteriorated considerably.

One can get all the food he wants from soup to desserts, varieties of appetizers, varieties of flavoured rice and the list goes on.
I had one of the best soups in the world, it was simply delicious. It was cream of corn soup.
The taste of all the dishes is simply superb.
I would definitely come back again and again for the wonderful buffet.

1. Quality and quantity is very good for buffet.
2. Price is fine but might be little overpriced.
3. Staff members are professional.
4. Live music during weekends.

Cons:

1. Parking for 4 wheelers might be an issue.
2. Waiting area can be improved in terms of fans/AC facilities.
3. Huge waiting time during weekends. I would recommend do a prior booking if your lunch/dinner falls over the weekend.

The best veg fine dining restaurant in Secunderabad with wide variety and nice ambience. Cost is also reasonable for the services provided. One should go only when is quite hungry else you will not justify the cost!

The senior waiter took our Order at 11pm and told us to order anything in the menu soon as the kitchen was above to close. After taking the order, he got the food to the table and informed us that few items are not available. He also told the kitchen is closed, Wen we opposed saying he should have informed us before, he behaved very rudely, arrogance, Constantly asked us to leave the restaurant. This behaviour was intolerable and action should be taken, as we all were women who came there to eat. If you don’t have certain items then tell it in the beginning, not after getting the order on the table. Bad behaviour, Bad hospitality, bad serving by the Senior waiter who took our order.
