I am from maharashtra so basically food quality was very bad with worst service. Very disappointed with kamats hotel. Staff should know how to treat customer. Thank you so please do go.

Food quantity is very less considering the amount we are paying.
Many menu items were simply not available at evening time, so limited choice available.

Visit for best idli vada and other South Indian varieties 1 star less as interior needs upgrade rest food and everything is fine

Bearers not attending tables immediately. Customer has to look for bearer for about 10 mins. TABLES ARE NOT CLEANED PROPERLY. AFTER CUSTOMERS EAT, TABLE IS NOT CLEARED FOR ABOUT HALF AN HOUR.

Ordered Idli sambhar from Zomato.discovered cockroach in sambhar. Never expected this from Kamat.you restaurant needs thorough cleaning.

Great place to dine in for breakfast, reasonable price great tea, good staff, good cleanliness little but waiting time but worth it.

Decent food in taste. Good service. AC dining room is dark and lights can be improved. Also, tables are placed very closely that you cannot speak with each other on your table without getting disturbed by others chit chat. Overall good place to have lunch or dinner when you are hungry and you can't wait to go somewhere else.

No one can beat this restaurant in south indian veg restaurants category. Quick to serve, food is delicious.

Staff talking is very very bad I told to chasier he also accepted servers also they are telling shortage of staff

Named after kamat, so mumbiakar may feel tha it's a branded hotel of Kamats' from Mumbai. We also felt tha, and entered this restaurant for dinner.
As per budgeted rate of cost, it's all okay. Food was average in taste. But seems a restaurant is very old as per it's ambience, and local people must be having routine Melas here too, as everyone believed on Old Is Gold.

Better when compared other hotels nearby, they also have AC seating available. Service and quality of food is good for the price

Do try their special thali for bathini fish treatment people. Enough quantity to fulfill 2 people and awesome tastewise.

Great place for meals. Nice taste and nice service. My family enjoyed Thali here. Being Maharashtrians we were tired of eating rice food like biryani and idli. We were in search of good food and we got it Kamat. It is just beside Nampally railway station. Worth a visit.

Excellent service! Perfectly clean place. The head waiter let us have complimentary chapatis (in our South Indian meals) as a compensation for not asking beforehand whether we wanted Pooris or Chapatis.: P
