Platform 65 - The Train Theme Restaurant - KPHB

This new innovative theme based restaurant was so good. Mr. Sandip was well received and allot a table for us. Food ordered and delivery well by the train, which was excited especially my daughter. Taste was also good. Specially Platform 65 spl. Joint roast biryani and mix non-veg bucket too good.

The food tastes poor. But the ambience is good. The theme is why u need to go to this restaurant. 1 time visit only not worth the price

Visited on weekday. Food n serve excellent. Only music was little loud. Otherwise experience was very good.

Toy train is center of attraction and you money will be worth paid off. Service is good and food is delicious. Must try.

It is a good restaurant for family with their children. The place is hygiene and looks nice. The wait time is more, so better reserve a table before you go there or else go during weekday lunch. The specialty is food is bought by toy train and served by waiter.
The taste of the food is nice: we (2 persons) tasted chicken tikka biryani, chiken tandori biryani and tangidi kebad. The quanity is less as the items are bought by train but still the price should have been more reasonable. Overall its a fun place for kids and family.

Ambience and the taste of food is good. Must try when you are nearby. Waiting time is longer when visiting on a weekend. No provision to book the table on weekends. But overall a good experience. Kids enjoy more.

Good place to catch up with friends or a small dinner. Table (thiruvananthapuram) was not wiped properly. It was sticky. The cuttlery was not clean. Spoons had food stuck on the lower part. We had shown the same to Diwakar who took our order as well as the manager. Food was ok. Cleanliness was not up to the mark

Nice cozy place for groups with people more than four and the food is also nice its a reasonable priced place

Restaurant food is good but not awesome.
And is located in new building. Good to go with team and family members.

You can find Gongura Biryani one of the best and also Mutton piece biryani also good. Cost is good. And it will be high for normal people.

Parking facility not yet improved here for two wheeler and four wheeler as of DEC-2019.

Experience is very new and interesting. Kids just stand on the seats, watching the trains carrying food and going back after unloading. Food is also tasty. But, as the food being sent on the train toy, they are becoming cold by the time they reach the table and the food being served. But, if you want that experience, you should bare with it, unless, it is just another restaurant. We asked to get the food hot and they got them manually. Pulav as too oily which can be felt even after we left the restaurant. Prices are okay.

Concept of the restaurant and ambience is nice. My kid had an absolute fun. Food is tasty and yummy. I recommend it.

Unique idea, toy train delivers ordered food to your table, taste wise not that great, but crowded, maybe because kids in family like the concept of toy train. Parking facility is available, better to book the table in advance to avod waiting at the restaurant particularly during holidays.

Location and ambiance:

After Jubilee Hills and Gachibowli, the next destination for the biggest brands appears to be Kukatpalli/KPHB. This place is ideal in more ways than one. It has a huge migrant population, densely populated, lots of student and IT crowd what with it's close proximity to the best of educational institutions and Hitech City. So this place is located on Highway number 65 and since it is a Train themed restaurant, it's named Platform 65. As the name suggests, the restaurant has a train theme and right from.the entrance, you get the vibes. Each Table is associated with a major train station. We were seated at Vizag. This place can accommodate close to 180 diners at one go.

Service: Service is very prompt and efficient. The food is delivered on a train from the kitchen and they seem to have pulled it off with flying colors. The table number is coded and the food is delivered to your table. It's unique experience and kids and adults seem to be enjoying the process.

Verdict: It was very heartening to see this place jam packed on a Tuesday night. Infact, while we were exiting, there were people waiting for their turn for the table. Speaks volumes about how successful they are at the moment. What's important for them would be to sustain this for longer duration of time. They could also look at the possibility to name their dishes on the theme of the restaurant, like how they do in trains. Food was delicious no doubt. It was so good, we had to request for repeats for most of them. Portion sizes is something they could increase. A must visit place with your kids.
