4 years ago, I had severe backpain. A neuro doctor from Pune suggested me to did surgery. Then I consulted Dr. Ravi Shankar. He gave me only medicines and told that surgery is not required. With his medicines I am completely cured from backpain now. Many Many thanks to Dr. Ravi Shankar sir.
All the 5 star reviews are fake, he does not have the manners that how to talk to the patients, he provides very much expensive treatment, I saw many patients in his clinic who were complaining of his treatment and he was misbehaving with them, i request to all please take care of your health and hard earned money.
No provision for 0 star. Lost our father due to callous attitude of Dr Ravi shankar and his team at medanta hospital. On my father’s first visit dated 13.03.19 due to severe back pain and inability to stand up on his own, he suggested that there was no need of any Neuro treatment and referred the case to Dr D. Singh, Physician. This led to deterioration in his condition and loss of power in his legs. On second visit to Ravi shankar on 22.03.19, hospitalisation was advised on our request followed by MRI. The MRI showed severe damage to 2 vertebrae and surgery was planned on 23.03.19. No / inadequate prior checkup’s were conducted. Despite intimating about his diabetic background, there was no effort to work up the patient for surgery. Surgery was conducted in haste and surgery was reportedly successful with no complications. Hospital reported continuous improvement after surgery and no point of time continuously high TLC was brought into our knowledge. He was shifted to private room after one day in HDU. Regular monitoring of vitals and blood tests were conducted daily and we were told that his condition was improving and he was undergoing regular physiotherapist procedure. Any observation about his condition such as constipation, etc.was routinely brushed off as a normal and minor aftereffect of neurosurgery and we were advised that these would subside in their own. On Sunday morning, I.e, 31.03.19, there was bloating in his abdomen and was shifted to ICU for further tests. Within an hour, his BP started falling and we were told that he had developed septicaemia. On cross checking the TLC levels in the ICU, it was seen that the levels had flared immediately to 33-34 thousand on 24th/25th and was continuously above 23-24000 through out his stay showing blood infection. However, no details were shared with us. Pathetic, inept, and callous.
