Chandrabhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya was established on February 10,1995. Earlier the institute was affiliated to CSJM University, Kanpur. In 2009, the college received permanent affiliation from Lucknow University.
Chandrabhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya offers B. Sc.in Agriculture and M. Sc.degree in four specializations namely Horticulture, Extension, Agronomy and Soil Science.

इस कॉलेज में सिर्फ पैसे के लिए पढ़ाई की कराया जाता है बाहर से इसका फैकेल्टी अच्छा है लेकिन अंदर से उतना ही खराब है यह एक बिग्रेड का कॉलेज है जिसे कभी भी आईसीआर का मानता प्राप्त नहीं हो सकता है भूल से भी इस कॉलेज में एडमिशन ना लें

Excellent Nice to know an institution. I recall Sri Gupt who dedicated his life in institutions building in lucknow may they be Bal Vidya Mandir Natioal College libraries in lucknow. Old days have become history how leaders of those days helping education culture etc.

College facilities are very good, College is situated in a pollution free area. You will learn lots of subject in this college. Practicals are very must to do for every student. Teachers are very supportive with each and every student.

Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya is situated in a pollution free rural environment at Lucknow-Sitapur-Delhi Highway (NH-24) at about 20 Km in the north from Charbagh Railway Station and in front of Bakshi Ka Talab railway station, connected with easily available rail and road transport.
The origin and development of this college goes back to a fascinating idea of Former Chief Minister of U. P. Late Shri C. B. Gupta, who wished to establish Agricultural Degree College besides Bakshi Ka Talab Inter College, of which he was the President.
As such to perpetuate the memory of the Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta, it was established by the Shiksha Samiti with active support of Bharat Seva Sansthan also established by Late Sri Gupta. Ex. M. P.and the then president of Bharat Seva Sansthan, Dr. M. M. S. Siddhu, General Secretary Shri Umakant Mishra and present President of Bharat Seva Sansthan than and Hon'ble Manager of the college Sansad Sadasya Shri Bhagwati Singh made strenuous efforts in fulfilling the wishes of Gupta ji.
On 10th February 1995, the Chief Minister Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav laid the foundation stone of this college and named it in honour of Late Gupta ji as Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyala, which is registered and affiliated to C. S. J. M. University, Kanpur and University Grant Commission (UGC).
From 1 July 2009, the college is affiliated to Lucknow University under the revised Uttar Pradesh State University Act.

I'm doing graduation from this college. Teachers are here friendly, co-operative in nature and try their best ways to teach us. Day by day our CBG Ag pg college infrastructure and way of teaching improves.
