Bharat Sevashram Sangh

The behaviour of the owner of Bharat Sevashram Sangha is really bad, it's quite unexpected as it is a charity.
He does misbehaves with all the visitors as well as the people staying there.
He treats other like beggar, and there is no point of doing so because no one is staying there for free. It's a paid ashram.
The experience of me and my family is really bad.

It's a nice place to stay in Varanasi. Clean and clear everywhere. All are very nice behaved. My try to take Prasad atleast once.

AC Rooms (Rs 1200/day) and Non Ac rooms (Rs 600/day) can be booked by spot booking only basis availability. Veg lunch and dinner available at Rs. 50. Place is close to Sigra stadium bus stand and autos are available from Gate for temple visit and other sightseeing. Gate closes at 10pm.

A place near Varanasi Junction to stay.
It is cheap. No online or pre booking is offered.

Nice place to stay it's a religious place so don't expect it as a five star hotel. Rooms are very big and a common bathroom there. Geysar can be used during winters. They also serve lunch and dinner which are made on mud stove and very delicious. Very big place u don't have to book it previously just direct go there if it's empty u will get a room.

We booked an AC room for about 1200/- was an awesome experience, spiritual place and nice for family

I like this Ashramam. This is very good.and Big also.so that Pilgrims may get rooms during peak seasons also. Swami who maitains ashramam seems to be proudish. Actually he is very kind hearted. They charge Rs 100/person per day (only for accommodation). This is around 1.5 Km from Varanasi Junction Railway station. Auto wala may charge 100-200. I observe that mostly Bengalis stay in this ashramam.

Pros
* They have wooden cots in Rooms. 2 persons can sleep in this cots. They also provides beds, bed sheets & Pillows.
* They have attached bathroom facility at every bathroom.
* Maintenance is good.
* They have common geezer facility (not at bath rooms). Who ever wants hot water, they can get.
* They have their own Canteen. We can get Lunch & Dinner (No Break fast facility). We should inform earlier.for Lunch we have to get token by 10 o clock & for Dinner it is by 6 o clock. They are charging Rs 50/Meal. Lunch serving time is 12: 30 & Dinner time is 9 o clock.
* This ashramam runs by Bengalis. They serve Bengali food.
* Auto is available 24/7 from here. It is flexible to go to railway station during night time also.
* Homeopathy doctor is also available in ashramam at specific timings. It is easy to get treatment for basic health problems.
* Their is a provision to dry our wet cloths.ropes is available.

Cons

* The main disadvantage is it is not near to viswanadh temple. You have to get another auto to go to temple. Service auto person will charge Rs 20 to temple. Reserve auto wala will charge Rs 100.who ever is comfortable with this. I recommend to stay in this ashramam.
* Rats problem is there
* As i said They serve Bengali food at their canteen. It might be difficult for south Indians

Its a place full of serenity totally opposite to that of the streets of banaras best for aged people also they provide you lunch and dinner they have a coupon system for it.

Bharat sevashram sangha is really a very good place to stay. A beautiful calm and quiet place with spiritual atmosphere. Rooms are well. Foods are also very tasty.

This place is quite tidy (obviously from outside). But the inside tells a different story. Rooms are very poor. Bathrooms are like hell. Only one common dustbin is available for I guess four or five rooms. You can find mental peace here but besides of mental peace you will find nothing. Oh there are lot of monkeys out at the lawn. You can play with them. And the food served is not bad also. You'll get free rooms here. But all free things are not good.
And yes this is a genuine review.

This place is a setup of Bharat Sevashram Sangh in Varanasi. Situated in the centre of the city the place is a 'yes' place for many Bengali Community people.

Durga Puja of this place is one of the attraction.

It is indeed a very nice place to stay for all the pilgrims who are planning to visit Varanasi and take a holy dip in river ganga.

Its very cool and calm place in Sigra area of varanasi on the road side just near Sahid udyan park. It has its branches in all over the world. Generall it becomes very rush in Durga Pooja time people come from all over India and stays there in Durga Poja they themselve celebrate huge Durga Pooja in the campus.

This is a great place to get rid off by the touts and this is best place to stay and plan your trip.
It is well maintained and very peaceful place.
People who are spiritual, can find out this place very comfortable.
This is nice place to be relaxed for few minutes.

It is one of the oldest serving Ashram in India which serves almost all the section of the society. The service here is best. The building here depicts the old architectural system of India which was mostly contributed by The Britishers. The meal here is very cheap and delicious and the arti that takes place in the evening will surely bring inner peace

A little far from the ghats but a great religious place for pilgrims here at Varanasi. Calm and quiet place inside the ashram with peaceful atmosphere in the religious capital of India.

If u don't want to get reap off by the touts dn this is best place to stay n plan Ur trip. It's value for money. Highly recommended.

Grate place to stay as pilgrims and have meals (prosad) and don't forgate to donate unconditionally because they will not ask for money, yours altruism will make these places and their efforts great.

Great place. It is well maintained and very peaceful place. People who are religious or spiritual can find this place very comfortable.
