The worst bar they allow you if you are wearing shoes and if you wear slipper they will not allow you inside the venue. They give entry based on dress attire. Will never go in life again

One of the late night options in Lucknow. Location is good, hazratganj market and, valet parking is also available. Food is ok-ish and music is on the louder side

When we entered at around 10 pm, the atmosphere was really electric. The DJ was playing some really good songs. We were all set to dance as the DJ was playing some fine tracks. That’s when the whole atmosphere was hijacked by a band and started playing songs. I’m not saying that they were bad, but for them to be playing at a club at 11pm, they weren’t that good. We waited patiently for them to finish so that DJ could be resumed, but after waiting for 1.5 hours we were frustrated and left the place.

Worst experience ever. Woodpecker’s staff have no etiquette how to talk with their customers

The last time we visited this place, we had a great experience. The staff was attentive, the services were excellent, and the food quality was top-notch. However, this time, my experience was quite the opposite. To begin with, they seemed oblivious to our arrival; it took a frustrating 20-minute wait just to get the menu. Eventually, I had to get up and ask for it myself. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing and barely edible. To add to the disappointment, when it came time to settle the bill, the waiter asked for a service charge.
Additionally, we were comfortably seated on the sofa, but they insisted we move to chairs, despite the place not being crowded. It was quite uncomfortable, and it seemed they were more concerned with keeping their sofas vacant than ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I have no intention of returning to this establishment. "

Visited woodpecker with my friend on 15 August, the behaviour of the waiters and the gate keeper was very very very unprofessional, they don't know how to communicate with customer, and when I ask manager to give me official mail ID to file written complaint, he just said mai dekhta hu maam
&went outside & never back to me again, and this happened twice with me in this bar, never suggest girls to go these type of place where they don't respect women, very rude staff.

• Woodpecker is the place to be if you're looking for a delicious menu and mind-blowing deals on drinks. The best part is that it is economical, while ensuring that the service is mind-blowing! •There is indoor and outdoor seating and the ambience is gorgeous. Staff is polite, courteous and accomodating to your needs.
•There's a dance floor with the DJ doing a decent job, if you want to shake a leg.
The location is easy to reach via Hazratganj Metro Station as well.
• I highly recommend trying the tandoori mushroom. It's very tasty!

The ambiance, the food, the service everything is fabulous at this place. The staff too is very polite and professional! Kudos to the team!

I went to the venue for a music night with few of my friends on 31st March, 2021. Entry of people was well regulated, keeping the Covid-19 guidelines in mind. The staff was polite as well. Quality of the music/bass is good here, your legs surely will start grooving independently.
In short it was a well spent evening. Thanks to the staff and the manager.

The food's good and so is the ambience. DJ is awesome and makes you want to groove all night. Live music also has a great vibe

I have been to the terrace many times but woodpecker was the first time I went and it really disappointing for me, firstly the staff behaviour is not good at all and doesn’t know how to talk to their customers secondly there is very loud music not just loud but very loud that u cannot place your food order or even talk to the person sitting beside you, though i know its a disc but not everybody comes to dance atleast the music should be in the way that it should be suitable for every person in there.

Great food and drinks and in a reasonable prices and great with ambiance really loved to enjoy there

We sat in the open area and absolutely loved the ambience. The food was super tasty. We ordered peking soup, which was beautifully presented and was one of the best pekings I've tasted. The chilly chicken and fish fingers were nicely prepared. The minced chicken lasagne is a must try if you're looking for some italian yumminess. The chicken shashlik sizzler was something I had never tried before.but liked a lot. So I'd definitely visit sometime again. They had live music till 10: 30 after which the DJ kicked in. Overall, I had a very nice experience

@woodpecker.hotelcharansplaza has an amazing open area beautifully themed with wooden work and an indoor seating as well.
Personally I would prefer hanging out with my gang in the open area, chilling out over a couple of beer towers, seesha and food.

Got invited to this newly opened restaurant "woodpecker" by hotel charans plaza. Situated at the ground floor this place has stunning interiors, a beautiful outdoor seating area and delicious food to die for.

What i had-:
1) classic chilly chicken- just the way i wanted, it was soft little bit spicy with loads of sauces.
2) Lamb seekh kebab- served with mint chutney and achari pyaaz, the kebabs were soft and tasted great.
3) Barbeque chicken sizzler- mashed potato and saute veg tasted well with this juicy chicken.
4) Mutton rogan josh combo- 4 roti served with onion, sufficient for two person.

Talking about drinks i tried "sex on the beach" which was based on vodka mixed with orange & cranberry juice, "B 52" - it was quite strong one in the taste i would say. If you are non alcholic person you can go for "Blueberry blast" or "Black current blast".
Also they have some amazing offers for beer lowers like you can get a kingfishers beer tower at just 399/-

Woodpecker is probably the place where at the most unexpected time you could have the most memorable time of your life. The ambience was inexplicable while the polite staff made the experience so blissful that no matter how much time has passed.

For starters, we first ordered the Golden Prawns which were truly worthy of the title of 'Golden' followed by the Cheese Corn Balls which were soo cheesy that we just couldn't have enough of it and after getting off cloud nine we tried the Malai Chicken Tikka which softened our hearts and then won it without any effort.

We asked for a Strawberry Sunshine which was soo delicious that we savoured every last bit of it whilst enjoying the magnificent ambience of pure wood and open roof seating area.

For the maincourse, we swifty ordered the Chicken Lababdar which was so good that we couldn't decide on how to put it to words.

Hand down, woodpeckers quickly became one of the best places we choosed to randomly visit and would remain of the best dining experience we could ever get.

This is one of the affordable bar in Lucknow and it's beautiful. They have open space where you can enjoy the nature and they have the indoor facilities also and both are at ground floor

A Newly launced cafe by hotel charan Plaza. Large setting arrangement both indoors and outdoors. This place has one of the most affordable bars in town. Quick service with well trained staff.
Must try at woodpecker is white sauce pasta With its silky smooth and aromatic sauce made from butter, milk and all purpose flour (maida), it’s a guaranteed way to delight your taste buds.  
This place serves one of the best thick shake. My favourite at woodpecker is choco fudge brownie shake which taste super thick and amazing.
This place offers lot and lot varities in starters. Do try mini combo meals at woodpecker.

Visiting this place for the first time and i must say that i am very impressed with their reception and behaviour. Talking about the ambience it was totally amazing. They got both indoor and outdoor Sitting space with some good music. My personal favourite was the outdoor area. You can hear the birds chirping. You can visit with your both friends and family. Talking about the foods i order some cocktails and Sizzler and Lasagne. Everything was superb. In dessert i ordered DEATH by chocolate it stoled my heart. This one is most recommended. I was very happy with everything and will be visiting them again soon.

In the heart of the city lucknow you will find this one amazing restaurant with awesome DJ. Happy our rates are just incredible. Enjoyed a beautiful evening with friends and had fun. You can enjoy Hukka in open restaurant and can enjoy fine dining. Proper space for parking.

Great place to hangout with friends. The place has daily offers and Zomato gold also valid. You can also dance to inhouse dj system. Overall had a good time!

Great food, great ambiance.
The best part was the staff, very polite, well trained and superb service.
A must visit place if you are traveling to Lucknow.
