A Nightmare Experience - Strongly Advise Against Choosing GC Hospital
I had an incredibly traumatic experience delivering my firstborn at GC Hospital, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn others. I chose this hospital in Lucknow based on positive reviews and the reputation of Dr. Rukhsana Khan, a renowned gynecologist. Unfortunately, my journey took a turn for the worse.
Despite a difficult pregnancy with a low-lying placenta and a cord around my baby’s neck, the promised meetings with the anesthesia doctor never happened. On the day of delivery, the hospital’s unpreparedness became glaringly evident. My labor pains started at 1 am, and upon reaching the hospital at 5 am, I found myself at 3 cm dilation with no medical assistance in sight.
To my horror, my baby was delivered at 7: 20 am without a doctor present. The fetal heart rate monitor was dysfunctional, a critical oversight given my specific complications. The nurse in the room was watching YouTube videos instead of attending to the situation. The subsequent stitches administered by Dr. Nahid were excruciating, as no local anesthesia was provided initially.
The extent of medical negligence became apparent when my stitches failed to heal after a month. Another doctor revealed that the wrong stitches had been used, compounding the already agonizing experience. Throughout, the hospital staff exhibited rudeness, lack of training, and a complete lack of coordination among doctors.
Emotionally distraught and physically harmed, I cannot stress enough: DO NOT choose GC Hospital. Even in the aftermath, the hospital’s admin manager, Mr. Anees, displayed a shocking lack of accountability and empathy. I sincerely hope my review serves as a cautionary tale, preventing others from enduring the same horrors I faced.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR DELIVERY! While the senior Dr. Ruksana is an experienced doctor, everyone else here is a scam artist.
My baby was delivered here. My wife arrived at the hospital at 5 am. The doctor (Dr. Nikhat) who supposedly lives 5 mins away did not arrive until 7: 20 am. By then my baby was delivered WITHOUT A DOCTOR PRESENT in the room. Upon arriving the doctor then proceeded to stich up my wife without an anesthesia. We later found out she didn't even use dissolvable stitches and gave no instructions to us that these would need to be cut. I paid for a deluxe room, which had a MOUSE in it. And no water heater in the middle of winter.
Just save yourself the trauma and go somewhere else.
Undergone caesarean surgery of my wife last month. Only Dr. Rukhsana and senior staff is qualified and treat well. Junior staff and nurses are literally not qualified and incompetent. I question their credibility and knowledge. Requesting all expecting mothers to avoid getting caesarean here. Any so called doctors would walk in the room and without any prior knowledge of the patients treatment they start acting smart. One of the doctor got my wife forcefully sat down just after 12 hours of surgery and later realized that it was to be done after 36 hours. The nurses i found were just having hands on experience and would do stuff that the doctor would later scold them for (except few not all) Their pharmacy is dacoit. And one very pet habit of theirs is they'll come up to you saying the baby has jaundice and will refuse to discharge just to make an extra 8-10k for treatment (happened to almost 4 cases that i interacted). Though my family baby dr. Informed us after seing the baby that they pull this trick since they have their own pathology. The hospital can do better if they employ a better staff and junior docs.

I have gone to GC hospital in my 1st month of pregnancy so that I can ease my pregnancy and delivery. In initial days Dr. Rukhsana found in my blood report, increased level of SGPT and SGOT and till last month of pregnancy she assured me that everything is normal. On the day of delivery Dr. Mohita had referred me due to same problem of mild increased SGPT and SGOT for which I am in continuous treatment of Dr. Rukhsana. In every opd she said to me it is normal and there is no problem, even on last visit she said the same assurance. She should refer me in first instance but she looted me more than 50k during more than 9 month treatment by ordering costly USG and blood checkups of no usage. GC referral letter made by Dr. Mohita on the day of delivery when accessed by Senior SGPGI doctor they said it is not the case of high risk pregnancy. Dr. Mohita had very bad behaviour. She made video infront of all the staff of GC hospital to deliberately accept that if patient die she will not be responsible. I have gone to this hospital in initial days of my pregnancy not for these anxious things. Dr. Mohita had not appropriate training of gynecology to deal with normal cases of pregnancy. Request you all never go to this hospital. Prefer any government hospital because they will not harass you.

I am Zahid Ansari from District Sitapur, I had done my brother Riyaz Ahmed's gall bladder operation in laparoscopy in GC Hospital many months ago, he was discharged in just 36 hours and there was no problem, only had to take medicine for 10 days. And after that no medicine had to be taken till today. The operation was completely successful. This hospital has all kinds of facilities. Cleanliness is taken care of here. The rooms here are just like luxury hotels and everyone's language is very sweet. The owner and staff of the hospital are very nice
Hospital is good, n I like the behaviour of Doctors, very supportive staff. Hospital staff is very good they r always ready to help you on a single call.
Best Hospital! Doctors explained each and everything to my father in a very polite manner. Staff and management are very cooperative. Genuine medicines.
