Yesterday I went to this Dr as I am having shoulder pain and neck pain, Dr i very kind and listens to you patiently and gives you right advice. He listened to me properly then he moved my hand neck and then diagnosed me with the problem.so I would recommend this Dr.
Dr Chandel is thourly knowledgeable and his diagnosis is perfact. As a unit The Rudra hospital in our area is boon for general public because it has 24 hours emergency facility also.
I was diagnosed with ACL complete tear and Meniscus tear as well. I would say Dr SS chandel helped me from initial diagnosis till my surgery and gave me confidence that it will be all ok. It is being 45 days till now and I can see good recovery till date. He is very experienced and would like to recommend him for any bone, joint related issues for sure.
No doubt Doctor is great but staff there is very pathetic. Specially the pharmacy. I went to return the medicine when doctor changed them. Person at pharmacy says that we wont exchange medicine after 7 days.very very pathetic rule. Now those medicines are of no use to me i will just throw them. Also i wont take medicine again from the pharmacy.really very amazing experiance.

Not recommended. I am amazed to see so little critical reviews. I was suffering from Sciatica and was advised for over-diagnosis including MRI with contrast, NCV, and EMG. I was horrid when told that most doctors would advise surgery for this, but the doctor would try and treat me with traditional means (for which I assume I was supposed to be grateful). My medications also included a steroid. I am thankful I went for a second opinion from AIIMS. I was relieved to know this is quite common and I needn’t worry - an X-ray would’ve confirmed the issue for which I nearly paid 16,000 INR in diagnosis. Also my medications were changed. Started with Physiotherapy sessions as well, who confirmed my condition isn’t as bad as I was told. The reviews here and on Practo are both surprising for me.
I recently visited Rudra Hospital for a knee replacement. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially my friend who had the procedure done by Dr. S S Chandel/Orthopedic. I felt like everyone was working as a team and doing their best to make sure that my friend's experience was as painless as possible.
Gr8, my father had bi literal knee suguery from him in kaliash hospital and within 1.5 month my father started walking independently. Dr Chandel is very positive and approachable and even we got his advice on WhatsApp.
When I visited the Rudra hospital, I found the staff was courteous, helpful, and very attentive. Their way of handling patients is excellent and so soothing that the patient feels immensely confident about recovery. I would highly recommend this hospital for treatment.

Dr. Chandel is really a master in his area. He listen to his patients and even attendant with all patience and give answer to all our queries; not like other doctors. He make sure patient is not in any dilemma and provide genuine treatment and guidance.
I first visited Doctor Chandel 2 years back and with the very first visit he proved to be true to his profession. I went for my muscle pain which was instantly looked into and helped with genuine medication (no unnecessary pills to pop).
