My father S. S. Chalam was admitted few weeks back for a severe wound (great toe infection in foot). We have gone through several hospitals in your home town and neighbouring city every one told the toe has to be removed. When I was discussing with a friend here in Canada they posted in NRI group enquiring for a podiatrist some one from Bhimavaram has sent a text on watsapp group about Save legs clinic and Dr Jayesh Kakkar. My mother started having wounds on both her legs in early 2019 - It started very small and my parents saw a dermatologist in Hyderabad who gave her some medications and bandages which did not help and the wound started growing, after this my parents saw doctors after doctors, every other specialist in hyderabad and they would give her some medications and bandages to tie around her wound which never helped.
After two years in 2021 the wound had already grown much larger and the pain was unbearable and the wound also started having abscess, she was having sleepless nights, she couldn’t go through one night without pain killers and she started taking pain killer like candies, and then in 2021 my sister took her to a specialist at Yahoda hospital who said that she was having varicose veins problems and asked to do a laser surgery which costed almost 3 to 4 lakhs which was completely a waste instead of fixing the wound the surgery increased the wound in size and the pain also increased subsequently, I don’t live in India, I live in the United States and was trying to follow up with my sister with the progress of her treatment for the past 3 years in 2023 I went to India and when I was staying with my mother and saw her pain I started googling "leg ulcer doctors in Hyderabad" and I came across Dr Jayessh Kakar from SAVE LEGS DIBETIC FOOT CLINC, meeting him was a blessing for us our first appointment he informed us clearly about the treatment plan asked us to get a Doppler Test and once the results were there he admitted my mother in the hospital for the treatment for 5 days and believe it or not day 3 my mother was able to tell that her pain was subsiding she was feeling much better (she never said this once when we did the surgery at Yashoda), every day Dr Jayessh would come in personally to do the wound care we could see the wound drying up with NO ABCESS from day 3 itself.
After the wound started to dry Dr jayessh discharged us with medications and follow ups on tying the bandages every 3 days, 2 months in the treatment today my mother’s wound has completely dried up and she is completely pain free she is able to sleep and its been 2 months she hasn’t taken any pain meds, Before getting treated by Dr Kakar we had lost all our hopes as the hospitals we went before couldn’t even diagnose the issue, today when I contemplate my decisions I should have taken my mother to Dr kakar at the first instance itself which would have avoided so much pain my mother when through. I would like to thank Dr kakar whole heartedly for curing my mother’s ulcers and taking personal care and getting her life back to normal

So this probably is my first review ever, never ever wrote one! To be honest.dr Jayesh isn’t just god sent, for me he is god himself! Long story short, my dad stepped on a thorn where many of the doctors said, it’s better to amputate the toe.but am someone who can have access to almost 20-30 doctors overnight, saw soo many best of the best doctors, sent pictures to the one’s in Mumbai, Delhi … but then I found dr Jayesh.am not even exaggerating.you guys should look at the toe now.it looks as normal as everyone’s! Trust me, if he cannot do it, no one in the country can! And also once you start amputating, it goes on and doesn’t end well (few cases)! But dr. Jayesh sir is all about saving the leg and am forever indebted to him! Even after the surgery, he ‘d follow up till the wound completely heals, I even saw him visiting his patients at 3’0 clock in the morning if he is travelling for even one day! Words totally doesn’t do any justice and I could go on and on about him and also I see soo many uncles leaving coz they felt consultation fees is high while I stayed in hospital with my father for nearly 15 days. I’d say please don’t! You’d be very lucky if you just fall into his hands, And people neglect it soo much coz it’s foot, for diabetic people.you should be taking care of your foot like you take care of your heart! The journey begins with jayesh sir is bcz of my dad suffering with the wound from past 2 years. We went many hospitals nd we are suffering a lot but we didn't find solution. After suffering 2 years i went to jayesh sir through reviews he explain the problem nd he done d surgery nd the wound is cured in just 2 months. Iam so much thankfull to jayesh sir. Dr. Jayesh is a wonderful surgeon. My daughter had a long term issue with ingrown toe nail. We tried many options. They did not work. We finally went to Dr. Jayeshl. He did a surgical procedure. After that there is no recurrance. His reassurance during the procedure kept her calm.

My mother had been diabetic for a while now, had a wound around the great toe, which gradually increased, we visited one Dr. Lokesh who immediately asked us to get her admitted, and amputed the toe the next day.

Later he referred us to Dr. Srikanth Raju at Yashoda hospital, hi-tech City, on 16th of September who again got her admitted on 17th September and amputed further 4toes and charged us around 5.25lakhs.

Despite of all his worthless treatment my mother was not recovering even a bit, later they came up with a new story of need of grafeting on the amputed part and gave us an estimate of further 2.5 lakhs.

Fed up of the incompetence of Dr Raju, we had decided not to see him again, as a friend of ours who got treatment from Dr. Jayesh Kakar told us about him, and on 17th Nov, we visited him and he got her admitted for about 5 days and cured her as if it's a magic, no further surgery, no grafeting required, nothing.she had healed and now my mother is pretty much well and happy.

I believe these corporate hospitals have to really check on the kind of doctors they hire, as these kind of doctors will not only play with patients life but also effect the reputation of their Hospitals!

As a Sikh, I had been doing service to the society, but these kind of people like Dr Raju are making me think twice on the concept of humanity!

I have been meeting Dr. Jayesh Kakkar since 2021 for treating my Mother's right foot which was infected severely.

With my cousin reference I have visited to Dr Jayesh Kakar 9 years back at Vivekananda Hospital for my mother as she had infection on her right leg 3rd finger as she is a Diabetic Patient. First Impression is the best Impression that applies to Doctor Jayesh. When we consulted Dr Jayesh and after examining the wound he explained us abt the wound clearly and unfortunately we were late for the treatment and my Mother's finger got amputated by Dr Jayesh within two days. After the surgery the Doctor took utmost care for next three days as my mother was in observation post surgery and got discharged from the hospital after two days. We visited doctor every alternate for dressing and the way he treats his patients is an example for every medical practitioner.

I am writing this review after 2 years, Took my grandmother to Dr Jayesh Kakar 2 years ago, He is straightforward doctor and doesn't ask for unnecessary tests, probably he isn't interested in taking commissions from labs,
As far as the cost is considered it's actually More cheaper than any other corporate hospitals who ask for unnecessary tests, give unnecessary medicine etc

Now after two years also my grandmother who is 75+ is absolutely fine and didn't need consultation for the old problem.

The best Doctor.it was a rebirth for my brother.he had foot ulcer onthe right leg, v have consulted many Doctors but everyone has advised to amputate the.but Mr Kakkar Doctor only asked u want to become alright then come and admit.now my is brother is perfectly good.he gave rebirth to my brother v r really thankful to him. My brother was suffering from varicose vein ulcer and diabetic ulcer with wounds on both his legs. He was asked to undergo minor surgeries and finally a skin grafting. The skin grafting peeled off mostly, except in a few spots. He was getting the dressing done in one of the best hospitals in Bangalore every alternate day without much improvement.

So he does accept that he charged me Rs. 3000 for consultation fee or else he wouldn't even address a patient. At the same time he is talking about transparency.lol! First lure your fish (patient in dire necessity) then have a attendant right out side his office to collect CASH as fee WITH OUT RECEIPT and then give all the bull. Very good advancement in our culture to call a patient names (Well of course since i called him a fraud). Again this guy is a opportunistic pest that charges fees based on patients profiles rather than a Doctor him self. I guess he covered the rest of 3 weeks worth of patient fees on my single visit. Stay away folks not worth it. HOPE SOME DAY IT WILL SEE THESE POSTS.

He is an excellent doctor for diabetic foot. He is a cool person, his words will give us courgae and make us to forget all the pain and fear. My mother is a diabetic, she had foot ulcer and severe infection. We went to many hospitals, and all doctors said that we need to cut off the infected foot.
Our physician doctor has referred to dr. Jayesh sir. When we consulted him he clearly explained the problem. He operated and ruled out the infection without cutting off the foot. We are very much greatful to Jayesh sir for saving my mother's foot. Without Jayesh sir my mother would never be able to walk with her foot. Very passionate doctor towards saving the foot of the diabetic patients. The way of treating his patients is completely different from all the corporate hospitals, I also had a diabetic ulcer and visited many famous corporate hospitals first thing they say is to remove the foot etc but jayesh sir really did a small surgery and avoided the procedure of removing. In my case the only medicine I used was a 600 mg antibiotic tablet. I was really glad that I came to know about him. I suggest everyone who has problems with diabetic foot to consult him and give a try. You might feel the consultation charges and treatment charges might be a bit high but compared to corporate hospitals it’s way cheaper.
