Kerla cafe, this place is delicious, worth visiting, South Indian food is excellent & quite reasonable. Hygiene wise good, overall experience was pretty good

Their filter coffee is such a relief for visitors from the south of the country. Masala dosas tasted good. Definite recommendation for filter coffee lovers!

Kerala cafe restaurant service is not good or any food here is tasteless or cost recording is not good at all.

It's actually an old favorite of mine. Been dining since >20yrs. The quality has gone down a bit. Though the waiters had hair nets on, there was a hair in the water glass. Also despite ordering extra bhatura, took time to serve so the chole got cold by then. Taste and value for money gets you a yummy experience.

The worst food. Ordered masala dosa and rawa dosa. They give spoiled food and not accept it.
Not recommended to anyone.

Had a Rava Masala Dosa and filter coffee. Being from South i would rate Rava Masala Dosa at 4 given that we atleast get to eat Dosas here in Varanasi in proper South Indian style.

Coconut chutney had too much ginger added in it. This can be reduced and balanced to make it taste pleasant.

Filter coffee was not all that satisfying as it didn't have the filter coffee aroma and the exact taste of a standard South Indian filter coffee. Hotel can obtain a proper coffee powder blend to make the coffee experience better.

Awesome food and ambience. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Varanasi when it comes to South Indian food. I visit again and again and never get bored

Best place in varansi to have south indian food. Its the pehchan of varanasi.quite busy place on holidays, so go only when have ample time.and nothing can match the taste. The price may seem low for the taste value that it gives you.

We visited the cafe with my relatives few days back
The restaurant is not at all as per our expectations. The Idly was hard, Uttapam was burnt and masala dosa was pathetic. We went their to enjoy authentic south Indian dishes but it disappointed us. It was our first visit at cafe and hopefully last.

Pretty ordinary. One would expect some nice food from kerala but it just had regular dosas and idlis. No appams or parrottas. Well the least you would expect from a Kerala cafe is to have filter coffee. Nope, none.

If one wants to take the essence of South Indian food, this is a place to be.
Although sometimes one has to wait for a long time to get a table.

Nice south Indian food in Varanasi. The service is good and food is tasty. Cost is very affordable and it's not very expensive. Parking place available for bikes.

In sixteen years it has been upgraded so much. From fan to AC, simple table chair to sofas. Overall now it's a very good ambience now.

This is very famous restaurant for south indian cuisine in Banaras. Hygienic and good seating. I waited 25 mins to get a table cant say what happens when peak crowd hit. I tried coconut utpam which was good and cold coffee with ice cream. My experience was good.

Rawa Onion Masala Dosa was a bit oily as compare to other places. Idli was good. Ambience was ok.

Over hyped.
The waiters don't listen to you. If you ask for a refill, they will make sure either your food gets over or it becomes too cold to eat.
The taste has surely gone down.

Food quality was okay. Not that of a crazy food in which one goes ballers. I’d suggest to go for the coffee, it’s undoubtedly the best.

If you are in Varanasi and think of eating South Indian food the first name comes in your mind is Kerala Cafe. They serve one of the best Rawa Masala Dosa with an option to take unlimited Sambhar and Chatni. Went there last week on by visit to India back from Ireland. The taste was very good. They have done some renovation during the last year lockdown and the ambience feels good too. Do try this once if you are in Varanasi.

Food quality and taste was good but no one follow the rules of covid 19. Receptionist and waiters are not wearing mask, social distancing is not following.

This place is really nice and cozy. It serves best South Indian food in Varanasi. You should visit it if you are looking for some nice south Indian food.

This place was a pleasant suprise and exceeded all my expectations. I am a foodie and South Indian cuisine is one of my favourites. The Rava onion masala dosa I had was the best I have ever had in my life including my stay in South India itself. The place was also very neat and clean and staff was very polite and friendly as well.

South Indian cuisine with lunch of north indian essence. Food is decent but ambience was something which put me off, service was quick and nice coffee to end with. All in all, going by the rating, ok place to visit.

The taste of the food here is not even close to the food served in south india, taste of the food is totally different here in this cafe.
Prices are reasonable.
Its always crowded.

This is such a nice place to have South Indian cuisine at a pretty reasonable price. The ambience is quite good and classic, not too modern and the service is fast enough that you don't starve to death while waiting for your order. Moreover they have a simple and not so elaborate menu to satisfy most of your cravings. And the most important thing, the food is amazing! If you're visiting Varanasi, you must keep this place in your list.

Good place, if you are looking for a restaurant much similar to the family restaurants you get in typical cities and tourist destinations. One can get variety of dishes, have. It's an average looking restaurant but the they serve good food at reasonable price. Few of their items like upma and cold coffee tastes really good. Approximately 150 people can seat in the cafe. The taste, texture smell and presentation of food ambiance service at this elite restaurant is mind blowing. I will definitely recommend this place thanks
