My Story - Sunil Dwivedi, Age - 63 Year.
My ear ailment started sometime in early January this year when ear irritation was detected. I consulted Dr. Suman Parmar ENT at her clinic at Mahagun Mart. She cleared both ears of wax. While left ear got cleared, the right ear developed sore and even after 4 visits the sore persisted. Observing no relief from pain, I consulted another ENT Dr. Vikram Bharadwaj at his Elite Mart clinic, sector 77, Noida. He concluded that my ear was infected with fungal infection and came to conclude that if the sore doesn't get treated of medication, there is no option left but getting the same operated upon. As such facilities weren't available at his clinic, he advised us to take the case to Jaypee hospital, Noida. Being a CGHS beneficiary, I got myself referred to Jaypee hospital. My tale of woe increased when I came into contact with Dr. Subodh Kumar, Sr. ENT surgeon. As he had no immediate operational slots available (informed by him only), he continued to put me on medication instead of immediate operation. On contacting Dr. Bharadwaj, he told he can't do anything because Dr. Subodh is senior to him. In the meantime my condition continued to worsen due to lack of immediate need of operation. Suddenly Dr. Subodh opted out and detached himself from operational process leaving my case in the lurch. Absolutely dejected we incidentally came to know of Dr. Mansi Mehra ENT surgeon through Dr. Siddharth of the same hospital. We contacted Dr. Mansi Mehra and from here on my treatment started in the right direction. Her treatment proved to be a boon in disguise. She has an amazing immaculate sense of dutifulness and medical acumen. Immediately removing all kinds of hurdles in ways of operation, she performed the most needed sergery which took almost 4 hours. She managed such an unduly delayed operation with such minute precision that everything turned out well. Generally doctors are believed to be gods on earth for patients, but I personally shower umpteen accolades on *Dr. Mansi Mejra* who came to my rescue in time.
