#Nice place which make us feel like in pondy. & there is an art made of chips and electronics items which is showing the town planning of white town puducherry. Food: taste was good
This place is slowly loosing it’s sheen, I ordered egg kothu parotta, order took by 2 persons, first one doesn’t have any idea about menu, told thrice, egg kothu, then to make him understand Andaa kothu… meanwhile another came and took order, said I already ordered but then ordered clear soup… first came kothu which is not not flaky and the excessive salna (gravy) made it clumsy, then came soup.i was unable to taste the kothu hence asked to lighten it by adding plain shredded to make it edible to eat … finally when tasting I realised it is veg kothu and not egg…. Lost interest and palate… just ate half and left the place.sad dinner!
Worst Service ever got in a restaurant. Ordered some combo meal got something else that too in fractions. They will just roam around & won't even care you ask them multiple times for a water bottle or cutlery.
It's lighted up at night making it look cozyy.food taste is good and as name suggests different types of parottas are available to choose from.service is average as only 1-2 people are doing all the work, it takes time for them to get back with your order.so if you aren't hungry and have patience to wait for food, then you can happily choose this place
Here you will find a good variety of non-veg food.limited veg options but the taste is good.we tried veg parottas and parotta pizza here maintaining the taste and flavours of the food.hygiene standards were upto the mark. Welcoming staff.peaceful environment.it's a good point to stop by if you want sit talk and enjoy food at the same time.
If you are a fan of Tamil good rap paraottas, u gotta visit this place… yum kuttuParota & Kalaku… Best: ‘Thagandi’ coffee ️ Good: Ambience Bad: Waiting period (only one/two servers for entire restaurant.cost cutting due to pandamic season I believe.)
Very hopeless food. The food was stinking, tasted rotten, undercooked and the rice felt like leftover food was passed on. Quality has gone down terribly.
Wonderful Nostalgic Tamilnadu Experience. Please tell me where on Hyderabad, you can find a place, where they are selling Barota-Salna and kothu. Nowhere you can find this in this state except "PONDY PAROTTAS". The ambiance is really a worth of the money the place is located in a calm environment making the experience a beautiful one. I personally have tried both delivery and dine in and will at any time prefer dine in. They also have very many varieties in egg u could try Klaki which is amazing. Also if u r bored with Hyderabadi Biryani try Ambur Biryani, it surely will make u visit this place again.
Loved the ambur biryani, it had a unique taste and is totally different from the regular biryani's and pulao's.if you want to try something unique, one should definitely try it
Always Biriyanis are not hot. Today had Ambur chicken biriyani and prawn biryani, in which chicken leg piece was not fresh and prawns were over salty. Service people were not on time, and had too wait for the food for long
Good place to taste Ambur style biryani, Parottas etc. But their menu is getting changed. Dosas are getting replaced. But not sure replaced by what. Service is a bit slow. Not sure if it is due to the new norms. But taste is great.
Good ambiance with choice of both indoor and outdoor seating. Not too heavy on the wallet. Food taste could be better, especially when evoking nostalgia with the TN, Pondy specialty dishes.
Horrible service. Many items we ordered were forgotten and they remembered only after we asked after an hour. DO NOT SIT IN ANY OF THE OUTSIDE BENCHES - there is little no service out there and you can spend your time watching cars go by waiting in the hope of food that will never come.
The food was okay, but all of the chicken gravies did not have any meaty pieces. There were only bones and joints in the chettinad chicken curry which was disappointing.
Also, whatever you do - please do not order any of the chicken/ mutton stuffed dosas - they are nothing but minced meat and vomit inside a rolled dosa designed to make you appreciate other food out there in the world.
This place used to be one of the places I go for authentic Tamil cuisine. However the experience was not the same when I visited last time. The oil used was bad. The mutton soup was old and gave me a stomach trouble. Even their trademark chicken 65 was fried in old oil and was treated bad. They need to really work on how fresh a good they serve.
Worst.it's not Pondy or Tamil Nadu style.they made name only Pondy.especially parotta.waste.less quantity.very worst.bad experience.especially chilly parotta very less quantity.kothu parotta not at all our Tamil Nadu style.came very excited. But total disappointed
Disappointed us a lot.first time when I visited pondy parottas in ameerpet I really loved Ambur biryani.expected th same and visited hi-tech outlet.but taste was really so bad that they couldn't even match 30% of ambur biryani.and rate are very very high.in Chennai we can get kottu parotta for 100 and less, but here starting it self is 140 and tasteless.
It was a disgrace to Tamil cuisine. The sambhar was awful (it tastes like cinnamon soup). The ghee roast dosa was neither roasted nor had any ghee. The size of the dosa was a joke.
Edit: The dosa was served with 2 types of chutneys. They served the sambhar only on my request. However, that was not sambhar. I received no communication from the serving staff. This was at the Izzat Nagar outlet.
Its awesome restaurant.it is a pondicherry style restaurant but available all items, best itrms here is Parottas, different different parottas available. U like those items. I love chicken parottas.
Loved the food must go place, esp egg kalaki is best also the paratha they serve are soft and every dish is worth tasting.will suggest to every on go try once
We thought it was Tamilian based restaurant but learnt it is Pondicherry style. Nice clean place and good food. The owner was very polite and responsive. Overall nice place.
A neat cozy place.with authentic Tamil Nadu parotas and biryani. Loved the prawns 65 with zero coating and we'll blend of spices which was a good start for appetizers. Ceylon paratha was okish with a regular stiffed chicken paratha. The biryanis are typical Tamil Nadu based so don't expect Dum as they offer you their authentic paloaus which are not to be compared and have a unique taste to relish. Service was quick.
Good place for seating, nice ambience. As the name of the restaurant parottas indicates the menu serving different types of parathas. Pricing of each paratha costs around 150 - 200/- which is a bit expensive for just some paratha. Usually youngsters visit this place it opens till 11: 00 p.m. They do take the last orders too. Both veg and non veg dishes severe here. Parking lot available in front of this restaurant, capacity of seating around 60 to 70 guests.
Went there with lots of expectations for fluffy parottas and kuruma but it was a disappointment. Chicken stew they served with Parotta was just ok. Ambience and location is really good. If they take care of the taste this restaurant can score a lot better.
