Pros: the view on the rooftop area and seating on the floor was super cozy Cons: the place just didn’t seem clean at all, especially the bathroom. It’s not well lit as you enter - quiet dark and dingy. The cushions and seating on the rooftop seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
I ordered a pizza and that was the worst pizza of my whole life. They use "tanduri roti" for the pizza base and just added left over vegetables. There were even 2 full garlic clove without even peeling off. Worst quality and very high price
It was an amazing experience. The food was really yummy. One of the best place near lakshman jhula. Simple and comfortable with tasty food. Would love to come back again with family
One the best places to visit if your are planning to go Lakshman jhula. Situated at the bank of Ganga with such a spectacular view one tip try to get the place on the above floor where the seating is on ground but the view is worth everything. Not only the view but the food is also amazing. We order a normal Chinese plater you can say fried rice and manchurian which was awesome, but we order on Arabian dish Falafel Al which is kind of a platter with hummus and pita bread this was also remarkably good. At last we order the normal ginger lemon honey tea which was the best to take after the food. The ambiance and the location is worth everything but the food is also worth considering and that too in a budget. At last just once try to visit there at the upper floor and you’ll automatically see the magic of that location.
Awsome view. Staff is also friendly and food was also good. I just love this cafe. The vibe is here so pure. I have been here more than three times and every time it was such a lovely experience.
We ordered the ordinary pizza, Hummus with pita for the very first time and pancakes. And Boy, we were disappointed. The pizza was all elastic with sour cheese, the hummus with pita was like roti chatni and the pancakes were very poor version of malpue made by my mother. The decor is not even that good. There are three sections, one to sit inside on chairs, sit inside on mattress and sit outside on chairs. But nothing very good. And the prices are not cheap either.
Never had such a bad dining experience. The quality of the food was below average. The only good part about my visit was the view from the cafe, breathtaking indeed.
Peace full place with great ambiance where we can watch River Ganga, Lakshman Jhula.after roaming few places in rishikesh we went for lunch, we just relaxed and total positive vibes.we ordered south Indian Thalia its good and great place for snaps.
View: laxman jhula and ganga view, which is great. Food: Decent not that wow: ( Price: food cost us for three person was 1100. Seating: cafe is not that spacious. Seating in open was just as usual plastic table chair like dhaba. Overall the cafe is just good for view and have good relaxing time.
This cozy cafe has left the best impression. I went there post watching its images on instagram and i must say it was excatly what was shown in the pics. A cozy place to chill out by the beach of river Ganga giving the amazing view of the laxman jhula ️. A must visit place when in Rishikesh. Food is nice! They hve multiple sitting options from floor sitting, River view sitting and cabins inside. The staff is good.
Very nice location. And spacious. The ambience is also very good with view of Ganga flowing and well lit Laxman jhula in front of your eyes. The place to visit though is after 8 pm as there is very good crowd and also the vibe is very good with the cold breeze of the the Ganga river. This place is a must visit on my list everytime I go to rishikesh. Also you can drink near the ghat after this cafe is closed or sit and relax. Nobody says anything in that matter. You can relax on the ghat until as lateas 2 am.
The only star is for the view. Food is utterly disappointing and more expensive than the places around who make it way better. We had a falafel lafa and enchiladas. The lafa bread was tasteless (no salt). The falafels weren't falafels, they had none of the herbs or spices, they were just chickpea fried balls. The lafa was rolled in a weird way and it all came apart as soon as it got to the table. The enchiladas' dough was also tasteless like the lafa and not cooked enough. They were greasy and oily af. As soon as I lifted one oil started pouring out making a pool in the plate. Defo not recommend. There are places with the same view and better food for lower prices.
View is nice view. But food is so so. Came here after 2 years but food is same mediocre, like before, especially for that price what they asking. And filter coffee is horrible, very watery and transparent. Could recommend only if you want to enjoy view nothing else.
When you go to a restaurant or cafe priority is food and every other things come after that, wether its location or interior or service, their food was below average service was average location was the only saviour for us.
Went to this restaurant after doing river rafting and cliff jump. Ordered Mango and Oreo Milkshake along with Bruschetta. It has a good view of river ganga and most important thing is cafes hippie ambiance. You just need to have good food along with good view and good vibes in life.
3 stars only for the ganga view. Ambience is good but the quality is pathetic. The problem that i found is that staff is not able to understand the customers properly. They actually don't get you what to do and how to handle the customers. The order takes super extra time and even after waiting for long, you do not get the taste. Need to improve alot.
Great ambience, by the banks of mother ganga. Delicious food. Approx Rs. 350 per person with drinks (Non-alcoholic) ofcourse when in Rishikesh. Must visit.
This place is very close to Laxman Jhula, so parking 2 wheelers can be an issue, serves good Indian food and hot tava rotis. We tried the Grilled Platter and Thali which had Mushroom Mutter masala with Kaali Dal which was very good except Mixed Veg Raita. The owner is a nice guy and entertaining to his guests with his banter. Must visit for the food and the banter Dirt cheap so don't expect clean table cloths.
I loved dis cafe.right next to the bank of river ganga, u can sit n have ur meal wid great views around. The israeli food is much better dn anything else.loved the way the place is decorated.you can sit watch the crazy enthusiastic rafters while having ur meals.its over all a nice place.must visit.
The view is breathtaking. The weather was awesome. You can hear the ganga river flowing by, sipping on hot cup of tea. The ambience was nice too, cutely decorated with lights. However, it's too costly Everything here on the name of Indian is too much costly and taste isn't also that good. Won't recommend to have a meal. However it's okay to sip a tea and munch on some snacks. Must go for the view.
Good food, a wide variety of Food, great view of mother Ganga and Lakhsman jhula. You can even hear the evening Ganga Aarti while still enjoying in the cafe!
The restaurant is located just after laxman jhula on the other side of tapovan. Both the ganges river and lacman jhula are visible from restauarant. As rishikesh has a non veg prohibition all the restaurants located are purely vegetarian. The entry lane is narrow but so are most of the lanes. Me and my wife visited for brunch and der were another two to three guests. The staff are very polite and informative. We ordered masala chai, lemon soda, nachos, banana honey porridge, cheese tomato mushroom crape and Hello 2 the queen dessert. Masala chai and lemon soda suited to their beverage tag. The nachos were really good with layers of tasty vegetables stuffed inbetween them. The banana honey porridge was not upto the mark and we actually left a bit of it. The cheese tomato mushroom crape was delicious and highly recommended. Last but not the least the dessert hello 2 the queen is so lip smackingly good i just had to surrender to it. Itz ice cream with banana and choco powder and topped with pomegranate and if u dont have it u missed one of the best desserts i ever had. All in all great food, economic rates, perfect views and must visit if you are near laxman jhula
Worst chai I ever had, ginger lemon honey to sour, wrong pizza tastes like nothing and even the coke is bad and tastes selfmade.how is it possible to fail in every imaginable way?
I Like this place a lot! I have visited this place many times and personally I like it a lot more in evening and at night. The food is Okyish. Wouldn't say that it's very tasty. It's okyish. But the view is just soo Amazing. I didn't feel like leaving this place because of the view. I could hear The evening prayer (Aarti) very easily while sitting in ganga beach's top floor. You can clearly see the river and lakshman jhoola from this place. Overall I like going to ganga beach for it's view and serenity.
Ordered a giant burrto from their menu and I wasn't disappointed at all! Food was very delicious, the restaurant was very empty on Friday at 6pm, and we sat upstairs overlooking the river. This is the best place for people watching, monkey watching, cow watching, and scooter watching as everyone tries to fit across the bridge. It's dinner and a show here!
As the name suggests just adjacent to river ganga flowing.their ginger lemon tea is famous.was jam packed and the service was slow may be due to rush during holi.but definetely worth the visit.would recommend to outside.good place to chill
Great view on the ganga river, very friendly staff, vegan friendly - best vegan applecake ever! Lovely to sit there, enjoy the tasty food and listen to the music in the backround.
I ordered for a hot chocolate and they gave me Maltova (Powdered flavor that we used to mix in milk when we were kids). Seriously? ! Prices are so high. Menu was prepared with foreigners in mind.
Edible but not tasty. After seeing such great reviews we went during the evening. The view over the Ganges and seating area is nice. The staff are pleasant and friendly. But the food was sooooo bland. It's the blandest meal we've had in the 6 weeks that we've spent in India. The waiter said he could make the curry spice but this definitely wasn't delivered. We ordered the Ganges Special Mix Veg, which the waiter said is in a flavourful gravy. With it being a special of theirs we thought it'd be fantastic but it really was like eating watery veg, the garlic naan was okay, but a little dry and again not very flavoured.
I can't comment on he rest of the menu but I would certainly not recommend the Ganges Special.
Best restaurant in Rishikesh city just below laxman jhula. You can enjoy your dinner with amazing mystical view of Divine Ganga River. Also the ambience of restaurant is quite western but everyone will surely enjoy this place.
The food is nice, but don't expect to much, relative to the price there are better options. The vibe in the other hand is great, nice place to chill and meet new people with a great view to the Gangas and Laxmanjula bridge, especially at night
This colourful spot is absolutely perfect for relaxing in the cool mountain breeze on the banks of Mother Ganga. It is literally situated in the shadow of the famous Laksman Jula. The food is pretty good. The chai is very hot. And the entrance to the restaurant is opposite a small shrine at the top of the ghat, with stairs down to the water. So it really is great for puja (prayers) and a bite to eat. ;-)
