This is pure vegetarian hotel serving breakfast, lunch dinner to people since many years. This is a legacy hotel of Hyderabad city. Good for any size of people coming there. There is ample space available for all to sit, eat, enjoy food and chat with your friends and near and dear ones.
Over a period this place hasn’t changed much. Same interiors, same decor and everything has remained same but pricing has gone at par with inflation -: lol. These folks are a bit arrogant as I could sense from the behavior it’s to do with doesn’t matter and don’t care people will come regardless of price. I think it’s time these iconic places get themselves upgraded else soon they will loose out and then there is tomorrow to look forward to.
Taj Mahal in Narayanguda stands as a cherished heritage restaurant chain that has remarkably preserved the authentic flavors, taste, and aroma of South Indian cuisine just as they were two decades ago. This culinary gem has managed to maintain its legacy of delivering a truly wonderful dining experience.
One of the highlights at Taj Mahal is the fabulous South Indian thali they offer. Bursting with an array of delectable dishes, the thali presents a symphony of flavors that truly represents the essence of South Indian culinary traditions. Moreover, even their biryani is nothing short of amazing, showcasing their versatility in preparing different regional delicacies.
While the flavors of the food continue to impress, it is worth noting that the interiors could benefit from a face-lift. Updating the decor would breathe new life into the ambiance and create a more visually appealing atmosphere for patrons. Additionally, enhancing the air conditioning system would be beneficial, particularly considering the recent increase in pricing.
However, it is worth mentioning that the idlis, upmas, wadas, uttapams, South Indian meals, and dosas remain as tasteful as ever, exemplifying the consistency and quality Taj Mahal is known for.
In conclusion, Taj Mahal in Narayanguda shines as a heritage restaurant chain that has upheld the rich flavors and traditions of South Indian cuisine. While some improvements in the interiors and air conditioning are needed, the fabulous South Indian thali, amazing biryani, and the continued excellence of their idlis, upmas, wadas, uttapams, South Indian meals, and dosas make Taj Mahal a must-visit for those seeking an authentic and delightful South Indian dining experience.
Great hotel. The rooms are top class, the food is awesome and the staff are courteous. What more can you ask for. I 100% recommend it for people visiting Hyderabad as tourists or for business.
A good and hygienic south Indian vegetarian restaurant. Located in the busy city limits. Convenient for commuters, office goers, students, families and friends groups to have good food.
Convention center for functions and business meetings and parking place available.
AC here stands for Air Cooler in the Banquet halls. So please rethink before suggesting the Banquet hall here to someone as it is Air Cooled and not Air Conditioned
The first hotel of the chain opened in Abid's, then Secunderabad, then Koti. This is the fourth. However, the one in Koti is shut down. Standard South Indian fare. Good for breakfast and lunch and evening snacks.
Taj Mahal has a history of serving hyderbadi palate and never disappoints anyone. They're well aware of the food and service people expect from them. It is a pure vegetarian fine dining restaurant in Hyderabad offering widespread all day menus including all the three meals of the day and don't miss the evening snack time with dairy. One would find vegetarian starters interesting here which are rare to find at most places. They satisfy with all there dishes and services and people walk out happy after any meal.
Food here in the trupthi restaurant is very delicious. I like the veg fried rice with paneer butter masala very much. Not only it looked awesome but tasted wonderful. The ambience is calm and good place for both an office get together or a family lunch.
Serving stale food. The curry that I received today has rotten smell.
I did not expect this type of service from Taj Mahal hotel. Although many people told me that the quality of food in Taj Mahal hotel has deteriorated in recent years, I still ordered from this hotel because of my trust on Taj Mahal hotel. But, it is very sad that the same thing happened to me.
The hotel management should take these food related issues seriously.
The best way would be to display list of items in meals openly to public (may be near the cash counter) so that people will know what they have been served.
