Pathetic service (took almost half an hour to serve just water, even when the restaurant was occupied just to the extent of half of its capacity), tasteless food (too much of mashed potatoes in dosas), unregulated ambience conditioning (kept telling to lower and raise the ac temperature) and bad mannered staff (instead of acknowledging own inefficiency, they kept on telling that that's the way they always work and nobody ever complained).

It's good for south Indian food, other than that North Indian food is also okay here.

The restaurant is located in a very convenient locality. The food quality and taste was amazing and the hospitality was also remarkable. I visited the place with family and it is very kid friendly. All in all a very memorable experience.

The place offers a nice dining experience. The staffs are very cooperative and nice. Roadside location and a busy place. Food quality is nice and food proportions are large for a single person. It's a bit tricky to find the entrance.

Quality of food has detoriated so much that it was not expected from a top brand like Sagar Ratna, when we visited to dine at Varanasi branch of Sagar Ratna today on 5th September 2021
The Rasam was like a Salt and Chili mixture water and Idly was smelling and Vada was very hard, the waiter accepted that the food was stale and complaints are genuine, Dahi Vada which is famous of this brand chain restaurant was no where even close to its earlier taste, even Onion Dosa was with just Raw cut onions sprinkled on the top
We have visited this restaurant several times before but the Quality of food as served today was never expected and was totally disappointing
Hope the Central Team will take note of this complaint and take strict corrective action to maintain their Quality and Goodwill or else they will loose their customers and market share and we dinners will loose a good brand which we always cherished

If you are looking for North Indian, South Indian or Chinese foods just come once. I have tried Veg Noodles and the quality was amazing. No doubt that service is also outstanding in this resturant. I am suppose to rate it 5 stars but I am rating it 4 stars, because of parking.
I recommend for those students who were looking forword to celebrate their Birthdays especially mention my BHU students.

What an amazing, clean and hygenic place! The food is very delicious. Hats off to the chef. I tried Sagar Ratna Deluxe Thali. It had lots of different items and were very tasty. I enjoyed the food. The waiter was very friendly and polite. It also had a different area for celebration like birthday and all. I recommend all of you to visit and enjoy your time there.

One of the best South Indian Restaurants in Lanka area of Varanasi.

Their Mysore Masala Dosa is amazing and 4 dips they are given with is just full of flavors.

They are very cheat. They charge SGST and CGST in takeaway food and they charges higher rate while billing but when you will argue you will always be defeated. Very poor experience. Don't go there guys.

Deep pockets are needed otherwise the place is well equipped with the main course and starters, deserts are delicious too. Though the cook takes some time to prepare.

Sagar Ratna was always in my bucketlist. This place is perfect for south Indian food, beautiful ambience with lovely decor. I love this place, this is the finest south Indian restaurant in Varanasi. Now coming on food they serve All the dishes were good but they need some improvement like in Chinese, Rava keshari, Rasam. Truly work on presentation. Else all were good I will truly recommend u all to try their Dahi items which is Dahi vada and dahi idli. Taste were good staff were cooperative n humble. Service were good. So I will highly recommend you all to visit this place specially for south Indian food lover.

Sagar Ratna is a famous restaurant chain all around North India famous for its South Indian cuisine. The restaurant maintains its quality in terms of cleanliness and taste. It is well decorated and colourfully lit with proper seating arrangements and reserved tables. The staff has a proper dress code and are trained professionals. The crowd is less and mostly filled with sophisticated people including a corporate table and two family tables. The menu had a variety of South Indian and a number of North Indian dishes as well. I ordered idli vada combo which allows you to order 3 pieces of idli or vada in Rs. 140. The taste was good and was served with sambhar and 2 types of chutney. The sambhar chutney taste just fine here since I have had better sambhar and chutney at many places that I have been to.

They also serve Chinese and some North Indian cuisines. The Veg Dum Biryani served here is a treat to your taste buds. They have a comfy seating area with beautiful decor. The service is nice. It is a little high on your pocket but is worth visiting.

Sagar Ratna as known for there south indian cusine and huge family dosa. Comfortable sitting setup and relaxed ambience is the most likeable quality of this unit. Food was surely amazing to by there taste. Raitas, Dahi vadas, differ types of dosa and some chinese items like corn salt and pepper were really appetizing. Although i like the concept of family dosa. I completly love this place and going to come again with family.

I enjoyed every minute spent in this restaurant. Be it with your small circle or with your gang, this restaurant will provide you food that you won't be able to resist.

I went to this restaurant a number of times and every time, I came out full and satisfied. You will start licking your fingers even though you are full. The food is delicious, just no words for it. Simply delicious. The ambience is also good and provides a lot of opportunities to get yourself clicked. The food arrives in 25 to 45 minutes, depending upon the dish you ordered and meanwhile the goup could chit chat over gossips that's haunting their mind.

Then we come to bill. The price is also pretty good considering the food and ambiance of the place. Of course, you cannot order daily at this rate but for a few special reasons, you can party here.

Overall, this is a place to try in Banaras. And it will leave you craving for its dosas the same way you crave for your fav street food.

Sagar ratna is an excellent South Indian based restaurant. It has delicious food. I love going there. It's infrastructure is fabulous. And is completely air conditioned with very comfortable seats.

The ambience is nice. Food is good.
Only bad thing is the service, the waiting is like 30-40min after the order is been taken

I ordered paneer rawa dosa online.and what I got what black burnt rawa dosa stuffed with potatoes.very bad experience.they are just fooling the customers ordering online. I will never order from this restaurant.guys kindly check the quality of food they serve

The food served is quite appetizing. If you're visiting Varanasi, and staying near Lanka, this is a must visit. I went there a few times, and I can attest that the Rosa combo with Dahi Vada and filter coffee is highly recommended. Its a little pricy, but is definitely worth a visit.
