Basushree cinema hall is located in one of the prime locations of South Kolkata.such a nice place. & budget friendly cinema hall for cine lovers / goers.still maintaining the old legacy & heritage, from previous years till date.
Very bad place just horrible worst going there very much unhygienic, dirty and the environment was unbearable. People present there were of very low standard, suggest people not to go there until it is well maintained
Seats were not at all good. Too much uncomfortable. Cleaning is very much required. The screen is also small. You can choose this hall as your last option. Otherwise not
The picture quality of the cinema hall is very pathetic and horrible and So worst full and the man who control the projector does not know how to control it. The picture was very hazy. Total management is worthless and embarrassing to people.
The picture quality of the cinema hall is very pathetic. The man who controls the projector does not know how to control it and the picture always goes blurry I was watching Jawan but it's very ridiculous that all the time the picture was very hazy. Total worthless
Very bad experience.the screen was very small and sometimes the screen was getting stuck.we had to wait approx 30mins in the middle of the movie to restart the screen.maximum time the screen was getting whitish.
Nice place, in less price we can watch nice movies but if you are Hollywood fan and movie watcher in cinema halls with better quality then I'll suggest to book a ticket in PVR only, because the screen here is somewhat dust and blackish kind off.
Heritage Cinema Hall at the heart of the city. Huge Screen, excellent sound system and comfortable old-fashioned seats. Budget friendly tickets and polite staff.
Pathetic experiance. Please do not go to watch movie in this theater. I had my bookings through paytm and the counter personnel is saying that it is cancelled even i got into argument with the owner. At last i have to photocopy my ticket and submit it to the owner. Then i got permission to watch the movie.
Went at 1 pm in the rain to get tickets for the 7: 30 show. The man at the ticket counter was sleeping and told me to come at 7 to book tickets. Have come here before and this was never a rule. Disappointing, I guess there's a reason multiplexes keep beating local cinema halls and it's not just their finances.
Ticket prices are responsible but air-conditioning are not good, plastic seats (Can be painful at back), ticket counter members are very slow and management can't handle a Housefull show properly, Biggest issue is Sound is quite low!
Located at Hazra crossing, nearest metro is Jatin Das Park Metro. Once a renowned cinema, now only 3 shows run a day. It has only 1 screen. Tickets are reasonable. Crowd is mostly local.
One of the worst kind of theatre prevailing in kolkata.just because of its good connectivity it is running or else it should be demolished.inside hall neitger ac or fan is working properly.went to see lion king but dissapointed at screen display and seating arrangements
A Heritage cinema hall, invokes nostalgia, if maintenance was a Little better this place could have been another experience for movie going in an old world charm
A cinema hall that has kept its heritage in place. Inspite of multiplexes and all the glitters out there, viewing cinemas in these heritage halls are unique! Loved the experience.
