I had visited Dr. Vinay Ram for severe tooth ache for myself and dentures for my father. I suffered a lot since the pain was spreading to nasal and eye level. Usually for tooth ache I have seen doctors prescribing pain killers and local application creams. Unusually, Dr. Vinay had taken a local X-ray and examined that there is a small decay between two teeth and that some calcus has been piled up. He said simple cleaning would solve the problem in 2 days and said no medication required. He carefully cleared all the calcus and resolved the decay and I'm very happy that my tooth ache has vanished on exactly 2 days as he assured.
My father is a 62 year old diabetic heart patient and was very scared of getting his teeth removed. He was suffering with shaking and decayed tooth all on upper jaw for many years now. Hesitantly he came along with me. Dr. Vinay counselled my dad patiently for half an hour, showed him the X ray of the bone and how it's getting damaged by retaining the decayed teeth. He explained clearly the need to attend to the problem to prevent further aggravation. My dad who was very adamant for years, understood and got convinced. Dr.removed the teeth with great deal of attention and care. My dad being a anxiety person had tremors after the treatment. But with all the counseling, moral support and push given by Dr. Vinay he could gather strength and he walked back home happily. We are eagerly looking forward for getting his dentures placed.
