Had a wonderful stay at the HotelTaj villa. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect for exploring the Taj and enjoying the nightlife. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
The most horrific was the staff behaviour. Absolutely untrained, starting from reception to the helpers. I paid close to 4k for each room. I took 2 rooms for 2 days. Checked-out after 1 day. The rooms are very small. The kitchen in the basement stinks. The tea cups had dead cockroaches. Breakfast doesn't have variety at all. Aaloo-puri and poha were served. Poor car parking in open. They will not provide extra tea bags and water bottles in the room. Very pathetic experience overall.
It may not be a 4* or 5* hotel (and one can obviously make out from the Price), but Taj Villa - Agra is an excellent value for money hotel which provides you all you really need as a tourist to Agra. If want to see Agra and Taj Mahal instead of doing Spa in a 5* resort, it may be a great choice for you! All Staff - restaurant manager Dileep, Front desk Pradeep, housekeeping and all manners of help from Satyaban and finally the owner / GM Mr. Jitendra, everyone is Welcoming, accommodating and always willing to help. Their behaviour makes your stay really worthwhile and blissful. Strongly recommended as a not too expensive but modern hotel.
Clean hotel, comfortable rooms, tasty food. Close to the Taj Mahal. However, the terrace is no longer developed and is an ordinary roof. Shops nearby. I recommend it - one of the better hotels on my tour of India.
The staff is good and the restaurant serves food not tasty even also so expensive. Rooms having no any ventilation very bad smell. The towels are very old and rough, the lobby and halls smell like an old fish tank, and there were bugs in the room. Pool water very dirty full with moscikots, charging extra rupees for pool attires rent, also not having proper pools kits.
Worst experience with the dining handwash. They kept the washroom locked up in dining area. When they opened a room, it smelled like a garbage warehouse. We lost the interest on dine and got vomiting sensation. No proper bathroom hygiene is maintained there.
One of the worst hotel rooms I experienced in recent times. Rooms are very small, people can barely walk past each other in the room. No proper hot water, not sure how they rate themselves 3 star hotel. Definitely not worth the price.
I went to this place with a bunch of girls. We stayed there for 2 days and 3 nights. I loved almost everything about this Hotel. Services were top-notch, breakfast was good, hygiene was fully maintained. There are some good places as well nearby to visit. I would highly recommend others to stay at this place once.
It was a horrible experience. To start with, there were mosquitoes around. The room had no window or ventilation system. The towels and beds were stained. The internet and TV stopped working. They did not have anything for kids as far as food was concerned. The hot water was out on a cold winter day. The phones did not work so no way to contact reception. Breakfast was limited and cold. No hygiene was maintained. There was nothing again for kids. The silverware were dirty so were the tea/coffee mugs with stains, the plates had stains. Not worth even a single penny Couldn't eat at all. Basic amenities were not there. Horrible experience. If there was something less than 1 star would have given that compared to the room rates. Never staying here ever again and highly NOT recommended.
Taj Villa Hotel in Agra is located in a very DIRTY surrounding, our stay was very unpleasant. Upon our arrival we requested early check-in at the reception and were told very rudely that once the room was available we will it. Once we were given our rooms we did not have running hot water, we informed front desk and were informed they could not do anyting had to take cold showers. We ate in the restaurant, the breakfast buffet was limited and cold. During our dinner at the Taj Villa Hotel Restaurant, we got a piece of dish washing metal string in our butter chicken.
The ambience was OK and customer service at front desk was not pleasant.
Beautiful stay! Hotel Taj villa is a perfect place to stay. It is close to the Taj Mahal and the railway station. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. Cheerssss
A good budget hotel near by Taj mahal, Hotel Staffs are very supportive, Service is very good. Food is also very tasty. Over all a great experience, value for money.
Went to Hotel Taj Villa for the first time few days ago. I absolutely loved it! This is my kind of place, delicious & healthy food, excellent service, charming atmosphere. The owner was very welcoming & the staff was so nice. I will absolutely come back on my next trip here
I've stayed here many times.the rooms are neat and clean.very cooperative staff. Amazing facilities including swimming pool. The food is also Amazing and very Delicious.
Best place, i have been stayed at. This hotel have a swimming pool in the basement and they clean it regularly. Also their staff is really good, polite and professional. I would suggest everyone to stay here, for calm and peaceful stay.
The hospitality of the staff was appreciable. Everyone was very humble and helpful. The infrastructure of the Hotel is pretty and the food is also good. And all this is very economical. Had a good stay.
Worst place to stay and pics shared on MakeMyTrip were all fake and very different from actual hotel.its not a 4 star hotel.property seems like low budget oyo rooms. Room stinks and Acs dont work.overall experience was pathetic.
The pool view restaurant and roof top area are great for taking photos and views of the city in the morning. The staff here setting up had a chat too which was nice. Thankyou for our stay in Agra. I highly recommend this property!
The hotel had all amenities mentioned on the website, However, nothing was in place appropriately. Rooms were having mosquito, shower had a problem, kettle had to be replaced, Ac gas was over which was refilled as we went out. Initially it was a challenge. Later, things were sorted as we asked. Service in the room was at an average speed however restaurant was extremely slow. We had to keep on waiting for very long time post placing any orders. The staff otherwise was friendly except for a technical person who came to repair AC (he literally started fighting with us, which was unpleasant). USP of the room was a big bathroom which was appreciated. Toiletries were available. The towels didn't appear really clean, moreover we saw staff using the used towel to clean the bathroom mirror and washbasin. Location of the hotel was fine. Food was at an expensive side. Breakfast buffet was mediocre. No washbasin for hand wash was there. Swimming pool was small but was maintained nicely. However, no shower area was there. Absolutely average experience. If you want a hassle free experience, not recommended. In case you can accommodate challenges, you can stay here.
The front office staff specially mr.deepak pant has a very cooperative nature and behaviour towards the customers he treats like its own family he also cooperates with the customers properly would like to visit again and again.
I've stayed in Taj villa many times.the rooms are neat. The staffs are very cooperative.hygiene is maintained. Especially Mr Deepak pant is very cooperative in every aspect. Amazing facilities including swimming pool. The food also tastes amazing.
Stayed here for almost 10 days and it was an amazingly smooth and comfortable stay. The room service was smooth, the reception was supportive, the pool was cool. Liked it. Staying here again, for sure, if I come back to Agra. Plus, the study table and the extra one seater sofa was super helpful for a person like me who had to stay back in room for work for some days.
