Extremely Disappointed with Stale and Dangerous Food Quality

I recently placed an order through Zomato from the restaurant "Manoj Sweets, " and the experience turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The Rasmalai I received was not only stale but also potentially poisonous! It's astonishing that such a renowned platform like Zomato could allow such substandard and dangerous food to be delivered to its customers.

The Rasmalai tasted off, with a strange and unpleasant texture. It was clearly evident that the quality had deteriorated significantly, indicating a complete disregard for food safety and customer well-being. I am appalled that I was even presented with such a product, let alone expected to consume it.

What's worse is that this incident has left me concerned about the potential health risks I may have been exposed to. The thought of consuming something so clearly spoiled is deeply unsettling. It is the responsibility of Zomato to ensure that the food it delivers is safe for consumption, and in this case, they have failed miserably.

I have lodged a complaint with Zomato's customer support, but their response and handling of the situation have been disappointing so far. The company should prioritize customer safety and take immediate action to rectify this matter. Moreover, the fact that I had to retain the inedible food items for a pickup by their representative speaks volumes about the lack of quality control and accountability in their operations.

I sincerely hope that Zomato addresses this issue promptly and takes concrete steps to prevent such incidents from recurring. As a customer, I feel deeply let down and have lost faith in their ability to provide safe and satisfactory food delivery services.

I strongly advise against ordering from "Manoj Sweets" or relying on Zomato for a reliable and quality food delivery experience. It is essential to prioritize your health and well-being by choosing more reliable alternatives.

I have tried posting multiple comments to you on Swiggy/Zomato about using dalda in fried items but nothing resolved in months.

It's not about 'Top quality dalda'.

It's about 'Dalda'.

I hope you understand when Samosa and bhature are delivered to a Customer they taste and looks like a Papad.

I haven't seen any good restaurant frying samosa and bhature in Dalda.

Dalda is real bad to consume too.

I don't understand whats the problem with soyabean oil. People are using it. Samosa's and Bhature are fried in soyabean.

I have ate at multiple stores but never faced such issues.

Dalda <<< Soyabean <<< Rice Bran << Desi Ghee.

I hope you will do something this time atleast.

Milk cake and rasmalai are my favourite to eat from this shop. Great to see the new branding on the occasion of Diwali.

Samosa taste and quality has been decreased over the years: (

Pathetic service by the staff here, processes are not well followed, no first come first serve rule is followed here, they distribute things in a random manner, even if you're waiting for a long time.

I have tried their famous normal samosa, paneer samosa (they stuff capsicum &paneer in it), jalebi, imarti, badaam milk, lassi and besan laddoo. All tastes really good, they take good care of hygiene. A must try product is samosa. Along with Zomato they also have their own delivery services and charge ₹30.00 per order.

Best of the best samosas I have ever tried. So fresh you can even put them in refrigerator to eat them next day.

Every single item I ordered is perfectly made. Keep it up guys.

This is one of the best sweets shop in the town, take samosa with curd or jalebi in morning this is so famous from the past time. Sweets are also good now these days

Manoj sweets is located in harpal nagar near Gandhi nagar public school. Various types of sweets are available there and they are pf good taste. Cheese snacks are also there. Beverages and tea are also available there. Seats are also there for those who want to taste the sweets and other eatable stuff there. Area is clean and atmosphere of the shop is quite good.

Samosas are great and best in Moradabad. They have variety of snacks such as samosa, kachori, paneer samosa, puri sabji, chats, phulki and many more. Dahi is very good and i always try to have them from here
Rates are very genuine and all items are very good in taste.
They also have sweets with decent variety and lovely taste. And lassi is so delicious
Cleanliness is well maintained and staffs are really good. They have both hygiene and taste under best price.
They also have space to park bike and sitting area to have your snacks and enjoy them.

Sweets quality is degraded since the second generation has started handling the shop. A humble advice: Please focus on quality and maintain the standard which your father and grandfather has maintained.
