The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace

I am totally disappointed with mariott brand itself after staying in westin Hyderabad. After paying 35 k per day my problem started from the moment of checkin. Their app stopped working the same day and they cancelled my upgrade and in fact degraded me. I am sure they did it because they got some high demand on those days so locked my app for few days. So unprofessional
Their service were extremely slow and many time unresponsive and I never expected to get that type after paying multiple times of their normal rates. I found food quality much better in trident which was nearby. My account is still not showing those stays as my past stay. I am totally disappointed both with the hotel and their online account services.

We tried to get a room at this hotel, but it was all booked, so we had dinner there one evening instead at Prego - one of the restaurants in the lower level.

The lobby of the Westin is a very large and dramatic open space, which reminded me of resort hotels I have visited in Mexico. We had a drink or two in the lobby bar before heading downstairs for dinner. The seating was ample, and the service was adequate.

What a luxurious place. As in Hyderabad I have never visited the Westin. But when I did I just fell in love with the place.
Great ambiance, courteous staff and most importantly clean and fresh washrooms.
Good food.
A little heavy in my pocket but worth it.

My brother suffered severe stomach pain right after having his sip of cocktail we rushed him to the hosiptl there we knew it was Food poisoning, he ordered some cocktail and it smelled soo odd the egg in it dint mix well we tried to call the staff and explained as they dint attend he just had few sips after that we left the restaurant and went back to room there it all happened this shouldnt happen to anyone pls be aware of this star rated so called property where the illness started

Had a great stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Laundry is expensive. There is a place down the street (hi5) that does a great job. Ask for chef Altaf when eating in the restaurant. He’s friendly, knowledgeable and will surprise you with a great customized dish.

Spread is good, but a few dishes were salty. Place also bit congested may be due to the timing. Overall, good experience

Nice and clean room, but the matress is too soft for me.

Continental breakfast is good with alot of choices. Service is good and staffs are helpful.

Review of Hotel Westin:

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Westin, and I must say that my experience was quite mixed. While the hotel has some positive aspects, there were several significant drawbacks that left me feeling disappointed.

One of the main issues I encountered was the lack of a proper travel desk facility for guests. This made it challenging for me to arrange transportation to nearby attractions, such as Srisailam Malikarjun, which was quite inconvenient.

The room conditions were also subpar. I noticed that the lights in my room were flickering, which created an unpleasant and uncomfortable ambiance. Furthermore, the cleaning service was not up to par, as amenities were not properly refilled, and certain areas, like the glass and other items, were neglected during housekeeping.

Adding to my dissatisfaction, the cordless phone in my room was not functioning, despite repeated complaints. Additionally, the maintenance of the bathroom was lacking, as the bathroom dryer was not working, further adding to the inconveniences.

The standard for drinking water was inconsistent during my stay. On the first day, water was provided in glass bottles, which seemed environmentally friendly, but the next day, plastic bottles were used instead, which was quite puzzling and not in line with sustainable practices.

The size of the toilet area was disappointingly small, making it uncomfortable to use. The overall communication at the reception was also confusing and lacked transparency, leading to frustration in resolving any issues that arose.

However, there were a few bright spots during my stay. The breakfast team was exceptional, providing excellent service and making the dining experience enjoyable. Sadly, the same level of quality was not maintained in the hotel's restaurant. While the menu offered a wide variety of options, the actual availability of dishes was limited, leaving a lot to be desired.

The hotel's dynamic pricing policy was also a letdown, as it seemed to prioritize profit over fair pricing for guests. This left me feeling like the hotel was not fully committed to customer satisfaction or treating guests fairly.

The only reason I would give this hotel a three-star rating is because of the courtesy and professionalism displayed by the staff. Despite the issues I encountered, the hotel staff were polite and tried their best to address my concerns.

In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Westin was underwhelming due to the lack of proper facilities, cleanliness issues, and inconsistent service. While the breakfast team and staff courtesy were commendable, these positive aspects were overshadowed by the overall dissatisfaction I experienced. I hope that the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and makes significant improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for future guests.

Ornate hotel with a big ball room. Acoustics need improvement. Service is good but the banquet cuisine lacks the Hyderabadi touch even in desserts

For buffets it should be renamed as wastein.
Better look at the road side stalls outside they serve far better food.
Had been there during some rajasthani food festival with some guests.

Even the tea served was ridiculous

The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, is not a  Hotel.
I stayed here 3-4 times.
They always try to upgrade your room so to give you non maintained or non priority room, whjte sofa in Westin room is stinking and without headrest same with bed. They will always give highest floor/lowest floor and corner room and far away from lift. There rooms with balcony will be noisy. Room service gives plate and cutlery after 45 minutes when your food is cold. I called 4 time to room service and in 1st call they said it takes 10 minute only.
In Room minimum color used, only a lotus flower pic behind bed.
2 days I got fruit rotten inside apple and plum in breakfast, so fruit are not fresh.

Hotel is too good and the location are near to my resident service is 5star and hotel is too clean and interiors are very attractive location is raheja mindspace vittal rao nagar madhapur hyderabad

The food was great. Location is in the heart of the Hi-Tech city area and very easy to find. Service was top notch as well.

This rating is entirely for food as I have had that only there. Being a star hotel it has not even close to the typical local restaurants

Had a great family stay. MARRIOT is best in hospitality business. It's a previlage and pride to be a club Marriott member.

Food is good. There are so many options to go for.ambiance is too good. I went in the Christmas time and the decoration was awesome

Great ambience and an equally great spread for their Sunday brunch. A lot of variety and most are quite delicious. The appam was not up to the mark and the dessert spread could have been improved. But the service was wonderful, the staff were very attentive and tried to fulfill all our requests. There was live music and lots of xmas decor. Will definitely visit again.

This is based on the experience of training hosted by our company in Westin. Basically this place doesn't have two wheeler parking and need to park at risk outside hotel. There is no security and anyone can take it. Being such big hotel not having space for parking is shame on it. Beside this breakfast served was idly and vada is utterly waste, no taste and or neither hot. Just imagine they served chutney ice cold and idly, Wada, sambar cold and dry. Normal udipi hotel provide better breakfast. Lunch (soup, curries, started, etc) was bland waste except for chocolate brownie. We are not even free to use coffee vending machine, always one person secures it. There is snacks provided. Felt Sheraton was lot better which address all the concerns except for breakfast (same problem exists here as well). Beside this restroom is not properly maintained.
