An ancient place that traces it's origin in Satyug, it is said the Hindu God Brahma, decended to this place and before creating the world we live in, he did tapasya (meditation), there is a deep hole at the stone embankment were devitees make offering and holy water from the flowing Ganga river is poured into the hole and offered to God Brahmaji, there is also a Shiva temple nearby, you can also take a motor boat ride on the vast river which is a wonderful experience, Bithor finds mention in Upanishads and is a famous piligrimage centre

Ghat mandir is good but the ghat condition is not good. So many boatman and boat were there so that the water is not cleaned in ghat area. In other side it might be cleaned but in main stairs area it was dirty.

Brahmavart ghat is one of the holiest place in kanpur. Most devotees visit that place during shravan month to seek blessing.

This Ghat Is very old and historical place of worship in Maa Ganga River bank you can visit to see the beauty of this temple.

Perfect ghat for Mundan and for other rituals, I was here on 24th May 2021 for Mundan. Clean and clear area, water of Ganga in the particular ghat was clear, boating facilities were available at 20₹ per person, which is affordable and justified.

It is holy place for bathing. The many people worship here for thier well being. The bithoor ghat is also known as brahmavart ghat. The Mahaarti daily happens here. At evening and morning it is very peaceful place untill the festives came. The Bithoor is historical place and Also related with Rani lakshmibai. Many people takes bath here and oath for good well being. People can spent their noon and eve here.

The locals are thieves, always asking for money. Place is dirty and filthy. Ganga is muddy here and doesn't look inviting.

This small ghat is located in Bithoor town along the mighty Ganges and has the small temple of Lord Bramha. The ghat is situated at the end of a narrow alley like lane surrounded by numerous shops selling religious ware. Bithoor is a small town by the banks of river Ganga and holds lot of historical and spiritual importance. Most importantly, this is the town where Ramayana was written.

A must place to visit if you are around near Bithor or Mandhana or Kalyanpur.you will feel peace of mind at the shore on almighty Ganga ji.

Bithoor: - According to Hindu mythology, it is the birthplace of Luv and Kush, Ram's sons. Bithoor is situated on the right bank of the Ganga, and is the centre of Hindu pilgrimage.

Be careful of cheap type pandits and gang who will con you out of money in the guise of rituals. Negotiate a deal before commiting to these ppl. Otherwise the ghat is a clean and serene place.

This is the main Ganga river ghat of Bithoor, where the temple of Brahma is situated, and you can have darshan of "Brahma Khuti" at this temple. Lots of monkeys are there, whom you can feed. Many people take holy dip into the river Ganga here and worship Ganga and Brahma temple

The ghat is situated at the end of a narrow alley like lane surrounded by numerous shops selling religious ware. People take a dip in Holy Ganges and pray to Lord Brahma. This is said to be one of the oldest ghats. You can hire boats to take a trip on the river. Be careful when you take children and senior citizen near the water as the steps are quite steep. The lane has a toll collection point and I would advise you to park your car by the road side and walk down rather than paying the toll only to get stuck inside the narrow alley.

It's a great place for visitors.its famous for many reasons but I am influenced by Nana Rao park and mahakaleshwar ghat.its not only historical but also devotional so it's a great choice for visitors

Nice place to visit for the peace of mind and bath in water of ganga River.this place is a picture of old kanpur. I visited here with friends and fully enjoyed.

This holy ghat is renovated as pacca ghat has down stairs to reach holy river Ganga. Water is hardly waist height deep across the river. Dirty water diverted to holy river needs to be stopped. Silt and fine sand accumulated on downstairs of ghat has moved the holy river some 50 feet away from banks. Approach way can be made beautiful by just removing the accumulated sand and dirty water.

THIS BEAUTIFUL GHAT AT bithoor, kanpur is one of the heritage of india.which is connected to history of india.it was an home of nana saheb. The ghat is constructed hundreds of years ago.in british rule and today also it is like that as jt was hundred of years ago

Namami Gange totally a failure here.lots of waste accumulated here can be seen.on the other hand if tale of mythology are to be considered then here along with Ganga river here is a temple of Lord Brahma very famous.

Instead of so much significance of the place (according to hindu mythology) the local government is not making any effort to preserve or maintain this place.

Ghat - no proper arrangement, Ganga Ji very dirty
Roads - Very narrow and no arrangement for parking. I got stuck for one hour.

A place having importance in history of country. It has its place in pre British era, as well as in mythology. But unfortunately its in very poor condition.

One of best ghats in kanpur. Situated on the bank of the river ganga. Place is very beautiful and pleasant during monsoon. Bhramha khooti is said to be the centre of the world. Water of river ganga is clean here. So many other attractions and things to do around this place. Away from the crowd of the city. Peaceful and pleasant.
