Deccan Serai Hotel, HITEC CITY

Experience an arrogant staff with the least sense of hospitality and an extreme commercial perspective ignoring the sensibilities. The worst hotel experience is well presented here.

Very costly, But Highly recommended for a family stay.
Very clean room and well maintained.

I stayed in Deccan serai hotel, hitec city Hyderabad for 3 days. It was really good, very cozy rooms, clean and quite good service. Restaurant provide awesome breakfast, I really loved the food and varieties. Quite walkable distance from Mindspace software companies like, Cognizant, IBM, Wipro etc. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a pleasant stay with Deccan Serai. They even allowed us early check in. Very polite staff. Neat rooms and excellent food. Would stay here again

The wifi is good for wfh, service is also good. But got some kind of disturbance (huge sounds) in the morning

Excellent hotel, situated in prime location, prompt room service, keen on cleanliness, well-spoken staff, breakfast is also good. Liked everything about the hotel. I had a good stay of 4 days. I will chose this hotel if I visit Hyderabad again.

I had buffet dinner from this hotel recently. The dinner was really good. They included different varieties of dishes for both vegetarians as well as non vegetarians. The starters were awesome especially the fish nuggets. Chicken 65 was also really good. The main course included phulka with mutton and fish curry, chicken biryani and fried rice. Those who want to experience the food but don't want to book rooms here should confirm their booking for the buffet dinner early.

It is not safe for girls. I and my fiance had a stay at this hotel where we had a very bad experience. The maintenance supervisor barged into room with master access card while my fiance was changing her dress. On complaining to the management about incident, they were trying to defend supervisor and we're trying to compensate with free lunch.
Worst management and manager who don't have guts to fire the supervisor for his mistake.
If u r moving into this hotel it's on ur own risk.
The shameless supervisor had no regret for his mistake.

It is a very good business class hotel. The location of the hotel is great. The room we were allocate has a decently spacious & the bathroom is clean and tidy. Wi-fi is complimentary & works fine. Room service is great. Breakfast has a decent spread and the dinner buffet is also delicious to eat. But due to COVID-19 gym is closed. The few flaws which I found are limited parking space and NO VISITORS policy (by the way they didn't inform me while I checked in). I had a guest coming in to meet me from a long way and they have denied access saying they are implementing NO VISITOR policy due to pandemic. I had conveyed them that they didn't inform me at the front desk of even the same isn't there anywhere in their terms and conditions. Then they correct their mistake and gave access to my guest for an hour or two. But being a 4 star hotel they should have been informing of such policies so that we can avoid embarrassing situations in front of guests. I would have given a 5 star if it wasn't for such mishap. All in all I had a good to great experience.

Attended friend marriage here and they didn't provide parking, had to park on the street. Hall is clean and maintained nicely, and food was good.

I had a decent experience staying here for a couple of days. The staff are cordial and the maintenance of rooms is pretty impeccable. The food at the in-house restaurant is also quite satisfactory.

Stayed here for a night with my wife (as my society was not going to have electricity due to some maintenance work).

Room was OK. Not that great compared to the price we paid (3k for one night).

No items in the room refrigerator. (Atleast could have put some chocolates, beer etc.)

My washroom lights were not turning on. I ignored it as I was staying only for a night and checked-in late night. But I expect the management to check everything before handing over the room.

Window of the room was facing another nearby apartment. Not a good view.

My biggest disappointment was the buffet breakfast. It has very limited items (Idly, Vada, Puri and breads etc). No pancakes, paranthas (north indian items).

At this budget, I would not prefer staying at this hotel again.

While the hotel is good in general, the covid related protocols are not followed. Saw many guests in restaurant and lobby without mask. One star goes for that and 2nd star goes because I specifically asked for twin bed room while booking which they didn't give at the time of check-in. Apart from these 2 - hotel is neat, rooms are good and location is just great

It's a good budget hotel.in the heart of Raheja Mindspace.within walking distance of offices and Madhapur. Very clean and well maintained.

Good to be here for 10 days. Budget hotel with very good complimentory breakfast. Visitors are not allowed in the room. Hot water available. I had included dinner also. Got good deal from goibibo.

Very bad hotel to visit. Basic facilities are missing. Meeting Rooms doesn't have good acoustics. External noise will keep on disturbing you. Food options are also not that great.

Went an business trip to Hyderabad what an accommodation in the High tech city the rooms are sooo good and clean and their services are too good #worth for the money. #10/10

Nice place in the prime area. Clean and well maintained rooms. Nice gallery. Gallery railings are little bit low in height so cautious advise for family with kids. Nice restaurant and lounge. Good for business travellers.

Looking for a great place to stay in Hi-tech city Hyderabad. Deccan Sarai is just for you. Walking distance from Mindspace IT Park, lavish rooms, awesome food and everything you are looking for.

Not so good. Small Rooms. Poor Room Service. Food taste is good, but the menu will be the same. They won't change the menu. We actually get better hotels at these prices. Definetely not recommended for people who want to have a long stay. Only Positive is the location of this hotel.

The staff at Deccan Serai were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hallways have an open air concept that allows for a nice breeze on a hot day. The location is perfect as it has several "street food" vendors and restaurants located within meters from the front door. I would highly recommend a stay at the Deccan Serai.

Great place for business stay as well as family vacation stays. Only thing that needs improvement is food taste.

Decent ambience. Peaceful area despite living in mid of city. Located near hitech city, the heart of hyderabad. Definitely i should appreciate their breakfast wen it comes to lunch n dining. Felt safe n secured in odd timings inspite of my long stay in hotel. Heartful service n grateful management.

Everything about the hotel is good.
1. Location - It is very close to the main road of the city.
2. Room - The rooms are very spacious and clean.  
3. Service - The hotel staff is well behaved and they provide an excellent service.
4. Food - The breakfast, lunch and dinner were perfect and they have a large variety of cuisines.  
Very Clean. Always have water bottles available. Courteous and helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi. TV has plenty of English movie channels. In-house eating is excellent. I may not have this in perspective, but seems expensive by Indian standards in excess of quality. It’s great hotel, but not as great as expected from cost. This may just be metropolitan India up-charge.

Stayed here during Dec 2018 for two weeks on a business trip. Let me share the positives and then the negatives. Positive, definitely the location is convenient with all IT business around, easy access. The hotel has a scan at the entry, but they never scanned me. Looks like this scan is a compliance and no value in this. Room is not great, very congested and no balcony at all (I stayed in Level 3 and the view is very bad from the room). The bath room needs lot of attention. The shower water flows in to the room, if you are not careful. The door for the shower does not close and the water seeps in just like that. If you order any food from room service, the plates are never taken off until you ask and remind them. They only clean it next day, causing further issues with the space is so limited. The breakfast is great, wide variety, but the same menu day after day. The chutneys are the same - Tometo, Coconut and ginger. No change in the menu, got bored up. The reception and the courtesy is not great.they always try to charge for each of your requests. The hotel staff need to learn how to show courtesy to customers. The laundry service speed is good, but if you do not remind them, they would never drop the laundry.
Overall, except for the location, I would not recommend this hotel. Not for families (no way). I was not happy with the hotel courtesy and I would never stay here again.

Won't recommend this hotel to family and couples. I checked in and moved after two days, ordered breakfast and the restaurant told they can't deliver the paid breakfast to the room and if they will deliver it will take 1 hour, informed the same to reception they told they can't help. Fair enough.
Ordered dinner, I called up the front desk and asked them to send plates and spoons, they informed that I have to come down to the restaurant and collect, they can't send it. Despite calling several times, they were adamant and rude. Finally, I managed without plates as I was tired to go down and get the plates myself.
Lastly ordered cut fruits (150 Rs.) only watermelon and papaya were provided which were mixed with poha and remains of idli, were over riped and were in bad shape as if it was 4-5 hours old. Informed the same to the restaurant manager, he told we can't exchange and you will be charged for the same whether you take it or not.
I will never book this hotel again and will not recommend to anyone.

Very good veg restaurant around the Hi-Tech city.hotel also the nice place to stay. It is under TATA brand so no compromise in quality. Hospitality is good.

Deccan Seria Hotel has a very modern architecture. Located next to westin, it is certainly giving it a tough competition. The food there is delicious and the rooms are well maintained.

Went to Palato here. Very courteous staff, good quality food. Opted for the buffet. Everything was good here. Delicious pizzas and chicken wings. Great kiwi drink.

Most irresponsible management, third class management.and very arrogant staff.hope the higher authority rectifies this!

Lots of power issues. Power keeps getting off and on. Also slow roomservice and very bad management staff.

Dosent allow visitors to the rooms. Had a event for which I had to get my make up done so I called my person to do the make up, they asked her to do in the lobby. What a cheap management.

Nice business hotel with all basic necessities. Clean and hygiene is well maintained. Rooms are not very big but fairly good. Breakfast has fairly good spread.

I was expecting a way better service. But was quite okay. The complimentary breakfast they provide are very basics as there are certain same range of hotels who provide exemplary breakfasts with variety of choices. The room was very spacious with a balcony and is always good to spend time there in early mornings.
