Unethical & inconsiderate practice: -
Dr Mehrotra extracted my 1st molar (6th teeth) when i was in my late teens. Tooth extraction caused my left & right face asymmetrical as extraction leads to alveolar bone loss.
I went ahead with extraction as my mother told me that RCT is painful. Dr Mehrotra never explained that how important it is to save the tooth, also that i was too young for extraction & after effects wasn’t explained.
I am writing this review after so many years because I came to know this recently that teeth can affect face shape.
Edit- Dr.didn’t even did ask for xray before extraction and now want an xray? Importance of saving tooth wasn’t informed. Yes, extraction & migration of other tooth leads to sunken cheek & face asymmetry gradually. All dentists & orthodontist shud learn about facial aesthetics too & inform patients in advance. False complaints? I am a “Victim” and i am posting this review to make others aware.
