This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. Food is pretty good, some Indian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
Since Last 5 years i was having half plate assorted pakoras but today they refused. I said it will be wasted I can’t eat so much. To my surprise they said let it be our management has stopped
Once again this restaurant failed to serve good quality food. I ordered Deluxe thali this time as you can see in image.rotis are burned. No curtesy to give butter roti in Rs 348 thali, portions were very small, although it was manageable but taste was like dirt, totally disaster, not visiting again.not recommend
Damn very expensive. They cheat you as well. We ordered normal chicken sandwich (Rs. 170) but were charged for grilled chicken sandwich (Rs. 275). When questioned they said we were served grilled ones without our consent. Also, waiters are greedy for tip, won't leave you without it.
Food was awesome, we ordered pizza, grilled sandwiches, veg noodles, assorted pakodas and Tea in the evening. In morning we had ordered aloo paranthas which was served with Curd & Pickle. Every single dish was very yummy. Loved the place & food both
Loved the Place.this place is packed mostly on weekends and you have to wait for 15-20 mins to get your table and the menu is fabulous you can have all breakfast.lunch and dinner options.the prices here are a little bit high.
Cheetal is nostalgia. The structure and restaurant set up has changed a lot but food remains the same. Khatauli on the way to Rishikesh from Delhi calls for a breakfast stop at Cheetal. They never disappoint.
Cheetal grand has always been our fixed stop while travelling to mussoorie. Their taste, quality and service has been same from decades. What i love the most is their “ SEPARATE TEA “ If you like having a separate tea and not the traditional tea then you must try it out Along with mix pakoras and/or grilled sandwiches.
Allover a good place to hangout with a family if you eat looking for short break while driving from delhi to haridwar or vice versa portion is not worth the quantity and is expensive as per.serving
1 of the worst restaurants that I've ever come across where they also serve insects in South Indian dishes. We ordered 4 items including a Dosa & there was a bee in the sambhar due to which we all were in shock. The owner just apologized once & that's it, there was no compensation given, no complaint taken, absolutely no nothing. This incident happened in February 2021 & finally I'm able to write a review about this. Please be very careful guys whenever you visit this restaurant!
Not much have changed here. Lots of memories. Definitely Recommended if making long trips and you see Grand Cheetal its worth a quick stop to grab something to eat and quick freshen up
The food is a gamble, some things are good some horrible. The kind of service you get depends on which waiter you get, my last visit i had to ask multiple times to even get water. Some get more tables than they can serve and you're left waiting forever, while other waiters just stand and watch you. It's got a candy bar and fishes for kids. I'll been going there for over 20years and the quality of food and service has gone down.
Way too small from the original Cheetal. Service was very lazy. Had to regularly check with them on food and tea. Anyway food was good. Sandwich, Pakora, Paratha were all good. Wish they make the space bigger somewhere else as this space will also be ignored in coming times as Flyover is coming up right next to them.
Food is ok.nothing extraordinary about it.as always the rush is there on weekends but since it's a popular place and seems to have sufficient staff, the services are expected to be fast.sat there for 20 mins without being attended or provided with a menu card.had to report to main desk.than was attended and didn't quiet like the treatment.food is served in appreciable time.taste is same as in other restaurants.
Owned by popular old Cheetal Grand owners, this one has got beautiful atmosphere around. Because of much little area this one will never get repute of the old one with fauna n flora. Food quality is normal, service medium, hygiene good, location on highway, parking great.
Great place! Almost Midway enroute New Delhi to Haridwar on the highway. One of the oldest and best stopover for a quick break to refresh ypurself during road travel on the mentioned sector. Great variety on food, The assorted pakoras are the best apart from many other dishes served. Cool place with lot of flowers pots nicely laid out and also a good ambience within.
Good quality food. Had ordered chicken Tikka masala which came with really generous quantity of chicken, a rare thing these days. Only grouse is the handwash area which is all the way outside.
If you are travelling from Delhi to Dehradun via Modinagar, Meerut route, this place should be your pitstop. The food is amazing, tried veg everytime, it was not disappointing at all. Club sandwich and Paneer Pakoda are good in snacks. The ambience is good and hygienic.
Shadow of the original Cheetal Grand as many of us commuting on that road used to know. Rates are still very high as before, but the food and service is not even near that. Disappointed
