Overall the stay at hotel was comfortable. Buffet breakfast which is complementary is good.
Entering into film city is a little task with the rude security staff.
Perfect Place for a stay, also good for honeymoon couple. Ask them for a honeymoon package. It’s a beautiful location, they serve delicious food, excellent customer service, you will also get Candle light special dinner. Worth spending $$$ You get a free tour throughout film city in a special car. Overall amazing experience in this Luxurious Hotel.
Excellent Hotel, Tasty and delicious Food, hygienic rooms, very attentive staff, I would like specifically thank Bharathi Madam, for arranging to and fro visit to Ramoji film city to convention centre where we had food, and again arranging ride for hotel
Enjoyed staying here for a wedding with friends. Overall a positive experience, but still left some things to be desired. At one point construction was going on during the day and the entire hotel lost power a few times. However, for the convenience of having banquet halls on site as well as arranging catering and transportation, this may be the place for you.
Rooms: Probably beautiful back in the day, but now has a faded kitschy feel. Rooms were spacious and pretty clean with housekeeping arriving daily but everything looks and feels worn. The rooms get quite humid when away. AC is effective but lights/electricity only work while your key card is inserted in the room. Wished they would leave larger rolls of toilet paper!
Service: Staff were very courteous and helpful, but partly due to a language barrier and partly due to training there were times where it was difficult to get help/directions. E.g. My friend was trying to get into our room late at night and no one knew where to find a master key.
Amenities: Each room has some sweet treats and bottled water stocked on arrival. An awesome swimming pool with lounge chairs is on site, as well as a fitness center (which I did not get to see). Wi-Fi is spotty at best. Housekeeping was responsive when we needed extra towels or toiletries.
Location: A solid hour drive from Hyderabad airport, and an hour from the actual city itself. However, once on site you'll have pretty much everything you need and easy access to the grounds of Ramoji Film City which is quite an experience.
Just OK. Over hyped. 3 star hotel. Hotel interiors are good, royal themed. Rooms are not that great, smelly and interiors are outdated. Restaurant food quality is good but options are limited. Staff is not that courteous and services are too slow. Team here is not that bothered about guest.
Of course the surrounding, Film sets, outside cafe, are all that you will enjoy.
Stayed here for company outing. Hotel rooms are very bad with stinking smell as you enter into the room. AC is not upto the mark. Chairs and Sofa are so old we can see the black marks clearly on it. Breakfast buffet doesn't have spread and charging ₹600 (inclusive of taxes) for just idli, Vada and some bakery items. Restaurant Galaxy food is not at all good for the price they are charging. Taste is very bland.not a single item impressed us. Had Chinese for lunch which disappointed us very much. For 14 people table not even one person was dedicated and they are so confused from taking the order to serving the dishes.never had such bad experience in normal hotels. Finally even Biryani Rice is under cooked for that they took 20-30 mins to serve. Night tandoori items are another level.bland taste, chicken is not tender. Total waste of money.
Best place to stay while in Ramoji film city.has the right vibe, quality and staff.will suggest any one to plan their next personal or corporate events here
We stayed at Sitara hotel in Ramoji Film City for a wedding. We got an absolutely beautiful room called Mughal e Azam that is truly inspired by a mahal, with mirror work and wood carving throughout the room. The room has an en suite bathroom with an extra toilet and a dining area. It's clean and well maintained.
The staff at the hotel is super efficient and extremely helpful and friendly. I especially want to thank the housekeeping team.
The spa at the hotel is a must try. Ms. KimKim is a woman's masseuse and is extremely good. She managed to fix my long pending ankle pain!
My only suggestion is to provide an iron in the rooms, especially during the wedding season!
Beutiful location, pool view rooms amezing, service good, staff very helpful and polite, food also delicious, many options available in buffet breakfast, and very near to ramoji film City
Stayed here for two nights. Pleasent experience. Comfortable cozy rooms, nice service. They give you pick and drop service to Eureka free of charge. Special shout out to Ms Leela @their restaurant and Mr Magdoom for going out of the way to make us comfortable. Thank you.
This was my second visit to Hotel Sitara in the last four months. This is definitely a very good Hotel but cannot be categorised as 5 star. I have liked the ambience always. On our first trip we did a Ramoji FILMCITY tour. Saw the studios and the various sets, shooting locations etc. It definitively does give you happiness when you are at the location and try to remember the movie you saw this location in. In my opinion, hotel is old but still it maintains a decent level of luxury and comfort. In my two visits, staffs have recognised me. Pool is good but remains overcrowded due to influx of guests. In my last trip i.e. Today, we decided to stay in the hotel and enjoy surrounding areas. There was a carnival happening which was okie dokey. Nothing much, except for lighted trees and streets. Food at Sitara is not very tasty but it is not either m. Rates are smashingly overpriced. This time there was a buffet at the fountain and boy it was really bad. Total chaos, and people were as if on each other for food. That ruined my trip, I should have stuck to Sitara Galaxy restaurant for dinner. Even at Sitara, they had a buffer but not one staff informed us by the evening. There is an in-house bar, drinks are not expensive and are reasonably priced. Food is expensive. Not much variety. At a time, for Lunch or Dinner you will end up spending Rs3k respectively. AC in our room was not cooling upto the mark, technician fixed it later. They have a recreational building but I did not check it out. Ample parking space. Front office people are helpful. Lobby manager Raju was helpful yesterday. Lots of check in and check out were happening between yesterday and today. Night lobby manager, forgot his name helped me to acquire few soft drinks after the restaurant was closed. Arunesh and Logesh are front office helpful executives. Hotel need to increase capacity during peak season or peak time. No special delicacy that I can mention. Wanted to complete Sahas ride with kids but could not due to checking out by 10: 00 am plus the scorching heat of the Sun. They should keep check out time 11: 00 am. 10: 00 am is too early. Breakfast spread is the same every morning, nothing great shakes. Better to carry your own alcohol if you drink alcohol. Rest this time it was only the hotel that we wanted to enjoy and relax as in the first visit, we had covered the entire RAMOJI FILM City’s various attractions.will definitely keep coming back to Hotel Sitara … luxury at a reasonable price!
Away from the rest of the world, yet captures the world in a movie set. Not surprisingly, has had many hit movies getting filmed here. Beautiful gardens and landscape.
Huge area. Well maintained. All the cinema settings are there and worth visiting. Absolutely different world. Wonder how they could have made Bahubali. Imagination world. Thrilling and superb in nature. Marvelous creation. Hats off to this studio.
Every thing including amenities and service were excellent. House keeping service was excellent and particularly the approach of house keeping staff Afroj khan was outstanding.
It was a memorable experience nothing to really complain about. The staff was corteous at all the time and ready to help. Rooms are OK cleaniless is good
I came to the hotel in 2017 so the arrangement was very good at that time. After that, your system came in April 2022 and was not the same. Dinner was also bad. No one was listening to us even at the reception. Even after coming to the hotel, our luggage remained outside and brought it on request several times. The air condition was also bad in the night. Room service was also bad. There was a wedding program in your hotel, those who came after booking your hotel room should also be taken care of.it was very bad
I don't see a 0 star for the review. Don't recommend this place to friends or family members. Place of junk.such a waste they couldn't serve atleast fresh ice-cream.
They have an amazing pool side view and interiors but the basic amenities like tv and ac doesn't work here. We spent whole night awake as their ac doesn't cool the rooms. Courteous staff but no service. Worst for staycation .
Staying within the premises of the largest film city and in a hotel which plays host to all actors, cast and crew is in itself an experience of a lifetime.
It was not worth the "5star" branding. Maintenance was average at best, they switched off power in my room in the night. I wouldn't recommend this Hotel for someone looking for a 5 star hotel
