Udipi's Upahar

I have tried Manchurian here, it was bitter and too much oil, next day i got through infection due to oil.never go here, there is no hygiene and poor quality oil they are using.

This used to be good hotel, however during today's visit I obsered they need improvement in taste.

Never order from this place. They always miss something and swiggy or Zomato won't refund.

Their dosas are crispy perfection, and the sambar is a burst of traditional taste. Tried their ghee karam Idli also, it was very soft and fluffy.
The ambiance is warm, and the service is prompt.
A go-to spot for South Indian cuisine lovers.

Poor taste and ambience! Dosas were sour, rasam and sambhar had just oil and masala in it, appam was not properly cooked. Instead of adding all South Indian cuisine, kindly look into improving the taste and flavours.
Avoid this place if you are looking for an authentic Udupi hotel!

Too cost. Staff won't serve the food wearing Hand gloves. 2idly costs 42 rupees. It's not the real taste of Udupi style. Don't go just with the name.

Poor experience. The food was also not up to the mark (when compared to other Udupi). The staff here is a turnoff. They're not at all welcoming. They talk very rudely, specially the people in the kitchen who serve the food from the counter. You guys need some serious training.
The Kurma in the puri Kurma was very watery.it looks the SOP's are not being followed.
Unavailability of certain items was also a setback. Schezwan Dosa and Masala dosa were fine. A lot of staff was just roaming here and there which makes it look more crowded.
Please reduce your manpower as it makes it very congested.

I like Idli the most here being served with a plucker for hygiene. Chapati served in Ameerpet is very good but chapati is not as good in any other branches as Ameerpet Udipi in lane next to OBC Bank & opposite to Aster Hospital.

This is a very good place for breakfast and lunch and the food is yummy and delicious. If you order Poori Sabji then ypu get 3 pooris but unlimited time curry. They also serve the pooris hot and they are 2 much tasty

The food is good and price is reasonable. It's on main road. Parking is also available in front of restaurant for 3-4 cars and motorcycle. Juice is also available here. They also provide good tea. On request, they provide tea without sugar. Udupi's Uphar provides only vegetarian food.

Warm welcome, Nice food. To know facts- On the main road, open parking, Value for money, simple authentic home food is served via thali. Ghee or Pickle on request basis. Special Needs: Restaurant on first floor, lift is available however need to climb to ground floor. (7 Steps).

Very nice food and homely ambience. Udipi just satisfy the perfect Dosa cravings. Also this place serves the best Sambar.
The filter coffee is to go back for again and again.

I took parcel yesterday and all my tiffins are packed very well. You get breakfast with reasonable prices with both quality and quantity.

I know its a bit odd to post this pic against a tiffin center, but this beautiful rose tree was there at this place which i happen to click so posted it! Sorry i forgot to click the idli/vada and poori i had there. But believe me they were also equally delightful and lip smacking

The food is good but they microwave the idly before serving which as a per someone born and raised in South India, I feel is a crime. Idly is to be served hot right out of the steamer

The service is really bad. The staff is rude. They don't care about their customers. When you're paying 50 bucks for a plain dosa, you at least expect good customer service. But this is just another over priced tiffin place. Street vendors are far better than them! Highly kot recommended.

If you are a dosa and filter coffee type of person this is the spot where you wana be every morning

Good food with proper hygiene. Prices are bit high compared to normal tiffin centres, but worth the taste!

Awesome taste. Very hygienic. Being a Manglorean, I would definitely say that Udipi's Upahar serves authentic Udipi and Mangalore taste.

This is the outlet in Hyderabad I love dining with my family. My two kids go berserk when they come here. They love Roti and paneer butter Masada. I like all the south Indian delicacies available here. The people working here have a sweet and humble demeanor. I like the official named Mr. Basant Kumar in their Kondapur outlet.

Ordered vada and poori parcel but I requested to give her 2 paper plates which they are serving for people who eat there, but the lady charged me 20 rs for 2 plates, very rude behaviour by staff food was ok

Dosa, idli sizes are small. Not sure, if the sizes are reduced to recover the loss had happened during covid lockdown or it was like that before as well.

A very good place for South Indian veg lovers. Love their dosas and tomato bath! Reducing one star as there is scope for improvement in their veg thali!

Food was tasty but when one big coconut shell came in food which caused me a severe ache and we talked to the staff, first we experienced ignorance and later the manager had no solution of the situation but told us that its just a coconut shell. It can come in coconut chutney anytime.

South Indian and north Indian thalis are good. South Indian Tiffin's are good specially their wada and masala dosa along with their chutneys and sambhar are good. The only thing the price of their idli and wada are on higher side.

Very few no frills outlets like this providing simple food in Hyderabad. Udipis Upahar will never disappoint. Sambar idlis, Mysore masala dosas, South Indian Meals etc all under one roof, not to mention some really good filter coffee.

This hotel people doesn't know the difference between bismillah bath and Sambar rice, asked for bismillah bath and the served with Sambar rice and said to me both are same. Pathetic taste I don't suggest anyone to go to this hotel

Decent enough food one can get here. Place is always full and as the name suggests, the food here is based on karnataka style. Table sharing at ground floor and personal table available in first floor. Not a very upscale restaurant.

Taste is good but poor service when compared to other Udupi branches.

Worst service.taking much time for self service.

After taking token from cash counter, i have token to person at self service point. He informed in kitchen after 25 min. There is no rush at all.

We have been here numerous times as it is pure veg.place. Food is good and service is good too. Infact this is the only place that comes to mind for Pure Veg. Restaurant in Kondapur Gachibowli area for good South Indian and North Indian food.

Sambar served with Dosa is of good taste. Idly price is expensive compared to other options available in the near by restaurants.

Udupi uphara is a perfect place for a breakfast or you go for a quick meal.
They have an eatout area on the ground floor which is self serviced and a family AC full service restaurant on the first floor. We ordered there fried idli spl dosa vada sambhar poori subji podi idli etc.on a breakfast just to taste all variety of the shop. It was all of premium.quality.during busy hour just felt bit a problem due to parkinv space non availability.

One of the good places to have authentic South Indian food. It's the best place to get tasty South Indian food at very affordable prices. The place is always filled of people of all ages, good for both family as well as friends. You have to share tables with other people here, because the place is always full of people.

% veg restaurant is with full of quality staff, arrangements and more is super awesome. U find the most of the tiffeen recipies with some snacks and juices also with dhaba food. Able to receive cool drinks here if u want to buy.

Amazing place to have south Indian food at very affordable prices.you got lots of varieties. And also the prices are very low as compared to another restaurant. You can also purchase through Zomato. The food quality and quantity is good. Just give it a try if you like south Indian food.

The taste has sinked.earlier it was the best in the area.no idea about the Tiffins now but the south Indian thali is not worth 85/- Dal & sambar has no taste.

Very busy restaurant. You have to wait for atleast 10-15 mins to collect it from counter. And yes it is a self serving one. All the south indian food are yummy and tasty but the chaat counter was pathetic. Most of time the place is crowdy so one can guess it's food quality from that.

Chatney and sambar taste was good but soda was mixed either in idly or sambar because I was burping a lot after half an hour of eating.

Food is nice hygiene is good only thing is the service at times is very slow. Have tried mostly ever thing very good budget friendly place

Good food. Only some kannada varities are available in evening section. Would have been good if bonda and bajjis where there:)
