This is societal welfare in its true sense. As a south indian visitor, I went there only knowing that I could pay 100 and study for ten days but didn't know of the pre-requisites of the documents needed to get those punches. And whilst I was on the precipice of returning, everyone from the security lady who sits at the gate, to the guy who does the punching told me to see the head librarian as they were sensitive about a persons struggle to come far to reach there. I felt amazing by their human touch, they didn't let me return but got me a days admission into the library for the second time. I have my highest respects to such people who encourage reading of any form, and want people to grow. Big ups for this place, really progressive people. The place itself is amazing, boasts of holding 300 students, which imo is a lot. Good drinking water on the ground floor and two air conditioners in the study room which doesnt get very congested by comparison to other study rooms. Add that to a parking place, a place to have food and this is second to none. On top of that one could go out and have group discussions, access to newspapers and magazines, this is a synonym for citizen empowerment as it does all this in a very tight budget. Truly incomparable.
This is the worst library near New Ashok nagar. They are giving 10 punches of cards with the validity of 1 month and they are charging 10 rs per punching that means 100 rs per month, with the validity of 1 month. 10rs - 10 punches-1 month validity- 100rs charge 10rs- 30 punches - 45 days validity- 300 charge In my opinion don't join this library because it's not worth it. Instead of this, go for a private library. This is very crowded and you have to go earlier to get the AC room first and 9am is the starting time.
A well maintained cultural organisation run by some retired officials. Anybody could learn so much here as there are lot of options to read. One must visit it.
Excellent place for everyone who love books, especially for students if you are preparing for government exams and common people if you want to read newspapers and timely journals. They have also started a daily (Rs. 10 per day), monthly & yearly membership but it's worth the money. There are lot of books available in each department and field. They also issue you books for 1 week. Noida public Library has 2 wheeler parking, spacious, healthy & clean environment. Crowd here is mostly aspiring students from nearby places.
