Hello, I am Azhaar bibi noushaiba from mauritus, since i was 6 years old I have a condition that is called Fribromalagia, and chronic abdominal pain with some time constipation and diarrhea but never been diagnosed till i got 18 years.i was finally diagnosed in south africa during my studies, I have been suffered 15 years, now I am 22 years old, I was on methotrexate for last 3 years, I have been taken cortisone 10 mg twice daily, and with so much of NSAIDS. I got relief for only one week and again same pain After suffering soo much and due to not knowing the illness, doctors gave me too much medication to reduce the pain a little bit so I can carry on my daily life but although not eating soo much, the medication caused me to be obese and have non alcoholic fatty liver Due to the fibromalagia, I can't movie easily in the house nor do my daily life work, My headache is soo bad, Fortunately i came to know AIG hospital in Nov 2021, I came for treatment Dr said it is better to have biariatic surgery because my weight is too much, the fatty liver also will get better and my complications also will reduce In May 2022, I came to aig and met Dr abhishek, he is very very nice and patiently answer all your question, he explains you everything And due to my BMI is 47.8 and my weight is 127 kg which is too obese so he suggested to have a mini gastric bypass The operation went smoothly and successfully completed As I have too much pain for my Fribromalagia, i had to stay one week in the hospital After one week of surgery I lost 7 kg, Now I am perfectly fine and problem even the IBS. I was 150 kg with blood pressure and fatty liver with initial diabetes. Dr Abhishek did bariatric surgery, gastric bypass on me on 22 January 2021, they screened me for civic before surgery. I had very fast recovery after surgery, whole surgery was done with laparoscopy or keyhole surgery. I started walking within few hours after surgery. There was no pain after procedure.
