If you want to try India's best bengali food then this place is must visit. I always preferred their Mutton Dackbunglow (Mutton in thick gravy), Illish Borishali (Hilsha cooked in Coconut milk and mustard), Dub Chingri (Jumbo Prawn cooked in tender coconut with coconut malai), Bhetki Paturu (Bhetki cooked in banana leaf with mustard) and their awesome Bhetki Fish Fry. Alsoyou can have their Nolen Gurer Ice cream as desert, it is really mind blowing.

Overall [considering All Facets] would have rated 3.5, but since there's no such option/scope. Hence, 3.

The restaurant is ok in quality food, but surrounding area is too dirty. The sib- road connecting the restaurant to main road is stinky, got unhygienic smell. Need to improve on the surrounding atmosphere to attract more food lovers.

Food quality is good, service is also good, but place and space of the restaurant should be improved.

Staffs & quality of food were very good but quantity were not sufficient. Specifically Postorbora was too small compare to it's cost, rice quantity was not sufficient even full plate. Authority may try to prepare Chetol Macher muitual by their own personnel instead of purchasing ready-made frozen mutha from the market, overall authority may try to increase quantity of every items for customers satisfaction & value of their money.

Budget friendly. Location of the restaurant is in a bit weird place as there are dumpsters outside on the way to the restaurant so some people might find it troubling. However the restaurant itself is very clean and hygienic. Staff is very helpful. Many items available in the menu. Veg or non-veg both available. Food is good and budget friendly.

Most definitely the worst bm outlet in kolkata in terms of decor and service.food taste is standardized, no issues with that.when you pay akin to any other standard eatery you do expect some of the service aspect along with it which is sadly non existent

Extremely high price as compared to quality and quantity of the food. Good place to show off to your new girlfriend or 'door ke ristedar', but not recommend otherwise.
