I booked a consultation with Dr. Advaith via practo for my father who is dealing with Cataract. Even though I live in Gachibowli, I traveled to Secunderabad after reading great reviews about him and how well he handles and explain the procedures to his patients.
To my surprise, we had to wait for almost 90 mins before we could see him. When he did see my father, the meeting lasted for less than 5 mins where he declared that my father has cataract and his first question was whether we have insurance or not?
He then asked us to go downstairs where someone would tell us about the price and packages they offer. I understand getting the surgery done is the ultimate goal but the way he handled us seemed like it was a business meeting.
He had no answer for a problem that my father asked and replied that we will figure it out after the surgery.
He seemed more like a businessman than a doctor to me. He lacked empathy as a doctor. I don’t recommend him.
Eye institute Kompally branch may be good but they don't have basic lift facility or any assistance for old age especially above 80+ Old age people who have Knee issues or other ailments need some support and cant simply climb steps. Also i understood from one of lady by name Ms. Rajini very rude in behavior while speaking to customers -you can take patient to West Marredpally. If a patient is staying in Kompally and being told we dont entertain old age patients for eye check. In this regard i dont understand how basic things are there not in the hospital. I wont recommend Sai Jyothi Kompally center to any old age patients as eye center doesn't have basic facilities. I wont rate anything.
Doctors are very helpful at Sai Jyothi Eye hospital. Doctors here understands the problem of the patients and provide the best treatment/ surgery as required. Clearly explains the treatment procedure to the patients and prepares them for better results.
