Perfect place for a candle light dinner. The outdoor seating overlooks the Durgam Cherruvu, so it's ideal for a romantic date or simply to chill with friends.
The food is on the pricier side, but the portion sizes are justifiable for it. Options are limited, even for non vegetarian.
We tried the tomato based soup and mushroom croquettes for the starters and they were brilliant. The Thin crust chicken pizza was tasty and more than sufficient for 2. We ended with the OB sundae, which was brownie based, but the brownies weren't great.
The only jibe I had with this place is the location of the restrooms.it's very scary if you are going to the washroom alone.because it's located away and among the natural rock carvings. So girls, please ask someone to accompany you or go in a bunch.

Decent place to visit for group of friends or with your partner by the lake. The food options are less and tastes good.

Cozy place. Situated with a beautiful and serene view of Durgam cheruvu lake front this place has to offer a wide range and variety of food. The ambiance is top notch and the food quality and taste is super good. Great place to visit in groups and instagrammable locations for photo freaks out there. Overall a fine dining experience. Also this place offers an open area for alcoholic consumables in a separate area distinguished from normal dining areas.

Typical average hangout place in Hyderabad - dim light, poor music, dull vibe, tasteless food. I tried one of their craft beers which was decent though.

The ambience is good, but obviously we went there for a perfect candle lit dine out. The food is neither good nor worse… if want to visit just for the ambience and nothing else. I would suggest this place. For food, not at all. We expected a lot and visited this place.but as they say high expectations give very high disappointments. The view was awesome but not the people, first they were arguing with me, didn't give me the table i asked for though there were tables available, then when we had settled our bill, rain had started we couldn't come out, i was so thirsty, i was constantly trying to call that person, I can't recall the name but he is bengali and surname is Majumder who was taking care of us, but heintentionally ignored, he is not a person suitable for hospitality, we asked to serve the food he denied, very bad services very bad

The ambience and atmosphere is amazing. Went here for a painting date and it was great, the staff is very polite.

This is a nice place to hangout overlooking the Durgam Cheruvu lake, although you may not get any view at night. We sat outside, and the candle light setup was awesome. During rain it is better to sit inside though.

The ambience of the entire restaurant is good, multiple sitting areas, live music and attractive landscaping.

Food was good, little pricy but worth it. We tried some white pasta and smoked chicken.

Enough parking is available. It is a little difficult to reach the restaurant through maps, some short cuts are actually not available to the general public.

Some of my friends Recommended for dinner! Food is interesting, but most exciting part is their brewery collection. I personally liked #darkchocolate beer (caution!: Slightly bitter)

I visited this place late in the afternoon, waited till it opened and enjoyed sunset. Specific table has that view. There is running music in the background speaker, better be live! Food is good but on the expensive side.

Very few options, arrogant staff and really average cocktails. And yes, extremely pricey. Really not worth your time and money in short.

Olive Bistro & Bar is located in Jubilee hills to the end of Venkatagiri hills back of Durham cheruvu.
This is an amazing place serving authentic Italian food accompanied with drinks.
The food is amazing there are loads of varieties over here, Pizzas, pastas and desserts.
Best Italian food destination in Jubilee Hills.
It's very had to get a table reserved on the week ends as the place is happening.
Do come this place to have good food with great atmosphere.
The place is on the higher side but it's quite worth it.

One of worst staff I ever experienced. I went into the store made a purchase, I was told to leave the bistro as they have a event coming up while I am having my food.why the hell did they even sell something if they have a planned event. Staff was rude on how they conveyed us to leave the place.

Ambience was the bestttt.
Please pre book the seats for good view. Also Prefer outdoor candle light.

Went there on a weekday afternoon and it was reasonably crowded (due to it being the last week of the year). We sat indoors and the place had a Goan cafe vibe to it. The food was amazing - especially the cottage cheese skewers. The vegetable bake (an item from the Christmas menu) was good, felt like comfort food. Finished off the meal with a flourless cake which was yummy. Overall a must visit place, which we plan to visit again sometime.

I am surprised it took me so long to go to this place. It's a beautiful and happening place. There were multiple parties, birthdays booked and it was full even on a weekday so maybe take a reservation before hand for any day. But I would really love to visit again since there were so many items on the menu that I really wanted to try.

Olive bistro and hoppers are the best two places for chill for dating. Hoppers have crazy places chilling out for friends, and olive bistro, please book your tables before so that your loved person won't get disappointed. Olive Bistro is the best place for a candlelight dinner. Anyone who have plans romantic proposal for their mates. I highly recommend this place.

Ambience is very good and you can try variety of brewed beer here. Try to book your table before visiting. Although outside sitting was full but I asked manager for it and we get it after 10 mins.

Location: Next to a lake. Setup like Greek cities perched on a shore with white and blue paint.
Food: Food was very good. Baby burrata and the truffle oil rissotto was great.
Drinks: Tried beers - both Stout and Cider were very decent.
Ambience: We sat out side which was dimly lit up and windy.
Music: Our first 40 mins were very irritating since a sun downder party was going on and the music was very loud. Would recommend not going before 8pm on weekends.
Toilets: filthy and dirty toilets with puke all over. Folks from sundowner party had made it filthy and the staff didn't clean. This was an issue given Covid pandemic.

Tucked away in a corner but interestingly bang in Jubilee Hills, I chose it to meet up with my school mate, as it has an outdoor seating. COVID times have made us wary, let's say:)
Pil pil (mushroom) was so finger licking good that I even asked the same sauce to be added to my grilled chicken.
They have a small collection of craft beers though right enough to pick your poison from. I went for witbier though I liked the cider sampler too. The stout has a nice creamy mocha flavour (as some stouts do). Take your pick. The hospitality is welcoming and the view of the lake is refreshing.
What else can one ask for to take a break from the grind of an urban life, trying to eke out a living ;-)

Still lot to achieve! First, please get a dishwasher. You are a premium restaurant. You can’t be washing glasses in bar’s sink. Second, fix the mosquito problem. You need more fans as it keeps mosquitoes away. Food is below par. Staff is friendly. Though, all of them can wear mask properly. View is scenic and can’t get better. Walkway use to one of the most romantic approach to any restaurant in Hyderabad, but now it stinks with foul space. Come on, Olive ~ You are one of the most beautifully located eatery of Hyderabad in a lakeside bungalow and can do better!

Such an amazing ambience and view to have while sitting with your people and hopping over food. Loved the place just for the view it gave. Both indoor and outdoor seating having beautiful view. But food was below average.
We have ordered Fish & chips, Roasted chicken & Hummus, Classic Margherita pizza and fries.
Chicken was undercooked in 'Roasted chicken & Hummus.
Fish was bland in taste.
Pizza was so basic.
Mocktails were good.

One of the best romantic places of Hyderabad. It offers good view of durgam cheruv and it has also got it's own brewery serving some good in-house beers. The food is okaish and it's highly recommend for people looking to spend some time with loved ones and having good conversations.

Service wasn't good at all, the person who ever was serving was back of us to leave the place. Didn't enjoy the food, apart from the pizza and kiwi mocktail nothing was good. It was not worthy

So this place is sitting there from a decade (been going there since 2010) and it never fails to make me happy. This bistro place makes you feel you are away from the city clutters and high rises.peaceful (if no loud music is played there). You get good brewed beers and great pizzas. This is also one of my fav spots for a lovely candle light dinner. The menu is sufficient but could have had a lil more to satisfy the taste buds in variety. You go in a group and you have the fun factor for sure.

Wonderful experience. Completely worth the money and wait. Me and my family had come over to have a go at why the hoppery was quite popular and it was amazing from beginning to end. The location is quite good, even during the monsoon. The interiors of the restaurant were beautiful. It's good for women, children and families as well. The italian cuisine like the pizzas and pastas were so good we went for seconds, the mocktails and desserts were top notch! Couldve appreciated a menu with more range to it, but everything they served came with wonderful quality.

Miserable experience, what was supposed to be a lovely lake view lunch turned out to be me eating under an ill covered tent with bugs.
Food - 1 of the 3 dished we ordered was acceptable, do not order Italian and make the same mistake as I did.

Ambience - Huge disappointment.

Unfortunately, the standards have gone down, the online menu is very limited and the taste is not upto the mark. Heavily priced too. It's only good to take pictures for the ambience. The staff is not bothered too, I had to ask for plates to be placed to have our meal.

Decent place but the entrance to reach it is a bit confusing as it's ahead of another restaurant and there is no clear sign to guide you

Best place to hangout with your loved ones. I love their live music and candle light dinner theme with scenic view of durgamchervu. Also there's a hoppery inside for mocktail lovers. Ample outdoor space as well. "Cool breeze - Hot dishes" what a vibe it is. Give it a shot, U guys will definitely like it.

A good place to have fun and chill, but Make sure you sit at the window at the first place, they will not allow you to change your place of sitting once you have your table even though others tables might be vacant, this offended me because I was paying huge amount for just not being satisfied. One of the best places in Hyderabad. Everything about this place is amazing. The view, the food, the ambience, the service.
The best time to visit would be around evening so that you don't miss the view.

Service is slow and prices are on the higher side.

The outdoor seating is amazing during the evening but gets difficult at night due to mosquitoes (carry a repellent lotion or gel if you plan a dinner here).

Best ambiance in the city, good if you like natural Beauty and light music.
Durgam cheru Lake and new bridge is also one of the attraction in background, I would love to go here for good Italian food and Drought Beer for lunch or Dinner

We visited for the Christmas Brunch. The food was good (4/5) - Deserts were disappointing, but service was awful. Our table didn't even have glasses to drink water. The waiters didn't know about the mocktails served and were generally unaware about their own menu.

It was a great discovery in Hyderabad, tucked in a quiet corner. Was worth the trek, especially the last mile. Food is awesome, especially desserts. Ambience is great. Great place for group outings.

It's a little isolated place but that's probably what provides it it's unique ambience.
The ambiance is fantastic with plenty of outdoor seating. We went on a "couples' night" so there were lots of "tables for two".

A very disappointing experience at Olive Bistro which was a much awarded and highly rated place at Durgam Cheruvu. Food, ambience and service are below par. Despite our request for less spicy food, all the dishes were either too spicy or salty. Could not understand what the others saw while giving such great reviews.

Except for the restaurant manager everyone has an attitude for no reason. Other than pizza the food isn't that great. Crafted beer was a disappointment.

Pork ribs did not have ribs. Rest of the dishes were average. Presentation is not good. Beverages are extremely overpriced. Infested with mosquitoes.

The ambiance is great, creative yet rustic. You get your normal drinks too and cocktails if you can't drink neat. Mocktails, if you're a recovering alcoholic (if you are, this is not a place to be). But be sure to drink enough before eating, cuz that's the only way you're gonna be fine with eating average food for such a high price. Oh, and the Creme Brulé is pretty good.

I love the aura and food here. It also serves the best. The most important thing that I loved about this place is the enlightening environment I experienced here. If you want to impress your loved ones, this is the place for sure.

Till Evening before Mosquito start enjoying the area, it awesome. After that it's just torture. Only opt for closed space which get filled easily also.

This Bistro just have view as the Only plus point. Brewery, Hard Drinks or Wine is not that you wouldn't find anywhere else with a good view also.
