A small store, with totally organic products like millets, jaggery, rice, vegetable oils, etc. Also, the store gets selected organic vegetables directly from fields on every Tuesday and Friday evenings.
Changing my review to 5 stars after my recent visit to this place after long time, now it stands as a best place to get authentic organic products at a decent price.
Fresh organic vegetables available at tarnska store only on Tuesday and Friday evening, otherwise they are from the adjacent cold storage.range is limited on other days.price is comparatively cheap to other organic vegetable stores
Sahaja Aharam Organic Store in Laxmi Starch Colony is small store for food grains with only a few items for sale, where as veggies are stored at a side by place with reasonable spacing. Prices are as expected little higher side especially food grains. Organic Products.craze of present day generation, whose exposure to normal agricultural practices are nil / not witnessed think of these. But in order to suvive in the prevailing conditions, one need to use all the foods. Use organic Food & drink Soft drinks adulterated with much more pesticide residues than normal looks contradictory. Ever increasing populationand decresing arable agricultural area puts presuure and growing organic products is still more problematic.
A small store, with lit of organic provisions, like millets, jaggery, rice, vegetable oils, etc. Also, the store gets done selected organic vegetables directly from fields on every Tuesday and Friday evenings.
All vegetables cost, around 50 Rs /Kg is very reasonable. No middleman business. 70 to 80 % profit goes directly to farmers. Every Tuesday and Friday evenings, new stock will be available
Pulses are good, but lacks range of products.it would have been a good choice of place if offered wide range of products similar to a supermarket.prices are exorbitantly high, for example, 6 eggs costs Rs. 100,6 very small laddus cost Rs. 100.on top of it the place was smelling, having a hygiene environment would be preferred.while the very thought of helping farmers directly pulled me to this place, following few suggestions can make the shopping with noble clause a better place.packaging should be better by all means, including the oil bottle quality, jaggery packing etc, light up their own product incense sticks to motivate buyers visiting that place, playing a light music could add a little zing to the overall appeal.
You get good organic food products here and the best part is that 50% goes to the farmers. So buying from here helps farmers directly. Fresh vegetables arrive on Tuesday and Friday evenings, although they don't stock vegetables such as carrots, cauliflowers etc. Definitely worth checking out.
