The security of this place is so robust that you can roam around anywhere for any number of times, with whatever you have in your pocket and luggage. But in case you ask them about "where is washroom", then they will check you physically and won't allow things like laptop.

Pathetic police personnel.

The Allahabad High Court was originally established on 17 March 1866 at Agra under the Indian High Court Act 1861 in the British Raj. Sir Walter Morgan was the first Chief Justice of this tribunal established for the North-Western Provinces. In 1869 it was transferred from Agra to Allahabad. Its name was changed to 'Allahabad High Court' on 11 March 1919.

On November 2,1925, the Oudh Judicial Commissioner, with the prior approval of the Governor General of the Oudh Civil Court Act, 1925, got it enacted by the United Provinces Legislature and replaced this court with the name of Oudh Chief Court in Lucknow. The decision of the historical case of Kakori case was given in Awadh Chief Court, Lucknow itself.

On 25 February 1948, the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly passed a resolution requesting the Governor General to merge the Awadh Chief Court, Lucknow and the Allahabad High Court. As a result of this, both the (main and high) courts of Lucknow and Allahabad came to be known as 'Allahabad High Court' and all its work started from Allahabad. Yes, it definitely happened that a permanent bench of the High Court was allowed to remain in Lucknow so that government work would not be disturbed.

When the state of 'Uttarakhand' was formed in 2000, thirteen districts of Uttarakhand were removed from the jurisdiction of the High Court and attached to the 'Uttarakhand High Court' whose headquarter is in 'Nainital'.

Mediation is the process by which the participants together with the assistance of a neutral person or persons, systematically isolate disputed issues in order to develop options, consider alternatives and aim to reach a consensual agreement that will accommodate their needs. It is a confidential, voluntary and participatory process. The parties to the dispute have an opportunity to ventilate their grievances and feelings through the process of mediation and thereafter tailor the solution to their unique circumstances and demands. The Mediator does not impose any solution but creates a favorable environment to enable the parties to resolve their dispute themselves amicably.

WHAT IS MEDIATION?
Mediation is a voluntary party-centered and structured negotiation process where a neutral third party assists the parties in amicably resolving their dispute by using specialized communication and negotiation techniques. In mediation, the parties retain the right to decide for themselves whether to settle a dispute as also the terms of settlement. Even though the mediator facilitates their communication and negotiation, the parties always retain control over the outcome of the dispute. The entire process is confidential. The Settlement, accepted by the Court, is binding on the parties to the Settlement and can be enforced as Court’s order/decree.
