Rooms are maintained very neat and clean. Service is really good with well mannered staffs.

Very nice ambience with excellent mutton biryani. If you are a biryani lover you must try this place jn Malakpet. The taste is totally different than rest of the restaurants.

It is a good place and has delicious food served hot and fresh with perfect mughlai flavours and has a very wide range of kebabs.but the service is sometimes delayed and it takes at least 40 minutes for your order to come

Famous for malai paya, marag, and nihari in old Hyderabad.

Tea is equally good.

The family section and air-conditioned section is clean and hygienic, but common sitting is very dirty and unhygienic.

Food is tasty. One must try malai paya, mutton nihari, Hyderabadi Naan, mutton marag. Biryani is good.

Prices are on the costlier side and a little expensive compared to other restaurants of similar kind.

Service is very slow and needs a lot of patience.

Overall, one must visit this restaurant in old Hyderabad.

Was here at the weekend. We pre-booked, but still had to wait for around 10 mins. But the food and service was worth the wait.

Let's start with the platter. Patthar ka gosht was the show stopper, one bite and it just melted in the mouth. Chicken and fish kebabs were good. Sheekh kabab was extremely spicy. Prawns were perfectly charred. The platter was obviously served with mayonnaise and chutney. Thums Up was complimentary.
Then came Laham Mandi. The rice was cooked perfectly, the meat was ah-ma-zing! It was served with tomato chutney and shorba (meat soup).
Finally, Khabsa Dijaj. Like Mandi, the rice was cooked well, the chicken was overcooked which made it hard and very chewy.
Was full by then, there was no point of having dessert.

The overall experience was wonderful. The price is reasonable. The ambience is good especially for Families. The service is prompt once you're in. The waiting time will depend on when you're visiting.

Yesterday night i went to sohail hotel and ordered 1 platter, 1 kabsa and 5 rotis.
Platter was pathetic, full of spice mirchi. 1200 rupees wasted.
Kabsa also not tasty.
Very disappointed.

Very unhygienic packing of hot paya soup in a plastic cover. Shirmal was not included and Swiggy said will refund 25 R. S but cannot do anything about the worst packing.

Paya is a must try and this is not a place with great ambience And hygiene but food tastes good

You'll smell the stink from staircase itself.

Their serving containers run out of food very quickly and it takes 30 to 40 minutes for them to refill them.

The food was tasteless and pathetic. Especially Biryani, apart from being tasteless the meat was half cooked. We had Kheer, it was filled with cornflour (filler), hence, no milky flavour. Guests just had gravy and some chicken and no meat in curries.

The door to kitchen is through a WASHROOM, that smells even more awful. Imagine your food coming through washroom!

This was our worst experience with Sohail Restaurant's Banquet Hall. It ruined our function. We will never ever think of coming back to this place.

Good food but the place needs some pest controlling. I found a bug in my food once but chose to not make a fuss and just reported it to the person in-charge coz I didn't want to make a scene. And also u will find a few tiny cockroach's running around.

Loved the Non veg Platter & Mandi mutton biryani of Sohail Restaurant situated at Malakpet Hyderabad. Nice Ambience very reasonable.

Good place, their biryani and kebabs are great, ambience is also good, their toilets are not hygienic at all.

Overall I would recommend this place for food lovers.

We had crispy chicken and dum biryani.which are special here according to management. And they don't disappoint. Crispy Chicken was awesome n unique. Not the best biryani though. But it's good. Ambience is good for family outings

Though the test of Biryani is somewhat better, but the management is found duping in " take away ". Don't believe and trust them as the motton biryani found without motton intead you find in the pack few bones and a piece of lever. I never saw such dupers.

Food is good. But don't know how to serve. If you order starter and mutton marag which used to eat with roti. They will come with marag. They serve bad quality lemon which are rotten along with food. Even if you ask to reschedule anything they won't even care about your instructions and keep doing the same. It happened to me twice here. Worst service. They says A/Cs are working but you still feel hot inside the hotel. No renovation in Wash section. Washroom look like cheap class hotel. And additional to this ordered chicken tikka which had plenty food colour that almost painted my nails even after wash

The best marag in town! Biryani is flavourful but mutton pieces were a little dry. Great taste, great service. Could improve on the cleanliness.

Taste of tea is gud.enogh parking place may not get served quickly because of the crowd.but still can go sit and have a tea.

Really good food. Try tandoori chicken and marg soup. I advise not to try Biryani here. Not that good.
Also try other dishes like grill and other stuff. There is one patthar ka ghosh dish. It is its speciality as it is only made at this place only. You can try it.

Having the first day of the year full crowded n management failed to give proper service n tested the patience of costumers

The food at sohail hotel has always been great. I visited sohail hotel for lunch and ordered their MARG and reshmi kabab.both of them were good (reshmi kabab could have been a little better). The biryani at sohail hotel that day was npt upto the mark.

The biryani was good. But it had small piece. The price of biryani was very high and the quantity was very less. The taste was okay. I didn't find it reasonable for that price. I got disappointed by the quantity and the price. I felt mehfil biryani is far better than this for the price. But you can give a try.

Only the quality of food doesn't mean that you are best.

Great service, taste and quality of food is good. Famous for nahari paya, apollofish and biryani. Also offers sweets. Good for an outing with family as they have a separate family dining halls. This place is famous for non vegetarian food doesn't offer vegetarian curries.

A good place to have lunch & dinner. The platter her served is just awesome. The kababs are very tasty. But disappointing thing is biryani. Biryani is not that good. If you are going only for biryani then go to other hotel. Except biryani everything is good.

Previously (5-8yearsback) this place was fabulous but now the management has become worst. The kitchen is also not that clean how it used to be before.

I have seen this hotel grow.used to visit over 2 decades ago. Now they have a family section too.
The dishes are good for the most part. I like their Tandoori section more than everything else. Especially the "Patthar ka Gosht" is amazing.
The mandi is not that good. It's more like regular rice served with lamb on the side.
Service is good
Prices are average (slightly higher in the AC section)

Good hotel for dinner, but waiting time is lot. I ve to wait for 20 mins for the order.apart from the waiting time everything is ok.

This restaurant has got a branch just besides called Waves, recommend you to visit their instead of Sohail. Here the food is very tasty and you get lots of variety cuisine!

The place is clean which is very important and food taste delicious. I am going there since 15years and they have maintained it very well.

Marvelous interior, superior staff, full Hygiene food, good house keeping and excellent taste, affordable.

Well, seems very crowded in almost every section of the hotel from tea section, Nahari section, dining section due to its taste. But one thing I want to put to notice to everyone that toilet should be cleaned well at regular interval to avoid the bad smell. Has decent parking space. Important thing to know it takes more time to get order once placed. Hope to see the major changes in the short period.
