Very busy market, all types of fresh vegetables & fish available in the morning, road is congested most of the time, price are reasonable.

It's a local daily market located very close to Kavi Najrul metro station. One can get anything and everything of daily requirement like vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry and fish, potato, onion, garlic, ginger, grocery, banana leaf etc etc. The main bazar is in a covered place but there is an extension of this bazar just outside the main bazar located by the side of the road on the footpath. It opens at 7: 00am in the morning and closes at about 2pm. It again opens partially at 4pm and closes at 9pm.

The market is costly but has lot of varieties of fish and vegetables. Visit the nearby Boral Market for cheaper resources.

There are two bazars in Garia. One is on boral main road and another which good for different types of fish is near Garia more. Bazar on boral main road is good for vegetables and price is also cheap and vegetables are fresh. Also fish, meat, chicken is also available. On other hand garia main bazar is very good for fresh fish of different types. Price is little bit high. Other wise it is ok. Fruit and vegetables are also available. A hilsa of around 1kg size will be anything from rs 1200–1500 per kg. Monsoon is the season of Hilsa fish. It is a moment every bengali awaits with bated breath.
