Their staffs are rude, and food tastes pretty bad. Don't know why they are in restaurant business

It was recommended to us at Safarnama Hostel and it is the best VEG food we have eaten in India. 100% recommended

Food is quite good in taste but extremely spicy. My main concern is with the restaurant owner. His attitude is like he do not care to reply to his customer. I have some query about the food but he did not even bother to answer properly. If you can't welcome your customers properly then why are you running a hospitality business?

I ordered Veg Thali, it was all good.
But what I didn't like is, they are cooking the books. These people are tax evaders. Firstly, they want to evade taxes by accepting only in cash and then after, when asked for bill, they refused to give it and it was written clearly in the menu that you will be charged 5% extra GST for every food items.

So, Food was good, but I hate tax evaders.

Horrible Experience the owner who is sitting in cash counter has full greed in it. The behaviour of it is disgusting so rude man i have ever seen in my whole life.

Bought pineapple juice, mango shake, kesariya lassi, sugar free kulfi lassi. Pine apple juice costed ₹90 but tasted like sour lime water. Sugar free kulfi falooda ₹65 - taste is okay don't whether it is sugar free or not. Kesariya lassi and mango shake are okay not bad.

Low Quality, low quantity. We took kadhai paneer which didn't resembled as such. It was like shahi paneer only.

I tried Rava Masala Dosa which was very tasty and very well served. I had also tried basket chaat which was very yummy. You can try different types of chaats like basket chaat, kachori chaat etc. All are very good in taste and also at affordable price.

घटिया तरीन सर्विस और स्टाफ की जगह इन्होंने गुंडे पाल रखें हैं जो ग्राहक को आंखें भी दिखातें है और 4 बातें भी सुनातें हैं। खाना किसी जमाने में अच्छा होता होगा जी अब तो बस नाम बेच रहें है ये लोग। जान बुझकर छोटी जगह रखी है ताकि 20 लोगों में ही भर जाए और दूसरों को लगे कि बड़ी भीड़ होती है वहां जरूर खाना अच्छा होगा। अजी घंटा जाकर खुद ही देख लो और फिर मेरी तरह ऐसे ही रिव्यु न लिखने बैठो तो कहना । रेस्त्रां का मालिक तो और भी गुंडई करेगा अगर खराब सर्विस की बात की तो। बच के रहना ये लोग केवल कैश पेमेंट लेते हैं नो कार्ड, नो upi ।अगर खाना खा के कुछ हुआ तो जिम्मेदारी तुम्हारी.

यह इस क्षेत्र का सबसे अच्छा होटल है। वहां सब कुछ परफेक्ट था।
सर्विसिंग अच्छी थी, खाना लाजवाब था। स्वच्छता स्वस्थ थी।
मेरा मतलब है कि सब कुछ सही था।स्वादिष्ट भोजन! हमें कढाई पनीर बहुत पसंद आया।

Excellent service, reasonably priced. We had papri chat, aloo tikki chat, dahi vada, lassi, and kulfi faluda. Will visit again. This place is very clean and situated next to Gate 1.

It is good family restaurant and also budget friendly. The food quality is very good but the taste is ok. Good ambiance. Staff is cooperative. Just check it out as this restaurant is in the mid street of Gadaulia.

Not recommend at all the owner sitting at the counter is very rude don't know how to behave with customer. Doesn't deserve single star.

Owner and staff are very arogent and rude. I personally feel it. Apne caste ka hotel hai samjahke khane chala gaya lekin beheviour dekh ke bohot dukh hua.

Place is okay inner decoration is simple food taste is awesome but i don't like the quantity so quantity is not good perhaps the taste is awesome so this place is okay for first time din in or perfect for home delivery maximum per vegetarian dish price is (200rs to 400s)

Food is okay. Person at counter is rude. Throws away the card after payment. No manner to talk. Worst restaurant as per my experience.

Worst experience ever. I went up to pay with my credit card, and the guy threw my credit card over the counter after payment; it was so disgraceful. Their food was average, and prices were high. They don't even deserve a single star. Their service was pathetic. I’m attaching the picture of the guy (i guess the owner) who threw my credit card.

Had dahi puri, Tomato chat and pani puri in this restaurant. The taste was awesome. Would recommend this restaurant if you are in nearby there and want to have something to eat.

It was nice experience there, crowded place, i tried thali there nd it was delicious, if you are searching for food without onion and garlic there is Marwari thali for them. Nd my personal fav cold coffee ️

Good place at that place and food is good but sitting area is congested and air conditions pulling all the smoke of kitchen which cause eye irritation.

I had a special Thali which consisted of Roti, Methi Paratha, Plain Rice, pappad, Raita, Paneer Makhini, Dal Makhini and Veg Curry.
It was really nice.

Poor service 1hr se food ka wait kiya. Use ke baad bhi roti phele laa kar dedi. Or sabzi fir 20min baad lee kar aaye. Very poor service. And manegement. Agar ise se bhi kum or negative rating ho to mai ise ko -100 dena pasand karunga

Worst food ever, the staff behaviour was rude, very poor quality food as per rate, the taste was very bad of thali and it's a waste of money.

We had delux and special thali for lunch, food was average, price is bit higher side. Okay for lunch and dinner.

I found the Chat items were little overpriced. However, Restaurant was Clean & Tasty. Kesariya Lassi was the best one among the Menu I tried.

Worst place to eat.taste not good, accommodation not ventilating properly because of that too hot inside maximum chance to get infected all in case of a single infected person sitting there.price is too high

The price of the foods over here are way too high as compared to the quality and quantity they serve. The interior is not that well furnished either and in terms of cleanliness it is average.
The worst thing is that they don't have an option of payment through card or UPI.

I am happy with the food quality and cleanliness in the dining hall, the service was good too, masala dosa was special, lassi was ok ok, not that fresh.the only thing was the waiter forced me to tip; when i asked is it compulsory he said yes.its my wish to give tip, not ask forcefully!

Restroom here is worst than Varanasi railway station, when I suggested this to manager he responded that it’s not his mistake. People come and it gets dirty. What an excuse. 460 rs thali and stinky restroom …

Quantity is low and price is high
I ordered chat and golgappa.which was costly plus quantity was very low according to outside chat corner due to its name and fame and taste was also average

If you want to taste the actual, authentic ghar ka khana then you should go here. The best and most recommended food here is Dosa. One must try their south indian cousine. Apart from that you can try anything and you will find it satisfactory.

A wonderful restaurant with fantastic food. I loved their Hyderabadi biryani and dal fry. I will definitely be back again!

If you are going to this place order Dosa, place was clean, staff were prompt. We ordered Kadhai Paneer, Daal, Roti and Dosa
Out of all Dosa was nice, other things were not so tasty. Just OK type.

Varanasi visit is not complete without having the food from this place. Awesome taste of everything.

Food taste is good but prices are not upto mark.
For a full plate chole bhature it cost 100 and if u take single bhatura and a side cholt it cost 50 rs for one bhatura and 50 for a small katori chole.
Waiters dont have much to do as there were less customers. Waiters were yawning

I visited today. Opted for best kachori chat they and I was utterly disappointed by it. First it was cold and clearly not up to the standards of its price. My friend tried the pani puri and again, it had no special taste. I would have got better taste on roadside chat place.
Reminded me of an idiom, "oochi dukan, feeka pakwan"

This place isn't that great. Food is fine. Be precautious about the freshness of food as the chilly paneer I ate gave me an upset stomach. Chaat is fine too. You can try other places as well

Even though you will like the taste of variety of chat options available (especially tamatar chat) but I had a stomach upset the next day. So eat here at your own risk!

One of the best in Varanasi and the best on Dashashwamedh Road (Opposite to hotel Lara India 20 meter down on a side lane) for an array of authentic pure veg cuisine (include more than 50 paneer preparations, other Indian and Continental dishes). For more than fifty years this beautifully decorated (wood and cut glass crafted) hallway is pleasing the appetite of the visitors from the globe. Orders take time to get served as they prepare dishes after the order is made (no pre cooked food is available). So if you are very hungry and can't wait for 15 -20 odd minutes (some complex preparations may take even longer) then have some packed snacks while you wait. All food items are free from gst and other taxes. One thing need to be mentioned specially for Bengalis that special instructions are needed if you want your plate to be free from onions and garlic.

Over the years among the more consistently excellent value and quality restaurants in India. The image below is of their special thali which i enjoy there.

The quality of food is bad. After eating there we had indigestion. Breakfast was south indian and stale. Disappointed

They don't serve and treat customers well. If you buy anything that is served in a single plate then you can't get an extra plate if you have someone with you. They will definitely loot you.

One of the great restaurants in dasaswamedh ghat, though it's little costly but still the taste is good

Waiter asked for a tip from me, but not from any locals, greedy behaviour which Ghandi would not approve.
