6 Ballygunge Place Thali

One of the best places in Kolkata to relish Bengali cuisine. Love to visit this outlet near EEDF park

The food has degraded a little bit. However the major prob with this place is the environment. There was constant water leakage on the floor which is making this more unhygienic.

The food quality was really awesome and the quantity of thali was huge. Behaviour of the staff was also good.

Service is top notch. Food has it's own subtle taste and flavours. Recommended dish: vetki thali

Worst place and worst food and worst taste ever I had eaten, the portion is like for a baby meal, the taste was disgusting, low quality rice was used, the sukto gravy have water like consistency, the begun vaja has no salt at all, chicken and mutton was over cooked and burned out, and the chicken and mutton was not fress, the rice become cold rice, the ghol is more like lassi not ghol, the stuff behaviour is not good at all, ambiance is gross. It only looks ok on the plate not in the mouth, overall experience yaaak thooo

I live hundreds and thousands of km away from this place and I never do plan on visiting this place.
Despite this I’m giving this a 1 star.
Why you ask?

This restaurant has hired some scammers and are claiming to give ₹203 to each person that gives them a 5* rating.

And for some reason have found me, a guy sitting >500km away, and telling me to rate it a 5* despite never being in the radius.

Rather than paying these guys, if the restaurant probably focuses on customer satisfaction then they won’t need to do such malicious activities to improve ratings.

Only God knows how many 5* reviews here are fake.

The food was really worth it and the staff and atmosphere was nice It's a nice place to have family or couple dinner

Good ambience. This is basically based on theme of satyajit ray. Reasonable price. Taste is good. The food served in kasa plate which is really authentic. If you want to taste bangaliyana.try it. Recommended

Bahut Ganda resturant hai food bahut Ganda hai akdam taste kharab hai or staff behaviour is very bad overall my experience is very bad and any one is not going this restaurant it is my opinion

Great place for family dine outs. The service is prompt, the price and value is amazing. Would recommend visiting to everyone who's looking for a Bengali style restaurant

Food quality is not at all good here. We ordered 3 murog pulao and 5 mutton pulao and had to wait for almost 45 min. Moreover among 8 plate in 2-3 plate the pulao was served cold which is disgusting, you are charging a good amount and at the end this quality service is not acceptable. The quantity was also too less. Overall a worst experience.

They didn't let me pay through my choose payment method, saying, today is holiday, we can't accept swiggy payments, This is not new, that I'm entering any 6 bullygunj place this time, this is irritating.

The taste of the food is so delicious.
Very smooth atmosphere. And the rest of the service is too good.
